CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. – October 28, 2026 -- Suvoda has added Lyft, Uber Health and Bolt rideshare access to Greenphire Travel, targeting a logistical barrier that 49% of disrupted participants in the latest CISCRP study cited: travel to the study clinic.
Participants book rides and track trips through the Suvoda App
Participants can book eligible rides, view flight and hotel details, and follow rideshare status in the Suvoda App. The same app shows study appointments, questionnaires and payments. Suvoda says this cuts routine status inquiries routed through site staff. Rideshare provider availability depends on region.
Sites get a revised travel request workflow, a clearer view of trip status and secure messaging. Sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) get more detailed reporting on travel spend and policy across global trials.
Sponsors choose between site-led and Concierge support models
Greenphire Travel offers two delivery models. In the site-led option, study teams initiate straightforward travel requests directly. The Concierge model provides personalized coordination for more complex studies, with coordinators stationed in 40+ countries and available 24/7.
Will Wing, Director of Product at Suvoda, said sponsors can match service level to each study or site rather than applying one model across a whole portfolio. He named oncology and rare disease as areas where the difference matters most.
Sponsors fund travel upfront, leaving patients and sites with $0 out-of-pocket
Eligible travel is funded upfront by the sponsor and managed through Suvoda. Patients, caregivers and sites bear $0 out-of-pocket costs for covered services, which Suvoda says removes reimbursement delays.
Greenphire Travel has supported more than 8,400 sites across 2,000+ trials in over 50 countries.
