Appointments follow a year of record growth. Covera now serves five of the Fortune 50, including the nation's largest private employer, and three of the five largest national health plans, and is preparing to launch more new employers than it served in total a year ago. Travis and Livianu bring deep experience in radiology, healthcare strategy, corporate development and legal governance as the company scales.

NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Covera Health, the platform for advancing radiology quality and diagnostic accuracy, today announced two additions to its executive leadership team: Jeremy Livianu as Chief Legal Officer and Adam Travis, MD, as General Manager, Imaging Strategy & Growth. The appointments follow the fastest growth in the company's history and will help Covera expand its national imaging network, advance its AI clinical programs, and deliver diagnostic quality at scale for the employers and health plans adopting its platform.

In 2026, the number of large self-insured employers choosing Covera more than doubled, and covered lives at those employers grew more than 50 percent. Over the past year Covera was selected by a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company, one of the nation's largest airlines, a global hospitality company and a leading Midwest retailer, among others, with launches beginning in January. On the health plan side, two national plans and two major accountable care organizations came on board, and Covera's AI early detection program reviewed nearly 2 million patient studies in a single year, with its deepest coverage in Michigan, New Jersey and Texas. Covera now supports nearly 6 million lives, up from 2.5 million three years ago, across a network of more than 6,500 imaging sites.

Employers and health plans are buying for two reasons. The first is where a patient gets their imaging study. Covera measures the accuracy of radiologists and imaging centers, working with radiologists inside its federally certified Patient Safety Organization, and guides members to the best of them at the point of prior authorization. At recent launches, 30 to 40 percent of members chose a designated center with no change to their benefits, usually at freestanding sites that cost far less than hospital imaging. The second is what happens after the study. AI screens high-impact studies, a radiologist confirms any finding, and the result goes to the treating physician. For health plans, that means serious illness caught earlier. For employers, it means catching the report that would otherwise send a patient toward unnecessary surgery or additional imaging they never needed. Together, the two deliver actuarially validated downstream savings of up to 12 percent, and with this year's combination with Medmo, a finding becomes an appointment with the right physician.

"There's a shortage of radiologists and more imaging every year, and the result is quality that varies in ways employers and health plans can't see," said Ron Vianu, CEO and co-founder of Covera Health. "When the first study is wrong, all the care built on it is wrong too, and the patient lives with the consequences. Healthcare has never had a way to measure that quality at scale and reward the people delivering it. We built one, employers and health plans are buying it, and the demand is now ahead of us. The next phase of Covera is taking this from 6 million lives to 25 million and beyond, and Adam and Jeremy have the skills to get us there. That's why they're here."

Adam Travis, MD: Expanding Access to High-Quality Imaging Nationwide

Adam Travis will join Covera on November 17th as General Manager, Imaging Strategy & Growth, leading the company's strategy to expand imaging access and build durable partnerships with radiology providers, health systems, and other healthcare organizations nationwide.

A board-certified radiologist turned healthcare executive, Travis brings more than a decade of experience spanning clinical medicine, corporate strategy, product leadership, business development, and general management. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Raven, the venture incubation platform of RA Capital Management, where he evaluated and helped develop new healthcare services and technology businesses.

Previously, Travis held senior leadership positions at Teladoc Health, including Vice President of Corporate Strategy, where he helped shape the company's long-term strategic direction, investment priorities, and business portfolio. He also held leadership roles at Livongo and Clarify Health Solutions, where he led clinical strategy, product management, and provider solutions. Earlier in his career, he was a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group and practiced diagnostic radiology after completing his residency at the University of Chicago.

At Covera, Travis will oversee the strategy and execution of the company's national imaging access expansion, including provider partnerships, health system relationships, and the economic models that support long-term collaboration. His work will be central to connecting more patients with high-quality imaging and expanding the reach of Covera's quality-driven programs.

"I've spent the last 10+ years, since leaving practice, building companies working to improve access to the highest value care, and what Covera is doing toward that aim is unique and getting results," said Travis. "They're the first to scale a model for evaluating and rewarding high-quality radiology in a way that is proven and trusted by radiologists themselves, and that can lower overall medical costs for employers and health insurers. I look forward to leading the next phase of growth of our network and facilitating access to the highest-value radiology care for even more people nationwide."

"Adam has done the work as a radiologist, reading studies off a worklist, and he has run businesses in healthcare. Not many people have done both," said Vianu. "The practices and health systems we work with are deciding whether to trust us with their data and their reputations, and now they're having that conversation with one of their own. That's what the next phase of our network needs. Adam's job is to make high-quality imaging more accessible, in more places, to more people."

Jeremy Livianu: Building the Legal and Governance Foundation for Long-Term Growth

Jeremy Livianu has joined Covera as Chief Legal Officer, bringing more than two decades of experience advising and leading healthcare and life sciences companies through periods of growth, transformation, and complex corporate transactions.

Most recently, Livianu served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Homeward, where he helped lead the legal strategy surrounding its combination with Cityblock Health and supported the development of an AI-enabled healthcare platform. Previously, he held senior legal leadership positions at UpHealth, Cutera, Establishment Labs, and Nevro, with experience spanning corporate governance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and commercial operations.

Throughout his career, Livianu has helped healthcare and medical technology companies navigate major strategic milestones, including public offerings, capital raises, corporate restructurings, and global expansion. His background combines the legal and regulatory expertise required in healthcare with a practical understanding of how to support innovation and business growth.

As Chief Legal Officer, Livianu will lead Covera's legal strategy, corporate governance, compliance, and commercial contracting functions. Working closely with the executive leadership team, he will help establish the scalable legal and operational frameworks necessary to support Covera's continued expansion, strategic partnerships, and increasingly complex healthcare ecosystem.

"What drew me to Covera is the pace and the complexity of what it's building," said Livianu. "Partnerships with the largest employers and health plans in the country, a national provider network, and AI in clinical use, all at once. That takes a legal and governance foundation that lets the company move fast without taking on risk it doesn't understand. I've helped build that at companies going through this kind of growth, and I'm very excited to do it here."

"A Covera contract used to have two parties in it. Now it often has a health plan, an employer, a TPA, a UM vendor and an ACO, plus the radiology practices doing the work, and every one of them is trusting us with something," said Vianu. "Jeremy has taken healthcare companies through public offerings and mergers. He knows how to build the structure that lets a company move fast without getting careless, and that's what this phase needs."

Building the Leadership Team for Covera's Next Chapter

Travis and Livianu join a leadership team built for scale over the past year, alongside Chief Clinical Officer Evan Raff, MD, MHA, who joined earlier this year, and the Medmo team. Together they bring the clinical, technology, commercial and governance expertise to make diagnostic quality a measurable foundation of better healthcare.

"Every important decision in healthcare starts with getting the diagnosis right," added Vianu. "Employers and health plans figured that out faster than anyone, and more of them are partnering with us to fix it every quarter. Our job is to deliver for every one of them at scale, and Adam and Jeremy make us better at it."

QA FAIL (need review): The TARGET states Jeremy Livianu brings '20 years of healthcare legal experience,' but the SOURCE says he brings 'more than two decades' of experience. '20 years' is not a sensible rounding of 'more than two decades' (which implies greater than 20), making the claim factually inaccurate.
