Peekskill, N.Y. – October 19, 2026 -- Families weighing homecare options can now listen to the relaunched "Embracing Angels" podcast, hosted by Robert Dalton, CEO of Angels on Call Homecare, with an opening episode that explains private-pay home care.
The podcast widens its focus beyond end-of-life care
Embracing Angels first launched in 2024 with a focus on end-of-life experiences. The new run covers aging, caregiving, and long-term care more broadly.
Topics include aging in place, family caregiving, private-pay homecare, Dementia, Parkinson's disease, independence, and the emotional side of supporting loved ones through life's transitions.
The relaunch episode tackles private-pay home care
The first episode, "Why We're Still Embracing Angels, and Private Pay Home Care Explained," addresses misconceptions about homecare coverage. It also walks families through key considerations when they compare care options.
The return coincides with Long-Term Care Planning Month. Dalton said many families find care decisions overwhelming, especially when they do not know what questions to ask or where to turn.
A New York provider with a specialist track record
Angels on Call Homecare was founded in 2005 by Registered Nurse Pamela Fitzpatrick. The company describes itself as the nation's first dual-accredited homecare provider in Dementia and Parkinson's care.
Eric J. Dalton, the company's Vice President, said the podcast extends the belief that aging should never mean losing your identity, purpose, or voice.
Where to listen
The show is aimed at older adults, families, care professionals, and healthcare professionals. Episodes are available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and on the show's YouTube channel.
