Ekinops, Orange Business Target Scope 3 Emissions in Joint Plan

PARIS – October 30, 2026 -- Ekinops (Euronext Paris: EKI) has joined Orange Business in a decarbonization plan aimed at the Scope 3 emissions that made up 81% of Orange Business's carbon footprint last year. The plan supports Orange Group's goal of reaching Net-Zero emissions by 2040.

Equipment and customer use account for 43% of Orange Business emissions

The 81% Scope 3 share came from equipment purchases, customer equipment use, services and other purchases. Equipment and customer use alone made up 43%. The plan targets these areas first with Ekinops and is meant to pave the way for collaboration with other suppliers.

It aligns Orange Business with Orange Group's 'Trust the Future' strategy, which builds growth around trust, innovation and sustainability.

Ekinops commits to product footprint measurement and design changes

Ekinops will continue to improve how it measures the carbon footprint of its products. It will identify reduction opportunities in manufacturing, usage and logistics, and track environmental performance over time. The company will also assess energy use across product configurations and design modular, repairable and recyclable products. Over the long term, it aims to increase the share of renewable and low-carbon energy in its manufacturing.

Orange Business to build supplier innovations into future network designs

Orange Business will incorporate supplier innovations into its network and product designs and carry them into future solutions.

Sébastien Bernard, Corporate Sustainability & Risks Manager at Ekinops, called the plan "a true partnership focused on measurable environmental benefits."

Sandra Servières, Orange Business Chief Procurement Officer, described it as a milestone in embedding sustainability across operations and the supply chain. She said close work with partners can accelerate the transition to a low-carbon digital future.
