Fort Lauderdale – November 02, 2026 -- XTI Aerospace (Nasdaq: XTIA) has partnered with AirSight to add drone detection and airspace security software to the enterprise portfolio of its subsidiary Drone Nerds, widening the options for customers that want visibility into drone activity around their facilities.
AirSight pairs compatible detection systems with its AirGuard software platform. Target uses include law enforcement, critical infrastructure, correctional facilities, higher education campuses, and sports and entertainment venues.
AirGuard consolidates sensor data into one interface with real-time alerts
AirGuard pulls data from compatible detection sensors into a single interface and sends real-time alerts to designated security personnel. Depending on sensor configuration and available data, the platform can show drone and pilot location. Deployments can cover a single facility, a campus, or multiple locations.
The platform is hardware-agnostic. It can connect to existing security and command systems, subject to technical compatibility. Detection performance depends on the selected sensors, drone characteristics, site conditions, and system configuration.
Drone Nerds will channel AirSight solutions through its enterprise team
Drone Nerds' enterprise team will work with AirSight specialists to assess customer requirements, configurations, pricing, and deployment options. The partnership covers four areas: detection and alerts, centralized monitoring, scalable site configurations, and evaluation of integrations with existing security systems.
Jeremy Schneiderman, Interim CEO of XTI Aerospace, said the deal supports the company's growth strategy by opening doors to new customers and broadening its role in drone operations and airspace security.
AirSight CEO and Founder Robert Tabbara said the tie-up lets the company reach "more enterprise and public safety organizations." He described detection as an additional layer of awareness beyond ground-based perimeters.
The source discloses no financial terms, customer commitments, or revenue projections for the partnership.
