Themed "Where the Industry Aligns," the 2026 STC Annual Conference offered a robust lineup of educational sessions, from emerging research and regulatory developments to market trends and community impact.

For the 2026-2027 term, the Board Officers include:

- Lifetime Achievement Award: Founding STC member Bruce Lemons, former President of Foresite Design, Inc., for nearly four decades of planning and designing athletic and recreational facilities.

- Volunteer of the Year Award: Troy Virgo, Director of Advocacy at Shaw Industries, Inc., for his work on multiple STC committees and leadership in the industry's response to expanded product stewardship laws.

The 2027 STC Annual Conference will be held on October 18-20, 2027, in San Diego, CA.
