GOTHENBURG – – November 03, 2026 --
SKF Vertevo, the automotive business being separated from SKF, has unveiled its stand-alone brand, website and social media channels four weeks before its planned listing on 1 December.
Brand launch follows 2024 separation decision
SKF initiated the separation of its Automotive business on 17 September 2024. On 26 February 2026 it announced the future name, SKF Vertevo. On 1 October 2026, an Extraordinary General Meeting of AB SKF resolved on the distribution of the shares in SKF Vertevo AB.
The new visual identity and brand platform go live through the SKF Vertevo website, a LinkedIn presence and an Instagram account.
Racing heritage anchors the new identity
The brand draws on motorsport, where the company says it has contributed to automotive innovation for decades. The design keeps a link to SKF's long heritage and expertise while pointing to the company's ambition to help accelerate the future of mobility.
CEO Kerstin Enochsson said the launch is "about much more than a visual identity."
Communications chief targets stakeholder engagement before listing
Viktoria Karsberg, Head of Global Brand and Communication at SKF Vertevo, described the launch as an important step toward becoming an independent company. She said the company will begin building awareness and engage more directly with all stakeholders as it prepares for the listing.
