Denton, Texas – November 02, 2026 -- Denton residents can now reserve memberships at the upcoming Crunch Rayzor Ranch for as little as $9.99 per month, with $0 enrollment fees during presale. The $12 million gym is a ground-up build at 3320 Heritage Trail. No opening date has been announced beyond "soon."
A two-story gym debuts the Crunch 3.0 design
The 37,038-square-foot facility spans two stories plus a mezzanine. It sits in the Rayzor Ranch neighborhood of North Denton, centered on the intersection of Interstate 35 and State Highway 380. It will be the first club to feature the new Crunch 3.0 design, which pairs modern aesthetics with enhanced functionality.
The floor plan covers strength, cardio and recovery
Members get expanded strength and functional training areas, plus cardio and strength equipment. Olympic lifting platforms, personal training and half-hour power circuit training are also on the list.
Class options include Ride cycling, advanced HIIT, TRX, a Hot Studio and a Group Fitness studio. Two zones have indoor turf: a functional HIITZone training area and a Stretching Zone. There is also an Abs & Glutes area and a Relax & Recover space. Locker rooms are full-service, with showers and a dry sauna.
Founding members get a free T-shirt and training discounts
The presale runs through the club's website. The first 500 founding members receive a free T-shirt and exclusive discounts on small group and personal training. Select membership options carry additional savings.
Southwest Fitness Holdings runs 15 Dallas-Fort Worth gyms
Franchisee Southwest Fitness Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of CR Fitness, operates the club. It currently runs 15 Crunch gyms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with five more coming in Arizona. It is on track to operate nearly 20 in Texas by the end of 2026.
Parent company CR Fitness Holdings serves more than one million members. It is on track for 110 locations by the end of 2026 across Florida, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Arizona and Tennessee. CR Fitness Holdings CEO Tony Scrimale said the Denton club is a milestone for the Southwest Franchise Division, which aims to bring "a premium fitness experience" at an affordable price.
Crunch Fitness ranked #2 in the fitness category and #20 overall in the Entrepreneur Franchise 500, up from #32 last year.
The Denton club will create more than 70 jobs across personal training, group fitness, sales and operations.
