KUALA LUMPUR – October 31, 2026 -- ASEAN Records and ASIA Records presented Certificates of Appreciation to nine media partners at the 10th Gather of Achievers Gala Night 2026, held at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown.
Nine titles from six media groups receive certificates
Founders Gillian Ooi and Eldrick Koh handed a certificate to each partner. Tun Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka, and Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Datuk Mohamad bin Alamin witnessed the segment.

Record verifier cites 530-plus certified records and ISO 9001:2015 status
ASEAN Records Sdn Bhd and ASIA Records Sdn Bhd are independent Malaysian record-verification companies led by Koh and Ooi. Both hold ISO 9001:2015 certification from SGS. ASEAN Records covers achievements across Southeast Asia, while ASIA Records covers the Asian continent. Together they have certified more than 530 records.
The founders tied the recognition to the media's role in publicising certified achievements. "A certificate proves an achievement. The media is how the public comes to know about it," they said, adding that the partners carry record holders' stories to readers and viewers across the region.
