Arevon's Five California Solar Plants Hit 10 Years at 544 MWdc

Scottsdale – November 02, 2026 -- Five Arevon Energy solar projects in California with a combined 544 MWdc of capacity have reached 10 years of operations, generating enough electricity to power more than 158,000 homes and contributing over $44 million in lifetime property tax payments.

The projects are Henrietta Solar, Kingbird A Solar, Kingbird B Solar, Nicolis Solar and Stateline Solar. All have supplied power to California communities since 2016. Arevon also marked a decade of operations at its 344 MWdc Moapa Solar Project in Clark County, Nevada, and held a celebration with project stakeholders in September.

Projects avoid 492,000 metric tons of CO2 and save nearly 12 billion gallons of water a year

Arevon estimates the five California projects avoid 492,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. They also conserve nearly 12 billion gallons of water each year, which the company links to rising electricity demand and drought conditions in the state.

Kern, Kings and San Bernardino county sites generated nearly 600 construction jobs

The projects are located in Kern, Kings and San Bernardino counties in Southern California. Nearly 600 jobs were created during construction, and property tax payments over the life of the projects exceed $44 million.

CEO Justin Johnson called the 10-year mark a "testament to the teams who have operated them safely and reliably." He said Arevon plans to keep developing energy infrastructure across the state.

Arevon operates more than 4 GW in California and is building a 250 MW storage project in Daly City

Arevon has more than 4 GW in operation in California. Recent start-ups include the Nighthawk, Peregrine and Condor energy storage projects, the two-phase Eland Solar-plus-Storage Project and the Vikings Solar-plus-Storage Project. The 250 MW Cormorant Energy Storage Project is under construction in Daly City.

Nationally, the company owns and operates more than 6.3 GW of solar and storage across 18 states and is building 370 MW of new capacity. It has also partnered with local utilities to develop and build 480 MW of solar.

Condor, Vikings and Eland win industry awards while Nighthawk and Eland reach S&P Global finals

Condor won Proximo's North America Storage Deal of the Year Award. Vikings won IJGlobal's Renewables Deal of the Year – Energy Storage Award and Proximo's North American Deals of the Year Award. Eland received highly commended recognition in the 2026 Reuters Events Clean Power Generation Award.

Eland and Nighthawk are finalists in the S&P Global Platts 2026 Global Energy Awards, in the Infrastructure Project of the Year and Energy Deal of the Year categories, respectively. Arevon also ranked No. 1 among California developers in Solar Power World's 2026 Top Solar Contractors List.
