Shanghai – October 30, 2026 -- Huawei says its upgraded Smart NOS 5.0 solution lets AI agents autonomously resolve 80% of deterministic network faults. The company released the product alongside three other industry operations and maintenance (O&M) solutions at the Industry O&M Session of HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 at the Shanghai Expo Center.
All four solutions run on the MindOps platform, which combines digital twins and a domain-specific model to cover pre-event, in-process and post-event O&M through human-agent collaboration. Huawei also launched an initiative to develop the O&M Agent Research Report (2026).
Smart NOS 5.0 cuts hidden-risk incidents by 50%
The solution adds risk identification and fault governance agents to network emergency repair. Its financial fault diagnosis operational room supports collaborative consultation, reducing incident rates from hidden risks by 50%, according to Huawei. Cross-domain fault demarcation efficiency improves by 30%.
Exclusive Government Service 3.0 lifts resource usage by 17%
The e-Government cloud offering targets limited service awareness, complex cross-layer troubleshooting and underutilized resources. Intelligent resource query and emergency troubleshooting agents improve resource visibility and fault locating. A unified digital resource management platform streamlines approval workflows and duplicate project checks, raising resource usage by 17%.
Power solution shrinks fault demarcation from one hour to 15 minutes
Power Specific Service 3.0 and Transportation Specific Service 3.0 integrate fault diagnosis and FME Mate agents into MindOps. In the power sector, fault demarcation time falls from one hour to 15 minutes. The transportation solution improves cross-domain fault analysis and lifts O&M efficiency by 40%. Integrated O&M services also raise the availability and operational efficiency of smart highway systems.
