Connector lets legal professionals work with Bloomberg Law court data and litigation insights directly in Claude

ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bloomberg Law today highlighted its connector for Claude, giving legal professionals access to its collection of federal and state court dockets data and litigation intelligence within Claude. Users can search and retrieve docket details and filing information, monitor matters with alerts and tracks, and surface litigation insights in the AI tool they already use.

The connector uses Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard that connects AI applications with external data and tools. It enables customers to bring Bloomberg Law dockets and litigation intelligence into their work in Claude, without conducting a separate search on the Bloomberg Law platform.

"The value of an AI tool depends on the quality of the information it draws on," said Aaron Pierce, head of Bloomberg Law. "Connecting Claude with Bloomberg Law's dockets and litigation intelligence gives legal professionals the ability to review and compare filings, understand litigation trends, and identify opportunities within the same workflow."

The Claude integration reflects Bloomberg Law's broader approach of meeting legal professionals where they work, both on the Bloomberg Law platform and in third-party tools. These connections give customers more choice in how they access Bloomberg Law intelligence for awareness and analysis.
