Sterling, Virginia – November 02, 2026 -- REI Systems has activated its Category B contract (80TECH-26-D0403) under NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI Governmentwide Acquisition Contract, giving the employee-owned firm access to a vehicle with a $20 billion ceiling per contract.
SEWP VI opens a 10-year ordering window on November 1, 2026
NASA awarded REI the contract in June 2026. The ordering period runs 10 years from November 1, 2026, split into a five-year base and a five-year option. The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity vehicle is designed to streamline federal purchasing of advanced technology solutions and services. REI can now compete for enterprise-wide IT opportunities across federal agencies.
REI will pitch AI, data, cloud and cybersecurity services to agencies
Under Category B, REI will offer systems integration and AI, enterprise data orchestration and analytics, cloud and application modernization, cybersecurity and DevSecOps. The company says these services target legacy environment upgrades, disparate system integration and operational streamlining.
Co-founder and CEO Shyam Salona said agencies need "faster, simpler ways to acquire comprehensive solutions" and that SEWP VI lets REI combine its enterprise IT, AI-enabled and integration capabilities in one offering.
NASA relationship dates to REI's 1989 founding contract
REI began in 1989 with a single NASA contract. It now has more than 36 years of experience supporting government missions and is 100% employee-owned. SEWP VI extends that NASA relationship into a governmentwide contracting channel.
