Nuvation Bio to Present Four Safusidenib Posters at SNO 2026

NEW YORK – November 02, 2026 -- Nuvation Bio (NYSE: NUVB) will present four posters on safusidenib, its investigational mutant IDH1 inhibitor, at the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) Annual Meeting in Philadelphia on November 12-15, 2026. One poster carries updated long-term Phase 2 J201 results that go beyond the topline data the company announced in July 2026.

Three trial-in-progress posters cover ongoing safusidenib studies

The other three posters give overviews of ongoing safusidenib trials. Nuvation Bio will staff Booth #126 at the meeting and plans to post the materials in the Publications section of its website after the presentations.

CEO David Hung said patients with IDH1-mutant glioma are often diagnosed in their 30s and 40s and need targeted treatments with "durable responses."

Phase 3 SIGMA study targets about 300 patients in its pivotal portion

SIGMA (G203) is a pivotal Phase 3 study comparing safusidenib with placebo as maintenance therapy after standard of care in IDH1-mutant astrocytoma with high-risk features. A separate exploratory, non-pivotal cohort will enroll about 40 patients with grade 3 IDH1-mutant oligodendroglioma who have not yet received chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Its primary endpoint is objective response rate.

Nuvation Bio is also running the Phase 3 G307 study in regions where vorasidenib is not yet approved or accessible. The Phase 2 G209 study covers patients whose cancer has progressed on vorasidenib.

FDA granted Fast Track Designation in August 2026

The FDA granted safusidenib Fast Track Designation for IDH1-mutant glioma in August 2026. In Phase 1 and Phase 2 studies, the oral, brain-penetrant compound showed delayed disease progression and durable responses across tumor grades and risk groups, according to the company.

Nearly 2,500 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with IDH-mutant gliomas each year, and more than 95% of those tumors carry an IDH1 mutation. Gliomas are not currently curable.
