Enterprise Networking Market to Reach $239.92B by 2032 at 10.1% CAGR

Delray Beach – November 02, 2026 -- The global enterprise networking market will grow to USD 239.92 billion by 2032 from USD 134.59 billion in 2026, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.1%, according to a MarketsandMarkets forecast. The market was valued at USD 124.59 billion in 2025.

Networking software and wireless connectivity grow faster than the overall market

By offering, networking software is expected to post the highest CAGR at 12.4%. By connection type, wireless is the fastest-growing segment at 12.0% CAGR. Both outpace the 10.1% market-wide rate.

By network type, data center networks are pegged as the fastest-growing segment. Campus networks are expected to hold the largest market share through the forecast period. Demand there comes from enterprise campuses, offices, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and industrial environments. Campus buyers are adopting Wi-Fi 6/6E and Wi-Fi 7, Ethernet switching, software-defined networking (SDN), network access control and AI-powered network management.

By end user, the enterprise segment is expected to record the highest growth rate. MarketsandMarkets cites cloud applications, hybrid work models, IoT devices and AI-driven operations as the drivers. Spending is directed at wireless LAN, SD-WAN, campus networks and network security.

Asia Pacific is projected to post the highest regional CAGR

MarketsandMarkets attributes the regional lead to digital transformation, expanding cloud infrastructure, rising adoption of 5G and Wi-Fi, and data center investment in China, India, Japan, South Korea and Australia. Government programs for digitalization, smart cities and industrial automation add to demand. Enterprises in the region are also adopting AI-driven network management, automation and zero-trust security.

Cisco, HPE, Huawei and Arista Networks are expanding their networking portfolios in the region, the report states.

Cisco and HPE acquisitions shift spending toward software and AI-native networking

The report describes a shift from hardware-centric products to integrated, software-driven and AI-enabled platforms. Buyers are moving to cloud-managed networks, subscription-based services and AI-powered monitoring to cut operational complexity.

Cisco completed its acquisition of Splunk in 2024 to add security, observability and data analytics capabilities. MarketsandMarkets says the integration combines networking with those functions and opens integrated software and services revenue. HPE completed its acquisition of Juniper Networks in July 2025, adding to its AI-native networking and cloud-managed infrastructure portfolio.

Investment is increasingly directed toward AI-driven networking, SDN, secure access service edge (SASE) and high-speed data center connectivity.

Vendor field spans US, Israeli, Chinese, European and Australian players

The report's top-company list includes Cisco Systems, HPE, Huawei Technologies, Broadcom, Fortinet, Arista Networks, Extreme Networks, Cloudflare, Check Point Software Technologies and Palo Alto Networks. It also names Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (France), Cato Networks (Israel), Megaport (Australia), Peplink (Hong Kong), Lavelle Networks (India) and Open Systems (Switzerland). According to the report, these vendors are pursuing partnerships, agreements, collaborations, product launches and acquisitions to widen their footprint.
