LUFKIN, Texas – October 30, 2026 -- Lemon Seed Marketing is connecting home service contractors with four industry partners (JB Warranties, Contractor Commerce, ReferPro and HARDI), extending its offering beyond branding and marketing into warranties, e-commerce, referral programs and trade resources.
Four partners cover retention, online sales, referrals and education
JB Warranties, described as a leading North American provider of extended warranties for HVAC, plumbing and electrical companies, offers flexible plans covering parts and labor repair costs for homeowners. The plans are aimed at improving contractor customer retention.
Contractor Commerce supplies digital commerce, transparent pricing and AI-guided estimating tools to improve the online buying experience for homeowners. ReferPro automates customer referral programs that pay cash-equivalent incentives, with the goal of lifting new-customer conversion rates.
Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI), a nonprofit trade organization, gives contractors access to HVACR education, benchmarking research and statistics, and networking opportunities.
Co-owner Williams says growth needs more than marketing
Crystal Williams, co-owner and lead strategist at Lemon Seed, said "sustainable growth requires more than just excellent marketing." Co-owner and branding director Emily Fleniken said the agency wants to be a comprehensive growth partner for contractors at every stage of their business.
Agency founded in 2020 by a contractor-family operator
Williams draws on her family's ownership of McWilliams Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. She and Fleniken launched Lemon Seed in 2020. The agency's podcast, "From the Yellow Chair," won ACHR News' HVAC All-Star Award, and Inc. Magazine gave the agency its Power Partner Award in 2025.
Lemon Seed describes the arrangement as reciprocal. Contractors get streamlined access to specialized tools and expertise, while partner organizations can extend Lemon Seed's creative strategy and marketing capabilities to the clients they serve.
