Sunnyvale – November 02, 2026 -- Sedin Technologies, developer of the EAM360 mobile platform for IBM Maximo, won the 'Excellence in Maintenance Management' award at MaximoWorld 2026 after migrating five resorts onto a single IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) instance with zero downtime to live operations.
Five siloed resort sites moved to one global MAS SaaS instance
The award follows a MAS migration and full EAM360 rollout for a billion-dollar hospitality brand headquartered in Las Vegas, with sites across Asia-Pacific. The program covered five integrated resorts operating 24/7 and consolidated them onto one global IBM MAS SaaS instance.
Go-live ran in phased waves with a six-hour cutover. EAM360 reached a frontline workforce of more than 3,000 multilingual users.
Sedin, client and IBM tackled database conversion and tight downtime windows
The three parties aligned on planning, execution and risk mitigation. They worked through database conversion, narrow downtime windows, large-scale data movement and integration reconfiguration. Sedin reports improved system reliability, scalability and operational efficiency, without publishing specific metrics.
Arul Varadarajan, Managing Partner and EAM Practice Head at Sedin, said: "Most migrations end at go-live. We treat it as the starting line." He said the team cleaned up years of inconsistent data and redesigned maintenance workflows across sites.
Offline-first EAM360 apps extend Maximo to iOS and Android field staff
EAM360 offers native, offline-first mobile apps for technicians, inspectors, storekeepers and managers on iOS and Android. The apps integrate with Maximo and include AI-driven assistance. Sedin says they help asset-intensive organizations improve data accuracy and reduce downtime.
Sedin's Maximo practice has 11 certified professionals covering MAS modernization, integrations and managed services.
