LONDON – November 02, 2026 -- SimCorp has appointed Fiona O'Donnell, a State Street executive with more than 18 years of client-transformation experience, to the newly created role of Chief Delivery Officer, placing client delivery under one accountable executive for the first time at the company.
O'Donnell joins the Executive Committee and reports to CEO Peter Sanderson
The appointment is effective immediately. O'Donnell will lead SimCorp's global delivery organization from London. Her remit runs from a new client's first onboarding through every subsequent year of service.
SimCorp cited increased demand for its SimCorp One platform as the driver for the role. Its clients are asset managers, asset owners and insurers running global, multi-asset operations and modernizing their operating models.
One executive now covers both new SimCorp One go-lives and decades-long clients
SimCorp said the mandate applies equally to institutions going live on SimCorp One this year and to those that have run their investment businesses on SimCorp for decades. The stated goal is to help clients realize value faster while maintaining delivery quality.
Sanderson said O'Donnell will be "the one leader accountable for client delivery end to end." He linked clear accountability to SimCorp's ambition to be the first choice for global investment management solutions.
O'Donnell brings State Street and ABN Amro experience in multi-year programs
Most recently, O'Donnell was Client Executive and Senior Vice President at State Street Corporation. There she was the senior executive personally accountable to strategic clients through complex, multi-year transformation programs. Earlier in her career she worked at ABN Amro Bank.
She has led large, global delivery teams and worked with many of the world's largest asset owners and managers. SimCorp is a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group.
