Freiburg – October 28, 2026 -- Lang Consulting GmbH says it has supported more than 1,200 online shops over more than seven years. The Freiburg-based agency is pitching verifiable credentials as the main filter for retailers choosing an e-commerce partner.
Founder and Managing Director Sven Lang argues that a wrong choice costs a shop operator more than the service budget. In the worst case, the retailer loses months in which the business should have been developing. In his view, polished websites and high revenue claims do not show who actually delivers the work, how experienced those people are, or which obligations the provider accepts. Lang built and ran online shops before founding the company.
Lang Consulting staffs client work with in-house employees at a 1,000 sqm Freiburg site
Full-time experts from several disciplines work at the roughly 1,000-square-meter site in Freiburg. Permanently employed staff handle ongoing client support. Clients can meet their contacts and work with them on site in personal appointments and workshops. The company also hosts meetings for online shop operators several times a year.
Contracts carry a revenue guarantee with terms set case by case
The company says it relies on transparent costs and wants to avoid hourly rates that are hard to trace or added after signing. Its contracts include a revenue guarantee. The prerequisites, targets and time periods are defined in each individual contract, so the guarantee is not a blanket success promise for every shop. Lang advises operators to have a qualified lawyer review any legal ambiguities.
Google, Meta and Shopify partnerships and TÜV certification serve as external proof
Lang Consulting cites official partner status with Google, Meta and Shopify, along with a TÜV certification or TÜV-tested quality. It also points to client projects, including McGarden24, Tiergewinnt, SkyPergola and Koi Company, which differ in product range, size and starting position.
