Sentral Enters Fort Lauderdale, Adds 617-Unit Diega in San Diego

DENVER – October 30, 2026 -- Sentral, a full-building residential-hospitality operator, has taken on the 617-residence Diega in San Diego, its largest single addition this year, and entered Fort Lauderdale with the 259-residence Veneto Las Olas. The two additions bring the company to 22 U.S. markets.

Diega adds 617 residences across a full downtown San Diego block

Diega, at 702 Broadway, was developed by Bosa Development. It sits where the Core, East Village and Gaslamp Quarter meet. Its two colored-glass towers won an Orchid for interior design in the San Diego Architectural Foundation's 2025 Orchids and Onions program.

Amenities include a Sky Terrace pool and spa with cabanas, coworking space, lounges, a pet retreat and ground-floor retail. The South Tower lobby holds an interactive BASILE Studio installation of mechatronic trees that react to sound.

Veneto Las Olas opens Fort Lauderdale as Sentral's 22nd market

Veneto Las Olas, at 201 South Federal Highway, was developed by the Related Group. It has 259 residences across 44 floors, one block north of Las Olas Boulevard. Each residence has a private terrace with zoning-protected views of the Atlantic Ocean and the New River.

Interiors have 9- to 12-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling European cabinetry and waterfall-edge islands. A ninth-floor pool deck and wellness center are joined by a resident lounge, fitness center and theater on floors 25 and 26.

Owners cite hospitality-led operations as the selection criterion

Joey Ramos, Multi-Family Asset Manager at Veneto Las Olas, said the ownership group chose Sentral for its hospitality-driven approach and its record of delivering strong performance for owners.

CEO Roman Speron said the two properties "reflect the kind of growth we are pursuing." Sentral manages more than $7 billion in assets for institutional owners, spanning long-term residences and furnished stays.

The expansion coincides with the launch of a refreshed Sentral brand and a redesigned website that brings owners, residents, guests and corporate partners into one place.
