Oceanside – November 01, 2026 -- Semper Fi & America's Fund has launched its 15th annual Double Down for Veterans Match Campaign with a $20 million fundraising goal, backed by a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $10 million from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf).
Match applies to all donations through December 31, 2026
Every donation to the Fund is matched until the campaign closes on December 31, 2026. The Parsons Foundation and PXG provide the match, which is capped at $10 million. The target of $20 million therefore equals the full match plus an equal amount in donor gifts.
Campaign has raised nearly $275 million since 2012
Since its start in 2012, the campaign has generated nearly $275 million for the Fund's mission. Of that total, $118 million came from Parsons Foundation match gifts. Thousands of donors nationwide supplied the remainder.
Record 5,600 service members received first-time support in FY 2026
The Fund supported 5,600 service members for the first time in fiscal year 2026, the highest annual figure since its founding in 2004. The Fund cites this as evidence of continuing demand in the military community.
The Fund also reports that veterans engaged with it for three or more years are 70-80% less likely to face substance abuse, housing insecurity, suicidal ideation and anxiety.
Fund has delivered nearly $600 million in aid since 2004
Since 2004, the Fund has provided nearly $600 million in grants, programs and services. These have assisted more than 45,000 service members and veterans and 100,000 family members.
Founder and CEO Karen Guenther said the partnership with the Parsons family allows the Fund to respond when needs arise, "tomorrow, five years from now, or decades from now."
Bob Parsons, a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran and founder of PXG, said service members should know they will not be forgotten. Renee Parsons, co-founder of the Foundation, pointed to the thousands of donors who take part in the campaign each year.
