BERKELEY HEIGHTS – – November 02, 2026 -- New York City-based social wellness brand Bathhouse opens its first New Jersey location on November 5, 2026. The 20,000-square-foot, four-level site anchors The Park, a 185-acre mixed-use campus undergoing a $500 million repositioning.

Bathhouse builds four indoor pools, two saunas and a steam room on one site

The facility includes salt, hot, cold and neutral indoor pools, two saunas and a steam room. A year-round "Nordic spa" style deck adds a rooftop sauna and three outdoor pools (hot, cold, neutral). It is open daily from 8am to 11:30pm, and reservations are now being accepted.

Co-Founder Jason Goodman said the brand set out to make sauna culture part of everyday life. He named locals, professionals and travelers as the target users.

Bathhouse takes a slot in the 60-acre District Drive core

The site sits within District Drive, The Park's 60-acre walkable downtown. Neighbors include Boschetto, Grain & Cane, Starbucks, Four Spoons Ice Cream Company, Doner Shack, Prime IV Hydration & Wellness, Emberside Brewery and BASH's MODO Hi-Fi Listening Bar.

District Drive is slated to include 328 apartments and 160,000 square feet of restaurant and entertainment retail. The wider campus already has a 176-room Embassy Suites Hotel, a 112,000-square-foot Lifetime Fitness center and more than 1.5 million square feet of office space.

Shane Connell, Executive Vice President of The Connell Company, said Bathhouse adds a wellness dimension alongside the campus's dining, hospitality, fitness and entertainment tenants. The Park was formerly known as Connell Corporate Park.

Brand grows to five locations since 2019 Williamsburg debut

Bathhouse opened its first location in Williamsburg in 2019. Its footprint now spans Williamsburg, Flatiron, Atlantic Avenue, Philadelphia and New Jersey.
