Wyndham adds 40+ HotelREZ luxury hotels to Registry Collection

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – November 02, 2026 -- Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will add more than 40 luxury independent hotels to its Registry Collection Hotels brand by early next year under a new partnership with HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts, operator of Elegant Hotels of the World. More properties are to follow.

The deal gives approximately 129 million enrolled Wyndham Rewards members new ways to earn and redeem points at boutique and luxury properties. Registry Collection currently spans more than 30 hotels across nine countries, including the Bristol Panama in Panama City and the Balfour Miami Beach in Miami.

Elegant member hotels plug into Wyndham sales, marketing and distribution

Over the coming months, the 40-plus Elegant members will integrate into Registry Collection's sales, marketing and distribution channels. Many are small boutiques averaging 20 to 50 rooms. Further additions depend on brand fit, owner participation and onboarding requirements.

The hotels remain members of Elegant Hotels of the World while joining Wyndham Rewards. Owners keep full control of ownership, operations and brand identity.

Among the first properties joining are:

  • Rosselli AX Privilege in Valletta, Malta, which holds a MICHELIN Key for the hotel, a MICHELIN Star for Under Grain and a Bib Gourmand for Grain Street.
  • The TownHouse Mykonos in Greece, an adults-only hotel that retained its MICHELIN Key in the 2026 selection.
  • Galgorm Resort near Belfast, an AA Five-Star property on 550 acres.
  • TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao in Koh Yao Noi, Thailand.
  • Cinco Quintas Hotel Boutique in Cartagena, Colombia, newly awarded One MICHELIN Key in 2026.
  • Roe Valley Resort near Derry/Londonderry, a four-star resort on 155 acres.
Wyndham opens its technology stack to HotelREZ's Best Loved Hotels

The companies are also launching a flexible model later this year for properties in HotelREZ's Best Loved Hotels, a curated collection of upscale independents. Participants get selective access to Wyndham's AI-powered tools, Wyndham Connect and Wyndham AI Concierge (formerly Wyndham Connect PLUS), as well as its third-party distribution platform.

Mark Lewis, Group CEO of HotelREZ, said the partnership is about "unlocking commercial opportunities" for member hotels.

Scott Strickland, Wyndham's Chief Commercial Officer, said members increasingly want points to cover occasions such as destination weddings and milestone celebrations. The expansion targets that demand with a broader range of luxury destinations.

Wyndham pitches cloud platform and AI booking channels to owners

Wyndham describes itself as the first major hotel company to operate on a fully cloud-based technology platform. It is also expanding how guests discover and book travel through dedicated experiences within Claude, ChatGPT and, most recently, Google Gemini.
