Omnicom Media Tops RECMA Global and All Regional Rankings Again

NEW YORK – November 03, 2026 -- Omnicom Media has topped RECMA's latest Network Diagnostics report in the global ranking and in all four regions (North America, EMEA, APAC and LATAM), the second consecutive report in which it has done so. It also claims about US$10 billion in billings won or retained through competitive pitches so far in 2026, more than any other holding company.

The group holds roughly 30% of industry Activity Volume/Billings and just under 35% of quali-share in the report. RECMA called Omnicom Media the "new industry powerhouse."

RECMA's 19-KPI index covers about 700 agencies in 45 markets

The bi-annual report scores vitality and structure beyond new business wins or billings. It also weighs client portfolio and relationship stability, digital, data and content resources, and homogeneity across geographies. Agencies are ranked by quali-points and sorted into Dominant, High Profile, Very Good, Good and Average profiles.

Omnicom Media agency brands were rated Dominant in 19 markets, more than any other media group, across all four regions.

OMD takes its 12th consecutive global #1, with PHD and Initiative in the top five

Three Omnicom Media agencies (OMD, PHD and Initiative) placed among the five best performing global media agencies. OMD was the most balanced performer across the 45 countries studied, rated Dominant or High Profile in 29 markets, or 65% of those evaluated. It ranked first globally for Digiday Data & Content Experts and for its Client Portfolio Profile, which RECMA found shows very good relationship stability across international and local accounts.

Hearts United, the newly launched agency combining Hearts & Science and Mediahub, posted the largest quali-share gain since the last report and over a three-year window. PHD ranked third on that measure.

RECMA credits the Omnicom-IPG integration for gains across the agency portfolio

RECMA said all of the group's agencies are benefiting from the evaluation's advantages, particularly the integration of data and digital specialist units following Omnicom's acquisition of IPG.

Omnicom Media CEO Florian Adamski attributed the results to the "Growth by Design" strategy, which combines scale, data, identity, commerce and talent. He said the integration of data and digital specialists is producing capabilities greater than the sum of their parts.

October pitch wins add to a US$10 billion year-to-date haul

In October alone, Omnicom Media won:

  • The Coca-Cola Company's media business in North America
  • Lidl across Europe
  • The global Lavazza assignment
  • The British Council
  • L'Oréal in the DACH region

Earlier 2026 wins and retentions include Adidas, Aviva, CVS, Delta, Dyson, IBM, Novo Nordisk, Uber and Xiaomi.
