Hauppauge – November 02, 2026 -- SightMD, an ophthalmic group with 38 locations across New York, has added cornea specialist Brittany M. Perzia, MD, to its Yonkers office, where she is now seeing patients.

Dr. Perzia specializes in Cornea & External Disease and Comprehensive Ophthalmology. Her clinical interests include corneal disease, ocular surface disorders, complex anterior segment conditions and cataracts. She provides both medical and surgical eye care.

Perzia trained at Yale and SUNY Stony Brook before joining SightMD

Dr. Perzia completed her ophthalmology residency at Yale University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at SUNY Stony Brook and graduated as Valedictorian from Boston College. Her honors include the Yale Academic Excellence Award and induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Perzia's research covers corneal disease and ocular oncology

Dr. Perzia has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international ophthalmology meetings. Her work has focused on corneal disease, ocular oncology, infectious eye disease and anterior segment disorders.

SightMD New York recruits physicians and practice owners
