RideLot Launches Powersports Inventory Platform With $0 Entry Pricing

Grand Junction, Colo. – November 02, 2026 -- RideLot Technologies launched an inventory intelligence platform for powersports and specialty vehicle dealers, offering qualifying dealers 12 months of price-history recordkeeping and Facebook Marketplace listing tools at no added software charge, with a $0 setup fee.

The platform connects to the inventory feed a dealership already sends from its DMS or feed provider. It normalizes each unit into a record that drives shopper search, websites, storefronts, marketplace distribution, marketing and dealer analytics. Dealers keep their existing website, DMS, CRM, phone numbers and lead routing.

"Dealers do not need another system asking them to replace everything they already use," said James Wells, founder and CEO, who co-founded the company with Nick Citrola.

RideSpec search handles plain-language queries in English and Spanish

RideSpec, the platform's natural language search, interprets queries such as "side by side that seats six" or "used motorcycle under $10,000." It returns matching machines with an explanation of why each matched. Dealers can embed it in their current website through RideLot Inventory Finder.

Available to Order extends search beyond units on the floor

Supported factory-orderable models can appear next to in-stock units and are labeled separately from physical inventory. Multi-rooftop dealer groups can connect authorized inventory across locations, so a shopper who cannot find a machine at one store is directed to another.

Dealer tools cover marketing, feed quality and demand data

RideLot Dealer Intelligence shows which searches returned no matching inventory and which machines drew little engagement. Feed Health flags units with missing pricing, photos or merchandising data. Marketing Studio builds creative from live inventory records. SEO Inventory Pages generate crawlable pages by category, brand and individual machine.

Dealer Transfer lets participating dealers search other participating dealers' inventory, from nearby markets to nationwide, and request machines. Marketplace Listings prepares a Facebook Marketplace post in under 30 seconds. The salesperson reviews it and publishes it from a personal Facebook account, and RideLot monitors the feed for sold units and price changes. RideLot Showroom adds a kiosk with RideSpec search and supported bilingual voice interaction.

Price Record targets tightening advertising and recordkeeping scrutiny

In September 2026, Federal Trade Commission staff published automobile pricing guidance reiterating that an advertised price should reflect what a consumer can actually pay, including dealer-required fees other than government charges. California's CARS Act took effect Oct. 1, 2026 for covered dealers and transactions. It addresses total price disclosure and requires covered dealers to retain certain advertising and pricing records for two years.

RideLot Price Record keeps a history of advertised prices that RideLot records or displays. The company states it is not legal advice and does not determine compliance.

Two further tools are dealer-only. MAP Policy Checker compares eligible inventory against OEM MAP information loaded into the platform and flags potential advertised-price issues for review. Recalls reads public CPSC and NHTSA notices daily and matches them to inventory by brand, model and model year. Matches appear as a Possible Recall that the dealer must verify by VIN in its OEM system, since RideLot does not determine VIN-level recall status.

Launch offer waives setup fees and includes three Marketplace seats

RideLot Marketplace starts at $0 per month for qualifying dealers. During the Initial Launch offer, qualifying Marketplace and Dealer Suite accounts receive 12 months of Price Record and up to three Marketplace Listings seats, plus a $0 setup fee. Subscriptions are billed monthly with no long-term commitment.
