Janesville police arrest 58-year-old man after finding person dead in apartment

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) - Janesville Police Department arrested a 58-year-old man after finding a person dead in an apartment Sunday evening.

The police department said Tuesday that officers responded to a welfare check around 6 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Myrtle Way. When they entered the apartment, officers found a person’s body inside.

Officers found Andrew Bradley near the apartment complex. They took him into custody and for medical treatment.

The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office investigated the death and determined the manner of death was homicide. The individual was not identified.

JPD said officers arrested Bradley on a potential charge of first-degree intentional homicide- domestic violence.
