YeePay Pitches Real-Time B2B Order Payments to Airlines at IATA Macau

Macau – November 02, 2026 -- YeePay told the IATA Payment Services Forum that payment costs across the global aviation industry reach USD 22 billion a year, with transaction fees and operating expenses consuming nearly half of airlines' profit per passenger.

YeePay co-founder Yu Chen presents China's airline B2B payment model

Yu Chen, Co-Founder of YeePay, gave a presentation titled "China's Unique Airline B2B Order Payment Ecosystem" at the 2026 IATA WFS & WPS, held October 28-29 at the Galaxy International Convention Center. He covered industry challenges in the New Distribution Capability (NDC) era and compared airline payment models across global markets. He also outlined the wider potential of B2B order payments for aviation.

Order-level processing replaces advance payments and delayed settlement

YeePay's account-based solution processes payments in real time for each individual order. It provides complete transaction data and automated foreign exchange conversion. According to the company, transactions complete without advance payments or delayed settlement. The model covers the full order lifecycle: payments, refunds, ticket changes and ancillary services.

Network spans more than 200 countries and regions and over 100 currencies

YeePay says the product draws on more than 20 years of work in the aviation and travel sector. It targets the international collection and payout needs of airlines, online travel agencies (OTAs) and travel agents. The company lists flexible settlement across multiple banks, regulatory compliance, risk management and improved cash flow among its features.

The company positions the solution for international airlines adopting NDC-based distribution, particularly those expanding into markets with foreign exchange controls. YeePay is seeking partnerships with low-cost and full-service carriers to address cross-border settlement, order reconciliation and cost control. It also aims to open capital channels covering the Chinese distribution market.
