Kuala Lumpur – October 31, 2026 -- HeyStay Management has been recognised by ASEAN Records for operating the most kids-themed and play-equipped short-stay units of any single short-term rental management company, with 83 such units in a 353-unit portfolio.

The 83 units account for about 24% of the Malaysian operator's managed portfolio as of September 2026. They are fitted with slides, ball pits, arcade machines, pool tables or mini-playgrounds.

The company began operations in 2019 in Melaka and Kuala Lumpur. It has since added Genting Highlands, taking its managed portfolio to 353 units across the three destinations.

HeyStay Management provides property management solutions for owners and tenants. The play-equipped units extend its short-term rental offering to families as an alternative to conventional short-stay accommodation.

Founder Kim Tan accepts the ASEAN Records certificate at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur

The certificate was presented on 20 October 2026 at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, during the ASEAN Records Gala Night 2026. Kim Tan, Founder of HeyStay Management, received it on stage on behalf of the company's leadership and operational team.

Tan said the company has kept looking for ways to bring greater value to property owners since 2019, while making each stay "more memorable" for guests.
