JERSEY CITY – November 03, 2026 -- Casio's CRW-002 ring watch, a full-metal miniature take on the A168 digital watch, goes on sale in November for $135 in silver and $155 in gold.
A 1995 classic shrinks to fit a finger
Casio America, Inc. built the CRW-002 around a module roughly one-tenth the size of a standard watch module, using high-density mounting technology and a miniature battery. The ring recreates the A168, first introduced in 1995, down to the feature indicators on the face and the shape and finish of the band.
Metal injection molding (MIM) technology reproduces the detailed shapes of the case and band. The band's matte finish adds a contrasting texture to the case.
Shermeen Greenmun, Vice President of Timepiece at Casio America, said the ring "pushes the boundaries of what a watch can be" while keeping the details of the original.
The ring keeps the full digital feature set
Despite its size, the CRW-002 offers a six-digit display and three buttons. It includes:
- Water resistance
- Dual time
- A 1/100-second stopwatch
- An auto-calendar
- 12/24-hour format
Lighting comes from an LED backlight and a pulsing light that glows subtly at a preset time or at the top of every hour.
Two finishes arrive in November at select retailers
The CRW-002 series will be sold at select retailers, on Casio's website, and at the G-SHOCK Soho Store. The CRW-002D-1A (Silver) costs $135, and the CRW-002C-7A (Gold) costs $155.
