Toronto – October 15, 2026 -- Toca Boca World players can dress their characters in looks inspired by HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys and play four songs from Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters in their stories when the collaboration launches October 27.
Two style worlds, one wardrobe
Spin Master's digital studio Toca Boca is bringing the film to its Toca Boca World app, which has close to 60 million players. The new content blends the film's everyday fashion with the look of its K-pop stage performances. Players can mix and match both to build characters and personalize their storytelling.
A music player with four hit songs
A new in-game music player carries "How It's Done," "Golden," "Soda Pop" and "Your Idol." For a limited time, players can use the tracks as soundtracks for their own stories inside the app.
Marc De Vellis, Spin Master's President, Digital Games, called the film "a global cultural phenomenon." He said the studio had already seen its community drawing on the movie in their stories, which made the collaboration feel natural.
Toca Boca World keeps adding music partners
The tie-in follows earlier Toca Boca World collaborations with adidas, Conan Gray, KATSEYE and Wicked: For Good. The app has also featured in-game music from Olivia Rodrigo, SIENNA SPIRO and TWICE.
The film behind the crossover has broken records
KPop Demon Hunters, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, premiered on June 20, 2025. It is Netflix's most popular film of all time, with more than 670 million views and 63 consecutive weeks on Netflix's Global Top 10.
It won Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards, Critics' Choice Awards and Golden Globes, plus ten Annie Awards. "Golden" became the first K-pop track to win both an Oscar and a Grammy. It held No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and was certified 5x Platinum.
The soundtrack was the first to place four songs in the Hot 100 top ten at the same time. It has accumulated more than 15 billion global streams.
Toca Boca Jr Kitchen gets a mukbang makeover
Netflix subscribers get a separate tie-in on Netflix Playground. Toca Boca Jr Kitchen has a stylized KPop Demon Hunters update that keeps the core mechanics and turns the gameplay into a mukbang-themed cooking experience. The game is available to download now on iOS and Android and is included free with a Netflix subscription.
