Fort Collins – October 30, 2026 -- Persistent Systems, LLC has bought the 30,600-square-foot Fuse Building in Fort Collins, Colorado, with financing from J.P. Morgan Commercial Banking, converting its regional headquarters from a leased site to an owned asset.
Persistent moves from tenant to owner after expanding its local team more than twofold since 2015
The company leased its first Fort Collins office in 2015, and its local team has since more than doubled. The purchase consolidates its Fort Collins operations at the Class A facility at 3528 Precision Drive. Persistent held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the site with Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO).
Founder and CEO Dr. Herbert Rubens called the purchase a long-term commitment to Colorado and its team. "After 19 years in business, we are just getting started," he said.
Field teams based at the building support the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson under NGC2
The building is a permanent base for field service and program teams supporting U.S. Air Force missions and the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado, as part of the Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) effort. NGC2 aims to link every command level, from division headquarters to the individual Soldier, on a single data network.
Field service engineers, customer support specialists and program managers based at the site deploy regularly to Fort Carson and work alongside 4th Infantry Division Soldiers.
Wave Relay MANET carries data, voice and video as the transport layer for the division's network
Persistent's Wave Relay MANET is the transport layer for the 4th Infantry Division's NGC2 network. The self-forming, self-healing network is designed to operate under high mobility without towers or fixed infrastructure. It carries data, voice and video between Soldiers, command posts, unmanned systems and sensors.
The two-story steel facility sits on 1.6 acres in Harmony Technology Park
The Fuse Building lies along the Harmony Corridor in Northern Colorado's technology sector, just over a mile from Interstate 25. Brinkman Construction designed and built it as its own headquarters. It houses Persistent's field service, customer support, program management and engineering staff.
Persistent says ownership gives it the space and stability to keep expanding its Colorado teams as its work with the Army and Air Force grows.
