Essen/Mülheim an der Ruhr – November 02, 2026 -- Starting November 2, ALDI is permanently lowering prices on more than 40 baking products and a range of household items, with savings of up to €1.04 per article.

It is the fifth permanent price cut in a row this autumn. The cuts cover baking ingredients, packaged and fresh baked goods, and everyday household items such as trash bags and cling film.

Baking ingredients get cheaper under the BACK FAMILY label

Several own-brand baking basics see noticeable reductions:

• BACK FAMILY chocolate shavings (75/100 g): €0.99, down from €1.59 (−60 cents)
• BACK FAMILY chocolate sprinkles (400 g): €2.49, down from €2.99 (−50 cents)
• TRADER JOE´S/NATURLIEBLINGE dried apricots (200 g): €1.99, down from €2.49 (−50 cents)
• BACK FAMILY dry baking yeast (6 x 7 g): €0.49, down from €0.69 (−20 cents)
• Fairtrade brown cane sugar (500 g): €1.29, down from €1.49 (−20 cents)
• BACK FAMILY baking powder (10 x 15 g): €0.45, down from €0.55 (−10 cents)

BACK FAMILY chocolate drops/chunks (100 g) now cost €0.99, and GOLDÄHREN breadcrumbs (1,000 g) cost €1.49.

Household items see the biggest single drop

The largest saving is on POWER FORCE disposable gloves (100 pieces): €6.95 instead of €7.99, a drop of €1.04. This item is available only regionally at ALDI SÜD.

Other POWER FORCE items include:

• Wet all-purpose wipes (80 pieces): €0.99, down from €1.49
• Scented trash bags (35 l/30 pieces): €1.49, down from €1.79
• Cling film (75 m): €0.79, down from €0.99
• Trash bags (25 l/50 pieces): €0.99, down from €1.15

Packaged and fresh baked goods drop by 4 to 20 cents

Among packaged items, MEINE KUCHENWELT French chocolate rolls (360 g) now cost €1.79 instead of €1.99. GOLDÄHREN protein bread (500 g) is €1.79, down from €1.99. GOLDÄHREN Kaiser rolls (220 g) fall to €0.69 from €0.79.

In the fresh bakery range, the MEIN BESTES/MEINE BACKWELT butter pretzel corner costs €0.79 instead of €0.85. MEINE BACKWELT pain au chocolat is €0.59, down from €0.65, and MEIN BESTES Franzbrötchen (114 g) is €0.75, down from €0.79. Walnut rolls (85 g) are priced at €0.55.

Some items are limited to one chain or region

Availability varies. Several products are sold only at ALDI SÜD, including the organic bourbon vanilla extract preparation (50 ml, €2.49) and the MEINE KUCHENWELT mini donuts (162 g, €1.79). Others, such as the POWER FORCE organic compost bags (10 l/20 pieces, €1.19), are available only regionally at ALDI Nord.

ALDI cites the Kundenmonitor 2026, in which it was named price winner among discounters for the 17th time in a row.
