From hotel operations to learning leadership to the DevLearn expo floor, Schoox demonstrates how L&D leaders can create training that drives business performance.

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Schoox, the Intelligent Learning & Growth Platform for frontline enterprises, today announced it will work with learning leaders at four events in November. They include the Workforce Management in Hotels and Hospitality Summit in Dallas, Learning Leadership in Las Vegas, DevLearn in Las Vegas and a Training Industry Webinar focused on proving the value of L&D. The shared challenge: becoming a skills-based learning organization that leverages training to improve business performance.

Learning leaders are often asked to prove the return on training after a program has launched. Engineering training to achieve a business outcome reverses that order: name the result first, then design the learning to deliver it.

Learning leaders can now set the business target with operational leaders, identify the skills required to improve performance, build the program to achieve it, and forecast the expected return before the program launches.

"Skills matter to a CFO only when they connect to a metric the business is working to improve," said Sandra Moran, Chief Marketing Officer at Schoox. "Most learning teams know they need to become skills-based. What they lack is a starting point, and generating the link between skills and the metrics training should improve gives them one."

Workforce Management in Hotels and Hospitality Summit 2026

November 2â4 | Renaissance Dallas Hotel, Dallas, Texas

On Tuesday, November 3, from 2:25 to 2:55 p.m. CT, Erica Chenette, Learning & Talent Development Leader, Hospitality, Retail & Franchise Systems, will present along with Kate Lukach, head of customer marketing at Schoox. Their session, "Growing Fast Without Losing the Guest Experience: Lessons from the Front Lines of Hospitality Growth," draws on new frontline workforce research. Leaders will leave with ways to use onboarding to improve retention, build skills-based career paths, and keep brand standards consistent across managed, franchise, and multi-brand properties.

Learning Leadership 2026 with Sysco and Schoox

November 2â3 | MGM Grand, Las Vegas

Learning Leadership is a Learning Guild forum for approximately 300 leaders who steer learning strategy. On Tuesday, November 3, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. PT, Schoox and Sysco will present "How Sysco Is Using AI and Skills Data to Ensure L&D's Business Impact." The session will discuss how to link skills to business drivers instead of completion rates. At kiosk LL24, attendees can book a 15-minute Skills Mapping Session for L&D Leaders. Attendees bring a role, and Schoox maps the skills behind that role's performance outcomes, generates the training plan and content to achieve it.

November 4â6 | MGM Grand, Las Vegas

DevLearn, in its 22nd year, is described by The Learning Guild as America's largest learning technologies event. Schoox exhibits at booth #303 and will make a solution announcement there. Attendees can book the same 15-minute skills mapping session at the booth.

Training Industry Webinar with The Fresh Market and Schoox

November 5, 2026 - 2:00-2:45pm ET | Industry Webinar

In this Training Industry webinar titled, "Stop Reporting Completions. Start Reporting the Impact of Training", Shay Dalton, Director of Learning and Leadership Development at The Fresh Market, joins Sandra Moran, Chief Marketing Officer at Schoox, to show how a 172-location specialty grocer ties training to retention, workforce readiness, and guest satisfaction. Dalton explains how her team estimates turnover costs by role, shows how strong onboarding helps new hires stay longer, and makes learning a leadership priority.
