Greenland Security Pact Pulls the Rare Earth Supply Race North

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- American News Group News Commentary - The global rare earth elements market was estimated at $3.95 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $6.28 billion by 2030, a compound annual growth rate of 8.6% from 2025 to 2030, according to Grand View Research, which identifies neodymium as the product segment with the largest revenue share. That growth is now colliding with geopolitics. A newly announced security agreement among the United States, Denmark and Greenland would give Washington a say over sensitive investment on an island that hosts some of the largest undeveloped rare earth deposits in the Western world. Active Companies from around the markets with current developments this week include: Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML), Greenland Energy Company (NASDAQ: GLND), REalloys Inc. (NASDAQ: ALOY), Ramaco Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: METC), VanEck Rare Earth and Strategic Metals ETF (NYSE Arca: REMX).

Measured by volume rather than value, the picture points the same way. Mordor Intelligence sizes the market at 208.02 kilotons in 2026 and expects 273.30 kilotons by 2031, a 5.61% compound annual growth rate, driven by electric-vehicle traction motors, offshore wind turbines and grid-scale clean-energy infrastructure. A longer-range forecast from IMARC Group values the market at $14.03 billion in 2025 and projects $41.15 billion by 2034, and names permanent magnets as the leading application segment.

The common thread across those forecasts is the magnet. Neodymium and praseodymium, the two elements usually traded together as NdPr, give high-strength permanent magnets their performance, and those magnets sit inside motors, turbines, drones, guided munitions and industrial robots. Supply of the refined material remains highly concentrated in a single country, which is why Washington has spent the past two years backing domestic producers, taking equity positions and funding new separation and magnet capacity.

The newest piece of that effort arrived on Friday. President Trump announced that the United States, Denmark and Greenland had reached a security agreement, stating that no U.S. adversary could "make sensitive investments in Greenland, without our express written approval." According to reporting by CNBC, the broader provisions would prohibit sensitive investments by non-allied nations in Greenland's critical minerals and mining sectors. The governments of Denmark and Greenland said they expect to sign the agreement this week during the UN General Assembly, and it will still require ratification by the Danish and Greenlandic parliaments.

Investors did not wait for the signing. U.S.-listed companies with Greenland exposure rallied sharply on Monday, with the largest percentage moves concentrated in the smallest names. The full legal text has not been released, and nothing announced so far grants any company a permit, an offtake or funding. What has changed is the frame: Greenland's mineral deposits are now being discussed as part of allied security planning rather than as remote geology.

Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) Applies to More Than Double Its Sarfartoq Rare Earth District as Greenland's Strategic Profile Rises

- New license application covers approximately 262 km² immediately east of the existing Sarfartoq license, MEL 2020-32.

- If granted, the Company's Sarfartoq footprint would grow from about 192 km² to about 454 km².

- ST1 S-K 1300 Mineral Resource Estimate: 6.9 million tons Indicated at 1.60% TREO and 5.3 million tons Inferred at 0.96% TREO.

- Initial Assessment includes a high-case pre-tax NPV of approximately $2.05 billion for ST1.

- Company states planned annual NdPr oxide output would equal about 34% of NdPr oxide refined outside China at 2025 consumption levels.

Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) is a Western-aligned critical-minerals developer with two Greenland assets: the Sarfartoq neodymium-praseodymium rare earth project in the southwest and the Skaergaard palladium-platinum-gold project in the southeast. On Monday, the Company announced that after significant reconnaissance it has applied to the Government of Greenland for a new license covering approximately 262 km² east of its existing Sarfartoq license. The Company says historical stream-sediment geochemistry, regional aeromagnetic data and geological information point to the applied-for area as prospective ground for rare earths, although no Mineral Resource has been estimated there and it is an exploration opportunity only.

"This application is about building Sarfartoq at district scale," said Dr. Bo Møller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines Ltd. "Our strategy is straightforward: advance ST1 toward development, unlock the value of the less-developed known ST zones and systematically test the wider district for the next rare earth discovery."

ST1 is the anchor of that district. Under a hybrid open-pit and underground scenario, the new S-K 1300 Mineral Resource Estimate totals roughly 12.2 million tons grading 1.32% TREO on a combined Indicated and Inferred basis. The deposit is weighted toward the magnet metals: neodymium and praseodymium account for approximately 84% of the modeled in-concentrate basket value. Other known occurrences across the Sarfartoq Carbonatite Complex, including ST40, ST19, ST24, ST31 and ST43, remain substantially less developed and are not part of the current estimate or its economics.

The Company welcomed the security agreement within hours of its announcement. "Today's announcement underscores what we have long believed: Greenland is becoming one of the most strategically important regions in the world," said Stensgaard. The Company has described a broader vision for a North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor linking Greenland's resources with downstream processing and industrial infrastructure in allied jurisdictions, with Skaergaard, a large palladium-platinum-gold and vanadium-bearing system, as its second leg. More at greenlandmines.com.

There are several risks associated with the Company's plans. Greenland Mines is a development-stage company and has not estimated Mineral Reserves at either project. The Sarfartoq Initial Assessment is preliminary and includes Inferred Mineral Resources that are too speculative geologically to be categorized as reserves, and there is no certainty its results will be realized. The new license remains an application that may be delayed, modified or denied. Arctic logistics, a short field season, environmental permitting, metallurgy, commodity prices and access to financing all bear on whether either project is developed, and development-stage companies commonly raise money through share issuance that dilutes existing holders. The Company's shares have been extremely volatile around the security announcement, and such moves can reverse quickly. The agreement itself has not been signed or ratified and grants the Company no rights. Readers should review the Company's filings with the SEC at www.sec.gov.

In other industry developments and happenings in the market this week include:

Greenland Energy Company (NASDAQ: GLND) is an oil exploration company focused on the Jameson Land Basin in East Greenland, and was among the most active Greenland-linked names on Monday. The company began trading on Nasdaq on March 26, 2026 following the completion of its business combination, and is led by Executive Chairman Larry G. Swets, Jr. and Chief Executive Officer Robert Price.

In August, the company reported that its joint venture partner 80 Mile plc, which leads the permitting process, had been advised by the Government of Greenland that the project's complexity will require a more extensive review, and that the partners are now working toward a targeted permit timeline for winter 2027. "Operating in the Arctic requires patience, flexibility and a long-term perspective," said Price. Earlier this month, Greenland Energy and 80 Mile agreed indicative terms for a proposed all-share combination that would consolidate ownership of the Jameson Land licenses in a single Nasdaq-listed company; a firm offer remains subject to due diligence and other conditions.

REalloys Inc. (NASDAQ: ALOY) is a U.S.-based rare earth materials company executing a mine-to-magnet strategy, and it already has a direct line into Greenland feedstock. In May, REalloys entered into a definitive long-term offtake agreement with Critical Metals Corp. covering 15% of monthly Phase 1 production from the Tanbreez Project in southern Greenland, replacing an earlier non-binding letter of intent. The company describes the agreement as a long-term, U.S.-aligned source of heavy rare earth feedstock for its separation, metallization and magnet manufacturing operations.

REalloys has also signed a non-binding MOU with Ramaco Resources under which it may secure supply rights for up to 20% of future mixed rare earth carbonate and critical materials production from Ramaco's Brook Mine in Wyoming. REalloys says its Phase 1 operation is currently expected to start production in late 2026 or early 2027 and is designed to produce 525 tonnes per annum of NdPr metal, 25 tonnes of dysprosium metal and 12 tonnes of terbium metal. In its second quarter update, the company named Dr. Muhammad Imran, previously head of the rare earth division at processing partner SRC, as Chief Operating Officer effective September 1, 2026.

Ramaco Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: METC) is a metallurgical coal producer that is also advancing the Brook Mine rare earth and critical minerals project near Sheridan, Wyoming, and was among the U.S. rare earth names that moved higher on Monday. The company's rare earths at Brook are hosted in soft carbonaceous strata and coal seams within the Powder River Basin, and all are currently classified as inferred mineral resources, according to the company's Brook Mine FAQ.

Clarkson University Earns Inaugural Carnegie Elective Classification for Sustainability
Image File
Original HTML

POTSDAM, N.Y., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Clarkson University has earned the Carnegie Elective Classification for Sustainability, becoming one of the first institutions nationwide to receive this new recognition for its longstanding commitment to integrating sustainability throughout the University.

Clarkson is one of just 14 institutions nationwide to earn the classification through its 2025 pilot. The recognition reflects the University's broad commitment to sustainability across research, education, community engagement and campus operations, bringing together faculty, students and partners to address real-world challenges in the North Country and beyond.

Clarkson participated in the pilot program that helped shape the classification's framework and review process. The classification recognizes institutions that demonstrate a comprehensive commitment to sustainability.

The Institute for a Sustainable Environment serves as an interdisciplinary hub connecting sustainability education, research and outreach across Clarkson. That work extends throughout the University's research enterprise, including the Center of Excellence in Healthy Water Solutions, Center for Air and Aquatic Resources Engineering and Science (CAARES), and Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP).

Clarkson researchers are tackling challenges involving clean water and energy, air quality, resilient energy systems, waste reduction and advanced materials. Research through the Center of Excellence in Healthy Water Solutions has supported technologies to destroy PFAS and harmful algal blooms, while other Clarkson research has explored alternative solvents for semiconductor manufacturing.

Some of that research has moved from the laboratory into the marketplace. Clarkson-developed technologies have led to startup companies addressing environmental challenges, including PFAS treatment. Student-founded KLAW Industries developed a process that repurposes waste glass for use in concrete, reducing waste and the material's carbon footprint.

Sustainability is also integrated into the Clarkson student experience. Courses including Climate Change for Engineers, Sustainable Infrastructure and Building, and Water Resources II examine issues ranging from climate adaptation and resilient infrastructure to flood control. Students also put those lessons into practice through research, capstone projects and community-based learning.

That combination of education and community engagement is particularly visible in the North Country. Clarkson faculty and students have supported the Potsdam Climate Smart Communities Task Force and worked with the Village of Potsdam on stormwater infrastructure and flooding risks. Student work has helped lay the groundwork for additional engineering projects and contributed to the village securing outside funding.

Clarkson also has a decades-long partnership with the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe's Air Quality Program at Akwesasne. Through CAARES, faculty and students have supported indoor and outdoor air-quality monitoring and helped identify opportunities to improve indoor air quality.

Students have also contributed research and data to sustainability planning with the New York Olympic Region and worked with regional schools, municipalities, nonprofits and businesses on food waste, infrastructure, environmental education and community resilience.

Together, these efforts reflect Clarkson's view of sustainability as more than environmental stewardship. Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Clarkson's approach also considers human well-being, economic opportunity and the strength of communities.

"The first group of inaugural institutions help bring this new classification to life," said Timothy F.C. Knowles, president of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. "We're proud to recognize their leadership and the many ways they are advancing sustainability across their campuses and communities."

The Carnegie Elective Classification for Sustainability is hosted by the University of Colorado Boulder in partnership with the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the American Council on Education.

The 14 pilot institutions will become part of the inaugural cohort of classified institutions, which will be announced in June 2027. Institutions receiving the classification retain it for six years, through 2033.

How might this summer's extreme weather and the now-historic El Niño impact Chicago region fall color?

Experts at The Morton Arboretum monitoring conditions closely; Walking Plays and Cider and Ale Festival kick off fall color events

LISLE, Ill., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As the seasons change, the tree experts at The Morton Arboretum are monitoring weather factors—including the record-breaking El Niño—most likely to impact fall leaf color in the Chicago region.

"We saw a lot of weather extremes this summer, from drought to heavy rainfall, which will likely impact trees and their foliage very differently and have isolated effects," said Christy Rollinson, Ph.D., senior scientist in forest ecology at the Arboretum. "The warming impact of El Niño in our region, particularly as we progress toward winter, may result in a compressed fall color season with leaves changing all at once in late fall."

Drought, which was seen across the region earlier this summer, would normally be linked to earlier fall color, Rollinson said. And while some fall color has been observed in area trees already, those are species that typically turn early, like the autumn blaze maple. The periods of drought at the start of summer have since been offset by significantly above-average precipitation over the last 90 days, as reported by the Illinois State Climatology Office.

The earliest colors have already appeared in individual trees in "high-light and high-stress environments," such as parking lots, in late August and early September, Rollinson said. On average, maples will develop their brightest and most consistent color in mid-October, and oaks in late October, she said. Overall, leaves tend to stay on trees in the Chicago region through early- to mid-November.

Rollinson and her team are also monitoring the strengthening El Niño, expected to bring warmer-than-average temperatures to October, November and December, as indicated by the most recent seasonal outlooks from the National Weather Service. El Niño refers to a warming of the Pacific Ocean's surface that impacts weather patterns worldwide.

"If this holds, we expect El Niño to delay autumn color in general," Rollinson said. "But once we see several nights of freezing temperatures that leaves can't survive for long, their colors will begin to change quickly."

There is consistent evidence that warmer autumns are generally associated with later fall color in the Chicago region, she said. But the length of daylight is another important factor at play and tree species respond to cues differently. As scientists assess how the season might continue to shift in comparison to its official calendar start, they consider that balance between light and temperature.

"Although our autumn temperatures may become more like southern Illinois' in future years, the timing of the temperature relative to day length won't be equivalent, and we don't know yet exactly what that will mean for the start of the season," Rollinson said.

The Arboretum, which has tree collections containing nearly 4,100 different types of plants, has a long fall-color season to both enjoy and study, as tree species change color at various times. Arboretum visitors can track fall colors as they emerge throughout its 1,700 acres in a weekly Fall Color Report beginning this week on its website.

Fall Color Festival

The Arboretum celebrates its changing fall landscape each year with a Fall Color Festival featuring festivities for all ages throughout October. Special events include Walking Plays: Wuthering Heights, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 19 through Oct. 25; Cider and Ale Festival, Oct. 3; the 16th annual Glass Pumpkin Patch, Oct. 9 through Oct. 11; a new Autumn Reserve Wine Experience, Oct. 15; new Plant Bingo, Oct. 17; and the Fall Color 5K Run and Walk, Oct. 24. Seasonal concessions will be available on weekends in October and Monday, Oct. 12 (Indigenous Peoples' Day) in the Arbor Court area outside the Visitor Center, including apple cider doughnuts, taffy apples, cotton candy, warm kettle corn, warm pretzels, chili, and a selection of craft beers and warm beverages.

The Arboretum also recognizes OAKtober: Oak Awareness Month, with programs highlighting the beauty and importance of oak trees. Learn about and connect with trees through classes, guided walks, Forest Therapy and more throughout the month, including 250 Years of American Woodlore, Oct. 3; IAA Careers in Arboriculture Demonstration Event, Oct. 7; and In Trees: A Conversation with Robert Moor, Oct. 19.

PIRELLI: BOARD OF DIRECTORS MAJORITY APPROVES US MULTI-YEAR INVESTMENT PLAN OF APPROXIMATELY €1 BILLION

THE INVESTMENT WILL INCREASE PRODUCTION CAPACITY AT THE ROME, GEORGIA PLA NT TO 6 MILLION CAR TYRES BY 2033, INCLUDING CYBER TYRE TECHNOLOGY, WITH AROUND 1,000 NEW JOBS EXPECTED

NO IMPACT ON 2026 TARGETS. CAPEX-TO-REVENUE RATIO FOR 2027-2033 IN CONTINUITY WITH PREVIOUS PERIODS

THE PROJECT IS AIMED AT SUPPORTING GROWTH IN WORLD'S LARGEST HIGH VALUE MARKET AND STRENGTHENING LOCAL-FOR-LOCAL STRATEGY

BOARD APPROVES NEW ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

MILAN, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Pirelli & C. S.p.A. met today and majority approved - with the contrary vote of board members Zhang Haitao, Xi Xiaohong and Wang Kun - an investment plan for the United States worth approximately €1 billion (around $1.2 billion), aimed at expanding the Rome, Georgia plant, which already produces the most technologically advanced solutions for the U.S. market.

The investment plan will support Pirelli's growth in the High Value segment in the United States, the world's largest market for this segment, accounting for approximately 40% of global volumes. The project will strengthen the company's local-for-local strategy, enhance supply chain resilience, and meet the growing demand for technologically advanced "Made in USA" products. Furthermore, the investment reinforces Pirelli's long-term commitment to the country, where the company has operated in the State of Georgia since 2002 and established strong relationships with government institutions, local authorities, and universities.

The expansion plan will be implemented over several years starting in 2027 and increase annual production capacity at the Rome plant, including Cyber™ Tyre technology, to approximately 6 million car tyres upon completion in 2033 and is expected to create around 1,000 new jobs.

The expansion of the Rome plant, which will become a state-of-the-art industrial hub, will take place in two phases. The first phase will involve a gradual increase in robotized production based on the latest evolution of MIRS (Modular Integrated Robotized System), a proprietary Pirelli technology, with production capacity progressively increasing from 2028 and ultimately reaching 3 million tyres per year. This will be achieved through autonomous modular robotic systems capable of manufacturing technologically advanced High Value tyres.

In addition, a fully automated conventional production facility will be built using the most advanced manufacturing processes and dedicated to premium products, with an additional production capacity at completion of 3 million tyres per year at full operation.

The plant will be able to produce the most advanced technology products, including Cyber™ Tyre. Following the governance changes introduced under Italy's 2026 Golden Power Decree, Pirelli obtained authorization from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) to market the Cyber™ Tyre system in the U.S. market, a country increasingly adopting connected and autonomous vehicles.

This expansion plan will permit Pirelli to implement the growth of production capacity in a gradual manner and in line with the evolution of demand, maintaining very high efficiency standards and optimizing the costs of raw material transformation and investment.

The project timeline is consistent with the industrial requirements of the High Value segment, which require highly specialized manufacturing processes, small-batch management of a broad product mix, and integration of Pirelli's proprietary technologies.

The project will not have an impact on the company's 2026 targets, with the capex-to-revenue ratio for 2027-2033 seen remaining substantially in continuity with previous periods, while preserving the Group's cash generation.

Pirelli also announces that today the Board of Directors approved a new organizational structure which foresees the elimination of Corporate General Management function with immediate effect. The Board therefore approved the terms and conditions relative to the resolution of the employment relationship of the Corporate General Manager Francesco Tanzi. To ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Tanzi will maintain his executive employment relationship with the Company until December 31, 2026.

In accordance with the current Pirelli Group Remuneration Policy, Mr. Tanzi will be entitled, in addition to the amounts accrued up to the date of termination of his executive employment relationship, to a severance indemnity equal to 13 months' remuneration, to be paid by February 2027.

Also pursuant to the Pirelli Remuneration Policy, Mr. Tanzi will retain the rights accrued up to the date of termination of his employment in connection with participation in the following incentive plans: (i) the 2023 Annual STI Plan, with regard to the deferred portion and related company matching component; (ii) the 2024 and 2025 Annual STI Plans, with regard to the deferred portion; and (iii) the 2026 Annual STI Plan and the 2024-2026 Long-Term Incentive Plan. These incentive plans remain subject to the customary claw back mechanisms set out in the Remuneration Policy.

To protect the Group's strategic and operational know-how, Mr. Tanzi will remain bound, for the two years following termination, by a non-compete covenant covering the principal countries in which Pirelli operates, in consideration of a payment equal to 130% of his gross annual salary. The amount due will be paid by the Company to Mr. Tanzi in eight quarterly installments in arrears over the two-year non-compete period.

Following the termination of his employment, given his expertise and knowledge of the Group acquired over the years, Mr. Tanzi will remain engaged by the Company under a two-year consultancy agreement with annual compensation of 350,000 euro, gross of applicable withholding taxes. As well as non-monetary benefits valued at 45,000 euro, gross.

The terms and conditions of the termination of Mr. Tanzi's employment and the subsequent consultancy agreement were approved today by the Board of Directors following the favorable opinion of the Remuneration Committee, acting also in its capacity as the Related Parties Committee for remuneration matters, based on its assessment of compliance with the criteria set out in the Remuneration Policy approved by the Shareholders' Meeting.

Mr. Tanzi does not hold any Pirelli shares.

The Board of Directors of Pirelli, met today, following the declaration by Marco Tronchetti Provera & C. S.p.A. ("MTP & C. SpA") concerning the existence of MTP & C. SpA's control over Pirelli, has instructed the Audit, Risk and Corporate Governance Committee to initiate discussions with the controlling shareholder, also with the support of external experts, in order to define the framework governing the relationships arising from the control situation. This includes analyzing the conditions for the possible adoption of a group governance regulation, taking into account governance best practices followed by listed companies and adhering to principles of transparency, efficiency and market protection, while preserving Pirelli's legal and managerial autonomy.

Air Balancing Explained by HVAC Expert Brian Sinkler of Green Bay, WI for HelloNation
Image File
Original HTML

GREEN BAY, Wis., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Why do uneven temperatures continue to frustrate so many homeowners? A HelloNation article answers this question by showing how air balancing addresses the hidden strain on heating and cooling systems. The feature highlights insights from Green Bay professional Brian Sinkler of Sinkler Heating and Cooling, Inc., explaining how proper airflow management restores comfort and efficiency. Readers can learn more in a HelloNation article.

The article explains that uneven temperatures rarely mean a system has failed. More often, the cause is an imbalance in airflow. Air balancing tests, adjusts, and restores the distribution of air throughout the ductwork so every room receives its share. By correcting these issues, an hvac system runs smoothly without wasting energy or creating hot and cold spots.

Testing airflow is the first step. The HelloNation article describes how technicians measure output from each vent to spot imbalances. Some rooms may receive too much air, while others receive too little. These results identify problems that cannot be solved by simply adjusting the thermostat.

Leaks in ductwork are a frequent culprit. Cracks or poor seals let conditioned air escape into attics, crawl spaces, or walls. The article explains that this not only wastes energy but also forces the hvac system to run longer. Sealing ducts stops the loss, improves comfort, and reduces utility costs.

Fine-tuning airflow is another critical step. Dampers inside ducts control how much air reaches each branch. The HelloNation article shows how adjusting these dampers redirects airflow where it is needed most. Registers and vents must also be clear of furniture or debris. Even small adjustments can make a significant difference in comfort across a home or business.

Air balancing protects equipment as well as comfort. When airflow is restricted or uneven, motors, fans, and compressors strain to keep up. The article stresses that this extra workload shortens lifespan and increases the risk of breakdowns. Proper balancing reduces strain, helping the system last longer and operate reliably.

Efficiency improves when airflow is balanced. According to the HelloNation feature, balanced systems cycle less often and consume less power. Families and businesses enjoy consistent comfort without overuse of heating or cooling. This efficiency is especially valuable in spaces facing high utility costs.

The article also notes that air balancing can prevent unnecessary replacements. Many assume uneven temperatures mean a system has failed. In reality, the hvac system often works fine once airflow is restored. Professional testing and adjustments provide a cost-effective alternative to new equipment.

Insulation supports the process too. Ducts that pass through unconditioned areas lose or gain heat, altering airflow. The HelloNation article recommends insulating these ducts to maintain consistent distribution. This step ensures that airflow measurements remain accurate and effective.

Air balancing is especially useful for multi-level buildings. Heat naturally rises, leaving upper floors warmer than lower levels. Without adjustments, this natural difference creates larger comfort gaps. The HelloNation article explains that balancing airflow and, when needed, adding zoning systems keeps temperatures stable across all levels.

Routine maintenance is essential to sustaining air balance. Dirty filters, clogged coils, or worn fans disrupt airflow and create new imbalances. The article emphasizes that maintenance keeps components clean and operating as designed. Regular appointments also provide a chance to retest airflow as household needs change.

For households and businesses dealing with uneven comfort, air balancing offers a practical solution. The HelloNation article highlights that instead of living with hot and cold spots, professional testing creates a stable, comfortable environment. At the same time, the hvac system operates with greater efficiency and less wear.

Air balancing may be less well known than other services, but its impact is large. By focusing on airflow, ductwork, and sealing ducts, it addresses comfort concerns, reduces strain, and cuts energy use. The HelloNation article shows how these steps transform a struggling system into one that quietly delivers reliable comfort every day.

In Green Bay, HVAC Expert Brian Sinkler of Sinkler Heating and Cooling, Inc. provides guidance on air balancing as a cost-effective way to improve performance. His approach reflects the insights shared in the HelloNation feature, emphasizing airflow, efficiency, and lasting comfort.

RESTON, Va., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- In today's rapidly evolving security environment, military commanders rely on timely, high-quality intelligence to make critical decisions. Under a recent U.S. Army contract, Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will continue providing the Airborne Reconnaissance and Targeting Exploitation Multi-Mission Intelligence System (ARTEMIS), delivering rapidly deployable airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities across Europe and, when needed, other regions around the world.

Valued at up to $127 million, the award extends ARTEMIS ISR operations within the U.S. European Command area of responsibility through the summer of 2027 with two additional option years. Leidos has supported the mission since 2020, helping provide commanders with the real-time intelligence needed to detect threats, maintain situational awareness, and make faster, more informed operational decisions.

"ARTEMIS combines the flexibility of commercial aircraft with military-grade sensing to deliver timely intelligence wherever commanders need it," said Jason McCarthy, Leidos senior vice president, Airborne & Mission Solutions. "As threats continue to evolve, we're providing the Army with a proven, rapidly deployable ISR capability that helps commanders stay ahead of the fight and make decisions with greater confidence."

Leidos provides a comprehensive Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated (CO/CO) ISR capability built around a modified Bombardier Challenger 650 aircraft. The company provides the aircraft, mission systems, flight operations, and support services. Originally fielded as a technology demonstrator, ARTEMIS has evolved into a globally deployable, high-altitude ISR platform that strengthens the Army's intelligence collection capabilities while providing the flexibility to support operations across multiple theaters.

This award advances Leidos' NorthStar 2030 strategy by expanding the company's Defense Tech and Mission & Digital Solutions portfolio. Through mission-critical sensing, airborne ISR, and decision advantage capabilities, Leidos continues to help defense customers maintain operational readiness and respond to increasingly complex security challenges.

The contract was awarded through the Army's Common Hardware Systems-6 (CHS) next-generation prime contract for the rapid procurement of C5ISR hardware solutions and services. CHS-6 provides the U.S. Army, all U.S. military service branches, and federal agencies with a rapid tactical and operational equipment and service procurement experience.

TODDLER TECHNO GOES TROPICAL: A LOOK INSIDE LENNY PEARCE'S CARIBBEAN FAMILY RAVE AT BEACHES TURKS AND CAICOS

Inside the weekend: Four high-energy performances, poolside dance parties and a new kind of family vacation experience as the viral artist takes over Beaches Resorts' Fall Fam Jam 2026

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Caribbean danced to a different beat this fall as viral toddler techno sensation Lenny Pearce brought his signature family rave to the family-friendly, all-inclusive Beaches Turks and Caicos. The event was part of Beaches Resorts Fall Fam Jam, its annual celebration of family travel running from September through October. Pearce transformed the resort into a dance floor for the whole family with four exclusive live performances from September 16–21, bringing kids, parents and grandparents together through music, movement and plenty of Caribbean energy.

"We've played Toddler Techno in some incredible places, but bringing it to Beaches Resorts in the Caribbean was a whole different vibe," said Lenny Pearce, who is known for turning beloved childhood songs into high-energy electronic remixes. "There's something extra special about families being on vacation and Beaches is an incredible venue with everything set up for families to let loose and have fun together. They're relaxed, they're happy, and the only thing on the agenda is having a good time. You could really feel that energy from the crowd, and getting to experience it with my own family made it even more special."

From the resort's open-air main stage to the pools at the Italian and Treasure Beach Villages, each performance offered a different backdrop for families to sing, dance and experience the phenomenon together.

Inside the Weekend: Four Ways to Rave in Paradise

Pearce's four-performance residency brought Toddler Techno to life across some of Beaches Turks and Caicos' most memorable settings, giving families a chance to experience the global phenomenon in a variety of ways throughout their stay. He kicked things off on September 16, as Beaches Turks & Caicos welcomed guests to Bubbles Before the Beats, a festive pre-show celebration featuring cocktails, island bites and an exclusive VIP meet and greet with Lenny Pearce. Pearce then took the stage at the French Village Open Air Theatre, delivering a high-energy performance filled with big beats, interactive moments and a packed dance floor that set the tone for the week ahead.

The following day, the party went poolside at the new Treasure Beach Village, where families danced under the Caribbean sun during a daytime set at the village's expansive 15,000-square-foot pool. The celebration brought plenty of playful touches for the little ones, with larger-than-life gummy bear and rubber ducky floaties making their way around the pool, along with neon Beaches sunnies for kids to sport as they danced along to the beats.

On September 18, the celebration took over the French Village pool for the residency's most immersive performance yet. Guests were encouraged to get in the water and dance as Pearce performed from above, overlooking a glow-stick lit pool packed with families, while larger-than-life props, including a giant Humpty Dumpty balloon, bounced through the crowd. Beloved characters like Kuma made appearances throughout the set, keeping the energy high from start to finish before Beaches brought the night to a spectacular close with a fireworks finale. Pearce closed out the residency on September 21 at the Italian Village Pool with a sun-soaked final performance at the resort's iconic Trivie tower.

Familiar Faces Joined the Fun

The festivities also welcomed some familiar faces throughout the week, including Twilight alumni and longtime friends Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz, who vacationed together with their families and joined in on the high-energy performances. They were joined by TV personalities and social media influencers Giannina Gibelli and Blake Hortsmann, as well as Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy, who also enjoyed the week's entertainment with her family while at the resort.

Taking Fall Fam Jam to the Next Level

Pearce's residency was part of Beaches Fall Fam Jam, the brand's annual celebration of family travel taking place throughout September and October at Beaches Turks & Caicos and Beaches Negril. This year's expanded program brings the spirit of a festival to the all-inclusive family vacation, combining live entertainment with new experiences designed to get families moving, creating and connecting.

Alongside Pearce, this year's Fall Fam Jam features KIDZ BOP, which makes a special Caribbean stop at Beaches Turks & Caicos October 1–5, as well as all-new Sesame Street® experiences, expanded toddler programming and Caribbean-inspired family entertainment.

From Baby Jammers and Sesame Street® Sunrise Yoga to beach parties, Caribbean Street Parties and music-filled activities, Fall Fam Jam is designed for everyone to get in on the fun.
