TEL AVIV – – October 30, 2026 -- NewCore has been recognized in the Enterprise Security Tech Cyber Top Innovations Awards for Agent Guardian, a product that gives every AI agent its own identity, a named human owner and policy enforcement at runtime.
The company, which operates from Tel Aviv and San Francisco, says enterprises face a governance gap as agents gain enterprise privileges, reach sensitive data and act across multiple systems, often without a person overseeing each step. Enterprise Security Tech cited NewCore for applying to agents the same accountability and security controls enterprises already apply to employees.
Agent Guardian assigns each AI agent an owner and a managed lifecycle
Each agent receives its own identity, a defined human owner, scoped permissions and a managed lifecycle. A live identity graph discovers agents, accounts, applications and the access relationships between them.
Agents get short-lived, narrowly scoped credentials for authorized tasks, which removes broad standing access. Policies evaluate every tool call as it happens, permit routine activity and block prohibited actions. Natural-language policy creation is meant to simplify administration and flag conflicts before deployment.
Biometric mobile approval gates high-risk agent actions
When an agent attempts a sensitive operation, its owner receives a request on a mobile device and confirms or denies it with biometric verification. Audit trails link each action to its owner, the policy applied and the approval decision. Security teams can revoke an agent's access immediately once its activity leaves established boundaries or is no longer needed.
CEO and co-founder Zohar Alon said "every agent needs the same accountability we expect from people." He added that no security team can review everything an agent does, so human judgment should be reserved for sensitive actions and policy should handle the rest.
Unified platform runs alongside existing identity systems
The capabilities sit on NewCore's unified identity platform, which combines authentication, authorization, security and governance for human and agent identities in a single architecture. It can be deployed alongside an enterprise's current identity platform. NewCore is backed by Cyberstarts, Index Ventures and Evolution Equity Partners.
