Vertiv Teams With Dow and Solenis on AI Liquid Cooling Offer

COLUMBUS – October 31, 2026 -- Vertiv (NYSE: VRT) has launched a global ecosystem offering that combines an expanded collaboration with Dow and a new partnership with Solenis to manage liquid cooling as a single, integrated thermal system for AI-scale data centers.

The initiative pairs Vertiv's infrastructure, monitoring and global service capabilities with fluid chemistry, coolant and water treatment expertise from the two partners. Dow supplies advanced coolant technologies, while Solenis contributes specialty chemicals and water treatment solutions.

Vertiv extends Dow Coolant Care Network collaboration and adds Solenis

Vertiv expanded its work with Dow through the Dow Coolant Care Network and started a new partnership with Solenis to support end-to-end fluid management and thermal infrastructure services. Both are integrated with Vertiv's monitoring and lifecycle capabilities.

Vertiv argues that rising AI computing densities turn liquid cooling into a system-management challenge. Reliability now depends on the full thermal chain: heat rejection, chilled water infrastructure, facility and technology cooling loops, coolant distribution, fluid chemistry, filtration, leak detection, monitoring and controls.

Ron Bednar, Senior Vice President of Global and Americas Services at Vertiv, said operators need to manage thermal infrastructure, fluid health, monitoring and lifecycle service as one interconnected discipline to improve efficiency and uptime, reduce risk and extend equipment life.

Six service areas cover design, flushing, monitoring and fluid health

The three companies will support customers across six areas:

  • Design for compatibility across fluids, materials and infrastructure components.
  • Engineered flushing, precision filling, commissioning and filtration to keep systems clean.
  • Unified thermal visibility through the VertivTM Next Predict monitoring and analytics platform.
  • Continuous monitoring and integrated leak detection for early response.
  • Analytics and software to improve efficiency and water utilization.
  • Proactive fluid chemistry management across technical and facility water systems to extend equipment life and lower total cost of ownership.

Vertiv describes the result as a unified operating model for high-density liquid-cooled infrastructure.
