MIAMI – November 02, 2026 -- Brand and condition websites account for just 17% of AI-answer citations on average, according to PharmaForceIQ audits behind the launch of Share of Answer, a new module in its Optichannel 360 platform for biopharma companies.
Audits find retired webpages and superseded FDA labeling in AI answers
The audits identified citations to hundreds of retired webpages. In one analysis, AI-generated responses quoted superseded FDA-approved labeling in nearly 250 answers.
Abbreviations also caused errors. In a rare disease analysis, AI engines identified the condition correctly when prompted with its full name, but more than half of the answers failed to identify it when an abbreviation was used.
Module audits answers claim by claim across four dimensions
PharmaForceIQ defines Share of Answer (SOA) as the proportion of relevant AI responses in which a therapy or brand is present and represented accurately. The module has supported analyses of more than 10,000 AI-generated responses across branded and disease-state programs at biopharma companies of different sizes.
The evaluation framework scores each answer on four dimensions:
- Present: whether the brand, molecule or therapy surfaces in relevant clinical and disease-state queries.
- Accurate: whether the answer matches current approved evidence, without unsupported claims, outdated dosing or withdrawn data.
- Preferred: how the therapy is presented relative to alternatives, including clinical differentiation.
- Cited: whether the response references authoritative sources such as peer-reviewed trials and treatment guidelines.
Unlike tools that monitor surface-level mentions, the system turns claim-level findings into prioritized fixes. It establishes an MLR-governed source of truth and publishes approved claims on digital channels where AI engines can read and cite them, with each statement traced to a clear source.
Controlled test lifts answer accuracy to 94-100%
In one controlled test of a subset of questions, answer accuracy rose to 94-100%. One engine improved from 40% to 95%.
Optichannel 360 is the company's AI-native commercial execution platform connecting field and digital marketing. Chief Executive and Strategy Officer Hemal Somaiya cited a "massive shift" in how healthcare professionals discover scientific information, and said clinicians asking AI about a therapy should receive answers reflecting evidence the brand stands behind rather than outdated or unsupported claims.
