Rolling out through October for ADHD and Learning Disabilities Awareness Month, the "Less Noise, More Understood" campaign spans TV, online, radio, social and influencer

The campaign coincides with a brand positioning and visual refresh to better reflect Understood's future

NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Parents raising neurodivergent kids face no shortage of information and advice, but the hard part is knowing what to trust. Today, Understood.org, a nonprofit that supports people navigating neurodivergence, launched its new brand campaign, "Less Noise, More Understood," to help families cut through that noise and find clarity.

The campaign centers on a new brand film confronting the overwhelming volume of opinions, myths and misinformation families encounter while navigating ADHD, dyslexia and other forms of neurodivergence, positioning Understood.org as a credible, judgment-free resource.

The film will roll out across TV, online video and radio throughout October, timed to ADHD and Learning Disabilities Awareness Month, supported by a 360-degree social, influencer and earned media effort.

The larger campaign reflects Understood's brand refresh, created in collaboration with the agency Ghost Note, which includes new positioning, language and visuals.

The growing noise

For over 10 years, Understood has been a trusted source for millions of families whose kids learn and think differently. In that time, conversation around neurodivergence has exploded.

But more conversation brings more noise; research found that 52% of videos about ADHD and 41% of videos about autism on TikTok are inaccurate or misleading.1 This can have real consequences: One in four caregivers regret a health decision for their child based on conflicting information.2

"'Less Noise, More Understood' captures something we believe deeply: No one should have to wade through misleading information and false claims just to find real answers to questions about their health and well-being," said Nathan Friedman, co-president and chief marketing officer at Understood. "Social media mentions of 'neurodivergence' more than quadrupled between 2021 and 2025, and they're still climbing. As the conversation grows, this community deserves credible information that's easy to find, trust and act on. That's why Understood exists. We get you, and help guide you."

"Less Noise, More Understood" film

Parents of neurodivergent kids, especially moms, are often inundated daily with unsolicited opinions from others. And while everyone has an opinion, no one is accountable for the outcome except Mom and Dad.

The brand film personifies those unsolicited opinions as recurring characters (the "noise") — showing up as a fellow parent at drop-off, a social-media influencer, and an AI agent — who literally follow a mom, Alice, and her young daughter with ADHD, Sam, through their day.

Sophie Susskind, the young actress who plays Sam, has ADHD and dyslexia. The film's director, William Howe, has ADHD as well. Licensed psychologist and Understood expert Dr. Andrew Kahn guided the creative process throughout, so the depictions and emotions on screen stay true to the families it's intended to reach.

- The noise that follows you: The characters appear in-frame through escalating whip-pans that build in speed and volume. During school drop-off and pick-up, while driving and at the supermarket, Alice is trailed by contradictory and false claims about Sam's ADHD.

- Finding clarity: When Alice opens Understood.org and finds answers, the noise vanishes in a hard cut to silence. By the next morning, the noise is gone — leaving calm, clarity and a confident parent who no longer feels alone.

- The core promise: The film emphasizes Understood's commitment to turning noise around neurodivergence into actionable information and tools that people can trust, all for free — grounded in research and built alongside over 90 clinicians, educators and parents, many of them neurodivergent themselves.

Turning noise into trusted support

The campaign points families to Understood's free, expert-vetted resources, giving them a way to break through the noise:

- IEP Guide for Parents, an interactive guide that breaks down the Individualized Education Program process.

- Understood Podcast Network, featuring 13 ad-free shows exploring neurodivergent experiences.

- Through My Eyes, an immersive experience that takes people through the everyday life of kids with ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia, plus resources to support them.

- Understood News, a dedicated news and content studio, which fact-checks and explains the latest headlines and social commentary around neurodivergence.

- Understood Assistant, an AI-powered chat tool that quickly provides tailored answers — drawn only from Understood's expert-vetted content library.

The film and brand platform were created by Stagwell's global communications agency, Allison Worldwide in partnership with Sidekick, Allison's creative studio. Find the full list of credits for the film here.

Nisos Launches Identity Integrity to Help Organizations Corroborate Who Job Candidates Truly Are

New Solution Cross-References Candidate Identity Signals in Minutes, Helping Organizations Surface Inconsistencies and Potential Risks

ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nisos, the leader in intelligence-driven human risk management solutions, today announced the launch of Identity Integrity, a new module within its Ascend™ platform that enables organizations to rapidly corroborate an individual's identity using independent sources of intelligence.

As organizations contend with remote workforces, increasingly sophisticated identity fraud and AI-enabled fabrication, verifying that a person is who they claim to be has become a more complex security challenge. A legitimate document or matching database record can establish that information exists, but it does not necessarily establish that the person behind that information is consistent, traceable and real.

Identity Integrity is designed to address that gap. The client-led, on-demand capability cross-references information an organization already has about an individual against multiple, independent sources, including official public records, breach data, investigation databases and digital footprint information. In minutes, it produces an Identity Integrity Report that identifies inconsistencies, gaps, and other signals that may warrant additional scrutiny.

"Organizations have spent years getting better at verifying documents, records and credentials. But the more important question is whether those pieces of information actually belong to the person presenting them," said Ryan LaSalle, CEO of Nisos. "Identity Integrity brings the intelligence tradecraft we use in complex investigations into a scalable platform experience, giving organizations another way to establish confidence before an individual gains trusted access."

Moving Beyond Document Verification

Traditional identity verification can confirm that an identification document is legitimate or that information matches an available record. Identity Integrity takes a different approach by looking for corroboration across independent sources.

The module can use information such as a person's name, email address, phone number, address, resume and professional profiles to identify whether their identity and history hold together across the available evidence. A lack of expected information can itself be a signal; for example, an experienced professional whose identity leaves little or no historical digital footprint may warrant further investigation.

Identity Integrity is designed to complement — not replace — existing identity verification and background-check processes. It provides risk signals and the evidence behind those signals rather than making decisions on an organization's behalf.

Identity Assurance Across the Workforce Lifecycle

Identity Integrity is available exclusively through the Ascend platform and is designed for use across multiple points in the employee lifecycle, including:

- Pre-Hire Review: Corroborate a candidate's identity and provide information earlier in the hiring process, helping teams identify potential synthetic identities, employment discrepancies and other indicators that warrant closer review.

- Employee Investigations: Provide a rapid identity-focused assessment when insider-threat monitoring, HR concerns or other circumstances raise questions about an existing employee's identity or credentials.

- Identity Assurance at Scale: Following a security event or discovery, such as a suspected nation-state-linked infiltration, assess sensitive populations or broader workforces to identify individuals whose information contains inconsistencies or signals requiring further investigation.

Identity Integrity reports provide an overall discrepancy score, along with detail on the specific signals and underlying evidence supporting the assessment. Organizations can use those findings to determine whether to proceed, investigate further, or escalate to a deeper analyst-led investigation. Identity Integrity is also API-enabled to support integration with applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and security workflows.

When more extensive investigation is warranted, organizations can use Identity Integrity findings to support their own internal review or escalate to Nisos' analyst-led Employment Shield investigations.

Intelligence Tradecraft, Delivered Through Ascend

Identity Integrity expands the capabilities of Ascend, Nisos' AI-powered human risk management platform. Built on Nisos' intelligence tradecraft and analyst expertise, Ascend enables organizations to conduct client-led risk assessments and monitor human-driven threats at scale.

"Identity risk is no longer confined to the point where someone presents an ID," added LaSalle. "The real challenge is connecting the dots across the information that exists about an individual, and recognizing when those dots don't connect. Intelligence-led identity corroboration can give security and risk teams a valuable additional layer, while keeping the judgment about what to do with said intelligence firmly with the client."

About Nisos

Nisos is a human risk intelligence company. We help organizations answer the hard questions about people — who is targeting your executives, who is really behind that hire, who inside your organization is becoming a risk, and who you're really doing business with. Founded by former intelligence community professionals, Nisos combines analyst-led tradecraft with AI-powered technology to surface the risks that live outside the firewall — where traditional security tools, background checks, and internal monitoring can't see. The Ascend™ platform puts that capability in clients' hands at scale, while our analyst-led services provide the depth, attribution, and investigation that complex cases demand. Quantum Space Executes Launch Processing Agreement with All Points Logistics for Prime Mission

New mission-specific agreement provides spacecraft processing, propellant servicing and launch-site activities at Vandenberg Space Force Base

ROCKVILLE, Md. and MERRITT ISLAND, Fla., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Quantum Space, LLC (the "Company" or "Quantum Space"), a company developing the next generation of advanced maneuverable spacecraft for national security and commercial missions, today announced that it has executed a new spacecraft processing work order with All Points Logistics, LLC ("All Points") for the launch campaign for Quantum Space's Prime mission.

Prime is a pathfinder mission for the Company's Ranger and Scout platform and will help the Company evaluate spacecraft performance, payload hosting, and data collection. Quantum Space has completed a Systems Integration Review for the mission and is targeting the second half of 2027 for launch. Under the agreement, All Points will provide specialized spacecraft processing services in preparation for the launch, including clean-room facilities, propellant servicing support, launch-site safety and operational reviews, ground support activities, and transportation to the launch vehicle integration facility. The work is scheduled to support Prime launch preparations in 2027.

"This agreement comes as Prime moves into the detailed planning and execution stage required to successfully conduct a launch campaign," said Kerry Wisnosky, President of Quantum Space. "Many activities must come together between completing a spacecraft and getting it safely integrated onto a launch vehicle, and All Points brings the specialized infrastructure, people and launch-site experience required to help us execute that process."

The new work order builds upon an existing Master Services Agreement between the two companies. It establishes a specific scope of work for the Prime mission, focused on ground processing and launch-site activities required for Prime at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, representing another concrete step toward launch.

"Supporting Prime is exactly the type of mission where All Points' launch infrastructure and spacecraft processing capabilities can make a difference," said Phil Monkress, President and CEO of All Points Logistics. "We are pleased to expand our relationship with Quantum Space and support their team as Ranger Prime advances toward launch."

Prime will be the first of Quantum Space's high-performance class spacecraft, being developed to provide customers with significant maneuverability, long-duration operations and the ability to host and support a broad range of national security and commercial missions.

"Securing our launch-site processing capability is another important element of mitigating execution risk as we move Prime toward flight," Wisnosky added. "Our focus now is on completing the spacecraft, executing the environmental test campaign and moving through launch integration and ultimately to on-orbit operations."

Survey: 63% of Americans open to letting AI choose brands for 20% savings

Brand loyalty may be one of the first casualties of agentic commerce, but consumers draw a much harder line when AI gets control of their money

DURHAM, N.C., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A nationwide survey of 2,000 U.S. adults conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Spreedly (www.spreedly.com) found that 63% would or might allow an AI shopping assistant to choose brands for them if it consistently saved them 20% on purchases.

The findings come as AI shopping agents such as Meta's new Muse move from product discovery into checkout, raising new questions about how much purchasing control consumers are willing to hand to AI. The survey suggests the relationship between consumers and brands could change significantly as AI becomes more involved in purchasing decisions.

Brand loyalty appears especially vulnerable among younger consumers. Thirty-four percent of Gen Z and 30% of Millennials said they would give up brand loyalty if an AI assistant consistently found the best products at the lowest prices. Among parents with children under five, 60% said they would allow AI to choose brands if doing so consistently saved them 20%.

The shift is also visible in product research. Across all respondents, Google Search remains the most trusted source at 25%, followed by friends and family at 22%. Among Gen Z, however, 31% selected ChatGPT as the source they trust most for product research, compared with 12% for Google Search. ChatGPT also ranked ahead of friends and family, online reviews, and retailer websites among Gen Z respondents.

"Consumers may increasingly rely on an agent to decide which brand wins the purchase, but they still expect control when money moves," said Justin Benson, CEO of Spreedly. "That changes the transaction environment for merchants."

Consumers will delegate choice before control

Even when AI saves consumers money, 43% say they would still insist on deciding how much to spend and 41% would retain control over which payment method is used.

Only 20% would allow an AI shopping assistant to spend money without approval, while another 16% would permit autonomous spending only for small purchases. Nearly two-thirds (64%) would not allow AI to spend without approval.

Consumers are also hesitant to give agents direct access to payment information. Only 19% would allow an AI shopping assistant access in exchange for a guarantee of the lowest price available online, while 23% said maybe and 58% said no.

Fraud remains the biggest barrier to autonomous shopping

More than half of respondents (52%) cited fear of fraud as something that would prevent them from allowing AI to complete a purchase, followed by lack of trust in AI companies (45%) and fear of overspending (40%).

Consumers also place responsibility primarily on AI providers. If an AI assistant selected a product and something went wrong, 41% said they would primarily hold the AI company responsible, compared with 13% who would blame the retailer and 6% the payment provider.

No company has established a dominant position in consumer trust. Google ranked first among potential AI shopping providers at just 13%, followed by PayPal at 11%, Amazon at 10%, and Walmart at 10%.

Sidero Labs launches Talos Director, a resource management platform for data centers
Image File
Original HTML

Now in Limited Availability with a live demo at TalosCon 2026 in Amsterdam

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sidero Labs today introduced Talos Director, a powerful new alternative to VMware and similar products for enterprises reassessing their cloud infrastructure options. Built on Talos Linux and Talos Hypervisor, Talos Director is a single management platform that runs and manages virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, storage and networking on one immutable operating system. The immutable, declarative configuration that keeps Talos Kubernetes clusters from drifting now applies to VM workloads and data center resource management.

A future-proof platform that requires no platform reengineering

Talos Director's migration engine converts existing VMware virtual machines and Kubernetes clusters without requiring any application changes. Talos Director is already running workloads across thousands of virtual machines and hundreds of Kubernetes clusters at Yardi, which acquired Sidero Labs in July 2026.

"Talos Director lets enterprises move off VMware without rearchitecting anything," said Steve Francis, president of Sidero Labs. "Their virtual machines move as they are and immediately gain the security and reliability of a modern, immutable operating system. When they're ready for Kubernetes, it's the same platform, the same API and the same team. They're adopting their future platform on their own schedule."

Talos Director provides centralized lifecycle management for virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, storage and networking. Features proven in production at scale include live migration, high availability, auto-scaling, resource scheduling based on performance metrics, micro-segmentation and live traffic analysis.

"Yardi has transitioned thousands of virtual machines and hundreds of Kubernetes clusters from VMware to Talos Director," said Joel Loewen, vice president of Yardi Cloud. "The Talos Director conversion and migration functionality has been invaluable and allowed us to transition without any platform reengineering. We are on track to completely transition Yardi Cloud to Talos Director."

Availability

Talos Director is now in Limited Availability. Limited Availability customers receive full production support and direct engagement with Sidero Labs engineering during onboarding. General availability is planned for January 2027. A live demo will be shown at TalosCon 2026 in Amsterdam, October 15-16. Organizations interested in Talos Director can learn more at https://www.siderolabs.com/getdirector.

About Sidero Labs

Park Place Technologies' New AI-Powered Platform Provides Full View of IT Infrastructure Health

Park Place Technologies' New AI-Powered Platform Provides Full View of IT Infrastructure Health

AI platform scores every server, storage and network device from 0 to 100, giving IT teams OEM-level data to decide whether to refresh, repair or retire equipment.

CLEVELAND, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ParkView Asset Intelligence, an AI-powered platform that shows IT managers the health of their infrastructure and insights to act on it, launched today from Park Place Technologies.

Called ParkView Asset IntelligenceTM, the new proprietary platform provides a detailed view into the condition of hardware devices, including servers, storage, network, security appliances and hyperconverged infrastructure, at a level previously only accessible to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

"ParkView Asset Intelligence is able to provide the insights, previously only visible to OEMs, to our customers and business partners – empowering them to make the most informed asset and financial decisions for their enterprises," said Chris Adams, CEO, Park Place Technologies. "Significant resources have been dedicated to its development."

Each lifecycle health score, expressed as a 0 to 100 rating, is built from three streams of data – Park Place's own hardware maintenance records, spanning more than 35 years and a million serviced assets across every major manufacturer; regional spare-parts availability; and customers' own asset performance and service history.

A score of 66 means something very different once a team can see that comparable devices in the same model family average 92, Adams gave as an example. The result is designed to help experienced IT teams decide whether to refresh, repair or retire a specific piece of hardware.

Paul Bevan, Research Director, IT Infrastructure for independent industry analyst firm Bloor Research said "In reality, it is at the same time both prosaic but, potentially, hugely impactful. What Park Place Technologies has done is to build an intelligence system on top of the huge amount of data that ParkView holds about the health, performance, and lifecycle of every asset in a customer's environment, helping make maintenance and refresh decisions planned, not reactive."

What ParkView Asset Intelligence Does

The platform combines hardware telemetry, Park Place's service history and live supply-chain data into a single view of fleet health:

- Scores every asset, 0 to 100 – Hardware-level data is collected out-of-band from enrolled assets, independent of the operating system, so scoring continues even when the OS is unreachable. Each score is paired with a confidence indicator.

- Reads failure patterns no single customer can see – Park Place service records across nearly one million of hardware assets reveal how specific models fail, and at what age. No individual enterprise runs a fleet large enough to detect those patterns on its own.

- Factors in whether parts actually exist – data on spare-part stock by geography feeds directly into the score, so an asset's supportability in its own region is part of the reading rather than a separate calculation.

- Surfaces risk before it becomes a failure – Configuration problems, firmware gaps and deteriorating component trends move the score before they generate a support ticket.

- Benchmarks against the peer group – Every score is set against aggregated data from comparable devices across Park Place's global customer base, showing whether an asset is performing above or below the expected range for its model.

- Rolls up to the whole fleet – A portfolio dashboard breaks health scores out by OEM, product family and location, making it possible to spot trends across thousands of assets and concentrate attention where it matters most.

For organizations running hardware past OEM support on a third-party maintenance contract, the scores supply the documented evidence needed to justify that decision internally — or the early warning needed to act before a failure forces the issue.

"IT managers using ParkView Asset Intelligence gain visibility not just into their own assets' data, but into how those assets compare to thousands of similar devices at every stage of the lifecycle," said Daniel Nelson, Chief Product Officer, Park Place Technologies. "We can now give users an objective, data-driven picture of where their infrastructure stands, and help them anticipate what to do next.

"For example, data across hundreds of thousands of device health assessments from multiple tier-1 OEMs reveals that about 1 in 50 devices today have been identified as high risk, indicating a change is needed. The insights gathered from those devices help ParkView Asset Intelligence customers to take action on their lifecycle decisions faster and avoid a break that causes prolonged downtime."

Availability

The beta version of ParkView Asset Intelligence is available now to all existing Park Place customers and will close on October 31. New customers of Park Place can receive the full version of ParkView Asset Intelligence immediately.

Harmonic Launches Recon Product Family Developed in Partnership with Comcast

New Solution Expands Harmonic's Network Intelligence Portfolio and Brings Comcast-Developed Fiber Monitoring Technology to Broadband Operators, Providing Real-Time Network Visibility, Proactive Fault Detection and Faster Resolution

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT) today introduced Recon, a new family of network monitoring and measurement solutions developed in collaboration with Comcast to help broadband operators detect network issues earlier, pinpoint their location and resolve them faster. The initial Recon offering is built on XMFR fiber monitoring technology developed by Comcast and proven in its network.

Harmonic and Comcast worked together to evolve the technology into a commercial solution that can be deployed by broadband operators and other infrastructure providers, combining Comcast's network technology and operational experience with Harmonic's broadband portfolio and global reach. Comcast's technology continuously monitors performance to identify changes that can indicate degradation or fiber cuts and provide precise location information to network teams.

Recon pairs in-network monitoring hardware and handheld diagnostic tools with cloud-based software to provide real-time visibility across fiber infrastructure. The solution also integrates with Harmonic's cOS SensAI™ intelligence fabric, which uses network data collected by Recon to proactively detect faults and validate remediation.

"Subscribers today expect nothing less than a flawless connectivity experience. With broadband networks expanding rapidly, operators often lack the real-time visibility to detect minor issues before they become large-scale outages," said Yaniv Ben-Soussan, Senior Vice President of Cloud and Intelligence Platform at Harmonic. "Our new Recon family gives broadband service providers the critical intelligence they need to detect problems early and confidently deliver exceptional connectivity that build long-term subscriber loyalty."

Recon helps operators:

- Act before customers notice: Continuously identify network degradation and service-impacting events and pinpoint the location and severity of faults.

- Resolve issues faster: Give field technicians more precise diagnostics and information to help reduce the time required to locate and repair network problems.

- Expand network visibility cost effectively: Deploy monitoring across access, metro and core networks as well as data center interconnect links.

"XMFR grew out of a challenge our teams were solving every day inside Comcast's network: how to see problems developing across fiber infrastructure and give our teams better information to address them quickly," said Elad Nafshi, Chief Network Officer, Comcast. "Our work with Harmonic takes that innovation beyond our own network, combining Comcast-developed technology with Harmonic's capabilities to give other operators a smarter way to monitor and manage their fiber infrastructure."

The launch builds on Comcast and Harmonic's longstanding collaboration on software-powered broadband technologies. Harmonic plans to expand the Recon family over time as it broadens its network intelligence portfolio.

Harmonic will showcase Recon at SCTE TechExpo26 in booth A153.
