TCL Showcases 5G AI CPE X5 at Network X 2026, Bringing Comprehensive AI-Powered Optimization to Home Broadband

VIENNA, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TCL, a global leader in consumer electronics, showcases its flagship 5G AI CPE X5 at Network X 2026. Positioned as a comprehensive agentic AI 5G CPE, X5 features natural-language interaction, AI network optimization, application-aware QoS, proactive diagnosis and self-recovery, and an extensible AI service platform—making connectivity more reliable and effortless for households while helping reduce operators' O&M workload.

The X5 is designed for homes and small businesses seeking a premium broadband experience, from remote work and gaming to smart-home connectivity. Recently, it was named a 2026 IFA Innovation Award Honoree.

An AI Agent That Turns User Intent into Action

The X5's unified agentic architecture enables its AI agent to interpret user intent and coordinate sensing, decision-making, execution and recovery. Instead of navigating individual settings, users can express a desired outcome. For supported tasks, the agent can coordinate network checks, traffic prioritization, mode switching and compatible-device control. For example, a user could ask the X5 to optimize the network for a gaming session, and the agent can adjust supported settings based on network conditions.

Specialized AI Engines for Adaptive 5G and Wi-Fi Connectivity

The X5 applies specialized AI engines across the connectivity path, from 5G reception to indoor Wi-Fi coverage.

For cellular connectivity, AI analyzes signal quality to help select the antenna configuration for better reception. Its 8Rx architecture combines four directional C-band antennas with up to 13 dBi gain and four omnidirectional C-band antennas, delivering up to 51% higher downlink throughput than a 4Rx design in lab testing. Supporting 3GPP Release 18, X5 offers a theoretical peak downlink rate of 7.01 Gbps.

For indoor Wi-Fi, AI-assisted signal-path selection, together with congestion detection and channel adjustment, helps maintain fast, stable connectivity.

Proactive Network Self-Care, from Diagnosis to Recovery

X5 monitors Wi-Fi, LAN, cellular connectivity and system operation through a closed-loop process: detecting conditions, diagnosing supported issues, performing recovery actions, verifying results and recording outcomes. Supported recovery scenarios include certain congestion conditions, module anomalies, resource overload and parameter drift.

Network health reports provide visibility for users and support teams. Where integration is enabled, cloud management and operator systems link local diagnostics with further assistance.

Smarter Traffic, Power and Access Management

Local AI QoS recognizes supported gaming, streaming and video-call traffic, prioritizing selected latency-sensitive flows when applications share the connection.

Adaptive power management adjusts power modes based on usage scenarios and application traffic. Device identification helps users spot unfamiliar devices, while AI-assisted traffic analysis can identify certain unusual access patterns. Parental controls and guest-access settings offer additional household management options.

Beyond Connectivity: A New Connected-Living AI Hub

TCL presents a broader vision for the X5 as a connected-living AI hub, bringing together on-device computing, a unified AI OS and a Home Computing Center. The envisioned architecture aims to support local multi-agent scheduling and offline execution of supported tasks, with an emphasis on user control over personal data.

Integrated model and skill stores, alongside a unified runtime, are envisioned to support capability expansion and developer deployment. Operators could explore customized AI agents and service packages, with selected capabilities extending to compatible NAS devices, AI cameras and mesh networking equipment.

Beyond the X5, TCL showcases the prplWare-certified TCL LINKHUB HH516 5G FWA CPE, Wi-Fi 8 CPEs and routers, kids' smartwatches, and TCL Tbot, a smart desktop companion designed to extend the kids' smartwatch experience. Across its connectivity portfolio, TCL is exploring AI, next-generation Wi-Fi, 5G and 5G-A technologies to help operators develop more adaptive and user-friendly connectivity services.

Chinese Documentary Screening and Creator Exchange Event Held in the U.S.

CHENGDU, China, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On August 26, a Chinese documentary screening and creator exchange event focused on cross-cultural documentary filmmaking was held in New York. Two documentaries, produced by Chengdu Plus, "Hope for the Future: Bernard Loeffke" and "The Unending Journey: Roger T. Ames and Chinese Philosophy," were screened at the event, which was attended by approximately 50 academic experts, representatives from cultural institutions, film and television professionals, and local audience members.

The documentary "Hope for the Future: Bernard Loeffke" was produced by a Chinese creative team and runs approximately 30 minutes. The film centers on the personal story of Bernard Loeffke, a 92-year-old retired U.S. Army major general, using interviews, historical materials, and archival footage to trace his real experiences of engaging with Chinese society at different stages of his life, including learning Chinese, encountering traditional Chinese medicine, and skydiving with Chinese people. These experiences span different eras and served as important source material for the film's creation. Drawing from Loeffke's experiences, the creative team organized related figures, events, and historical materials to present a cross-cultural journey spanning decades through his story.

The documentary "The Unending Journey: Roger T. Ames and Chinese Philosophy" turns its lens on an American philosopher and his research in Chinese-Western comparative philosophy, with a total runtime of approximately 40 minutes. Roger T. Ames, now 80 years old, has long been engaged in translating Chinese philosophical classics into English and in comparative philosophy research. The film follows his current work and daily life in China, including his teaching and research activities as a Humanities Chair Professor at Peking University, as well as his approach to interpreting traditional Chinese philosophical texts. As a scholar who has long worked to disseminate Chinese philosophy in English, Ames holds a certain influence in the fields of Western sinology and comparative philosophy, and his translations and perspectives have drawn attention in relevant academic circles. Through an examination of Ames's academic trajectory and personal experience, the film presents the decades-long scholarly connection between a foreign scholar and Chinese philosophy.

Akiram Therapeutics: First clinical results from AKIR001 to be presented at EANM 2026

Akiram Therapeutics, a Swedish clinical-stage biotech company specializing in molecular radiotherapy, announces that the first clinical data from the ongoing Phase I trial of its lead drug candidate 177Lu-AKIR001 will be presented at the EANM 2026 Congress in Vienna, October 17-21. Preliminary results show a favorable safety profile within the investigated activity range and sustained tumor retention, supporting continued dose escalation and further clinical evaluation of AKIR001.

UPPSALA, Sweden, October 13 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The abstract presenting the first clinical results from the ongoing first-in-human trial has been selected as a Top Rated Oral Presentation (TROP) at EANM 2026. The study is evaluating ¹⁷⁷Lu-AKIR001 in patients with irresectable or metastatic CD44v6-positive solid tumors who have no remaining standard treatment options.

At the data cut-off, eight patients had been treated. No dose-limiting toxicities were observed, and treatment-related adverse events were limited to grade 1–2. Four patients received repeat treatment after the first administration.

Quantitative imaging showed sustained tumor retention of ¹⁷⁷Lu-AKIR001, with clearance from blood and normal tissues. Low CD44v6 expression, as determined by immunohistochemistry (IHC), was consistently associated with low absorbed tumor doses. These findings highlight the potential of IHC as a valuable tool for patient stratification and optimized patient selection prior to treatment.

"These first clinical results represent an important milestone for AKIR001. We are encouraged by the safety profile and sustained tumor retention observed so far. It is particularly encouraging that patients have been able to receive repeat treatment, which is an important consideration as development progresses," says Marika Nestor, CEO of Akiram Therapeutics.

A second study involving Akiram's CD44v6-targeting platform has also been selected as a Top Rated Oral Presentation at EANM 2026. This preclinical study evaluates AKIR001 and a derived scFv antibody format for theranostic applications in bladder cancer, extending the evaluation of Akiram's approach to a new tumor type and antibody format.

TGS Announces Pelotas Sul Phase 2 Multi-Client Survey Offshore Brazil
Image File
Original HTML

OSLO, Norway (13 October 2026) – TGS, a global provider of energy data and intelligence, in joint venture with SLB, announces the Pelotas Sul Phase 2 multi-client 3D survey offshore southern Brazil. The survey will cover approximately 11,200 square kilometers.

A Ramform Titan-class vessel is scheduled to commence data acquisition in October 2026, with completion in Q2/Q3 2027.

Building on Pelotas Sul Phase 1, acquired earlier this year, the new survey will further expand TGS' high-quality 3D seismic coverage in a frontier basin that continues to attract industry interest. The Pelotas Basin is supported by geological analogs along the conjugate margin and de-risked by discoveries in Namibia. The basin offers a broad range of underexplored play concepts, including turbidite systems, deep-water channels, and stratigraphic and structural traps.

Pelotas Sul Phase 2 includes a balanced mix of held and open acreage. This provides data coverage relevant to companies evaluating existing acreage, while also creating opportunities linked to future licensing rounds and potential farm-in activity.

Kristian Johansen, CEO of TGS, commented: “Pelotas Sul Phase 2 builds on the strong foundation established by Phase 1 and further expands our coverage in a basin that is attracting growing client interest. The project will provide additional high-quality subsurface insight across both held and open acreage, supporting our customers as they evaluate existing positions and future exploration opportunities in the southern Pelotas Basin.”

GFI Builds Eloquens® AI Directly Into GFI KerioConnect®, Bringing an AI Email Assistant to More Than 30,000 Organizations That Run Their Own Mail

Announced in Prague at ZEBR.AI Roadshow Praha 2026: GFI KerioConnect with embedded AI mail assistant delivers personalized, bespoke handling of user emails

PRAGUE, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- GFI Software, a global leader in AI-powered security and communications solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), today announced that Eloquens AI is now built directly into GFI KerioConnect, the mail and collaboration server deployed by more than 30,000 organizations around the world. GFI CEO Eric Vaughan announced the new innovation during his keynote at ZEBR.AI Roadshow Praha 2026, in the country where Kerio was founded in 1997.

AI email assistants such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and Gmail's Gemini were built for organizations that had already moved their mail to someone else's cloud. Many GFI KerioConnect customers run their own mail on purpose, to control their data, meet regulations or keep costs down. Eloquens AI gives them considerable AI help without giving up that choice.

"Since the start of the GenAI revolution, AI in email came with a hidden price tag: move your mail to Microsoft or Google first," said Eric Vaughan, CEO of GFI Software and IgniteTech. "Tens of thousands of GFI KerioConnect customers chose to run their own mail for security and privacy and they should not be penalized for that choice. Now we are delivering one of the most advanced AI email assistants in the market, inside the server they already own."

The inbox, handled before you open it

Within minutes of a message arriving, Eloquens AI decides what it needs. Notifications and newsletters move to a No Reply Needed folder. Messages that need a decision stay in the inbox, clearly labeled. Routine questions get a reply waiting in Drafts, written in the user's own voice and ready to review and send. Every decision comes with its reasoning, so users can act faster with more confidence. Eloquens AI works in GFI KerioConnect webmail, the desktop client and Microsoft Outlook.

The customer stays in control

Eloquens AI is off until an administrator turns it on from the GFI KerioConnect administration console. Mail stays on the customer's own server, administrators choose exactly which mailboxes get the assistant and they can turn it off at any time. One click starts a 30-day free trial, with no sales call or setup. For managed service providers (MSPs), it is a new service they can offer every customer from the console they already use.

"Kerio was born here in the Czech Republic, and our partners have trusted it with their customers' email for years," said Zdeněk Bínek, CEO of ZEBR.AI. "Eloquens AI gives every one of those partners something new to offer tomorrow morning, on servers they already manage."

Availability

Eloquens AI, the AI email automation platform GFI's sister company IgniteTech created in 2024, is available today to GFI KerioConnect customers running version 10.0.9-10757 or later. Click here to watch the demo, see how it works and start your free trial.

Doximity helps to power U.S. News' Doctor Finder, Patient Connect appointment booking tools used by over 65 million Americans annually to find and schedule care

SAN FRANCISCO and WASHINGTON, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Doximity (NYSE: DOCS), the leading digital platform for U.S. medical professionals, today announced it has extended its 13-year partnership with U.S. News & World Report, the nation's most trusted source of independent healthcare information, rankings and guidance to help patients identify the best care for their needs.

The extension reinforces Doximity's position as a trusted data provider for U.S. News' physician- and hospital-facing products. For more than three decades, U.S. News has helped patients and families make some of their most critical healthcare decisions — from identifying leading hospitals and specialty programs to researching physicians and finding appropriate care. The extended partnership combines U.S. News' trusted healthcare brand, independent rankings and consumer-facing healthcare platform with Doximity's extensive physician network, data and technology.

Doximity contributes data that is included in the U.S. News' Best Hospitals rankings and the tools that help patients find the right doctors and book appointments:

- Expert Opinion Survey: Doximity will continue as U.S. News' exclusive third-party provider of the Expert Opinion physician survey, a measure used in the Best Hospitals and Best Children's Hospitals rankings — the nation's longest-running and most widely referenced hospital quality assessment, evaluating thousands of U.S. hospitals each year since 1990.

- Doctor Finder: Doximity will continue supplying the physician profile data that powers U.S. News' Doctor Finder, helping patients book appointments with U.S. News hospital partners directly from the site. Doctor Finder has grown into one of the largest physician directories patients turn to when searching for care, drawing on Doximity's network of profiles spanning every specialty.

- Patient Connect: Doximity will continue enabling patient appointment booking for U.S. News hospital partners through its Patient Connect product, connecting patients — who have relied on U.S. News' rankings for over three decades as an independent benchmark of hospital quality — directly to the care they're seeking.

"Doximity is proud to help so many Americans compare and connect with the right medical professionals for their healthcare needs," said Jared Wilkinson, group senior vice president of Hospital Partnerships at Doximity. "Our unique data is based on our network of more than 3 million members spanning every specialty and treatment, and we're excited to continue this important and strategic relationship with U.S. News & World Report."

"Trust in our Best Hospitals rankings starts with rigorous data, and ends with patients getting the best care," said Sumita Singh, executive vice president and general manager of Health at U.S. News. "This extension keeps Doximity's physician data behind Doctor Finder and Patient Connect, connecting more than 65 million people who use our site each year to the hospitals and doctors they need, often in the same visit."

About Doximity

Founded in 2010, Doximity is the leading digital platform for U.S. medical professionals. The company's network members include more than 85% of U.S. physicians. With AI-powered clinical reference and search capabilities, Doximity helps doctors access trusted, peer-reviewed information and medical literature. Doximity's mission is to help doctors be more productive so they can provide better care for their patients.

Fosun International Wins Five Awards at The Asset Corporate Sustainability Leadership Awards 2026, Upgraded to Platinum

HONG KONG, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Fosun International Limited ("Fosun International" or the "Company") (HKEX stock code: 00656) today announced that it has been awarded the prestigious "Corporate Sustainability Leadership Awards 2026 – Platinum Award" by The Asset, a leading Asia-Pacific financial publication. Building on its Gold Award win last year, this upgrade to the Platinum Award reflects Fosun International's steadfast commitment to sustainability and its continued excellence in ESG performance.

In addition to advancing from last year's Gold Award to the Platinum Award in the main category, Fosun International earned broad acclaim from The Asset for its sustained efforts in green transition, high-quality disclosure, environmental and social responsibility, and corporate governance. Demonstrating its all-around excellence, Fosun International was also honored with four major single-category awards: "Best in Disclosure & Transition", "Best Initiative in Environmental Responsibility", "Best Initiative in Social Responsibility", and "Best Sustainability Team".

Commitment to Green Transition and Transparent Disclosure Earns Widespread Recognition for ESG Excellence

Fosun International remains steadfast in its long-term commitment to sustainability and has delivered strong results across major global ESG ratings. To date, Fosun International's MSCI ESG Rating has been upgraded to the highest rating of AAA. It has been included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026 and also named among the Top 1% in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook (China Edition) 2026 for the third consecutive year. Its Hang Seng Sustainability Rating has been upgraded from AA- to AA+. It has also been selected as a constituent of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index for the seventh consecutive year and included as a constituent of the Hang Seng ESG 50 Index. Additionally, Fosun International's FTSE Russell ESG score has consistently been higher than the global industry average and it has remained a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series for five consecutive years.

In recent years, Fosun International has continued to strengthen its ESG management system, fully integrating sustainability into its strategic decision-making, daily operations, and every stage of its risk management process, comprehensively strengthening the Group and its member companies' capabilities and execution in managing sustainability-related issues. At the same time, Fosun International actively supports China's "dual carbon" goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, advancing initiatives in carbon neutrality, energy conservation, emissions reduction, and climate risk management. In 2026, the Company continued its voluntary disclosure practice by releasing its fourth Climate Information Disclosures Report, further enhancing the systematic approach and transparency of its climate-related disclosures.

Actively Responding to Climate Change and Protecting Biodiversity

The Group actively encourages its member companies to carry out climate actions. The Bund Finance Center (BFC), the Group's main office and a landmark in Shanghai, introduced and followed the LEED Certification, which is hailed as the "Oscar Award" in the green building industry, from the early planning stage. In 2025, 97% of Club Med's eligible resorts successfully passed audits and obtained the Green Globe Certification, the world's leading certification for sustainable tourism. Atlantis Sanya, Taicang Alps Resort and Lijiang Club Med Resort had also obtained LEED Gold Certification, demonstrating Fosun's ongoing efforts and achievements in green building and sustainable tourism.

In addition to honoring Fosun International with "Best in Disclosure & Transition" for its determined efforts to advance low-carbon transition and its high-quality disclosure, The Asset presented the Company with "Best Initiative in Environmental Responsibility" in recognition of its deep commitment to addressing climate change and protecting biodiversity. Notably, The Asset singled out the Sea Turtle Shelter project at the Atlantis Sanya aquarium for special praise.

As early as 2018, Atlantis Sanya, a subsidiary of Fosun, officially established an aquatic wildlife rescue station. Over the years, it has rescued a total of 42 wild sea turtles. On 23 May this year, World Turtle Day, the Sea Turtle Shelter at the Atlantis Sanya aquarium was officially inaugurated. Sea turtles with minor injuries are treated and released back into the sea upon full recovery, while those unable to return to the wild are given a permanent home at the shelter. Covering an area of 388 square meters, the Sea Turtle Shelter features rehabilitation pools, an educational exhibition hall, and breeding beaches designed to replicate a natural ecosystem, offering both a recovery space and long-term habitat for sea turtles.

Leveraging Innovation to Deliver Lasting Social Impact

Fosun adheres to an innovation-driven strategy, continuously delivering innovative achievements across its businesses to better serve society. In the Health business segment, Fosun targets unmet medical needs, with a strategic focus on key therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology and inflammation, and neurodegenerative diseases, while actively expanding into cardiometabolic diseases and rare diseases. This approach enables the development of high valued competitive pipelines and comprehensive healthcare solutions. Meanwhile, it continues to consolidate its core technical platforms including antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), small molecules, and cell therapies, while expanding into cutting-edge therapeutic modalities such as radiopharmaceuticals and small nucleic acids. Its innovative products are now available in more than 90 countries and regions worldwide. In the first half of 2026, a total of 20 indications of 7 innovative drugs were approved for launch both domestically and internationally. Meanwhile, HANSIZHUANG, HLX43, and other marketed and pipeline innovative drugs achieved several "world's first" breakthroughs.

In global public health, as of 30 June 2026, Fosun Pharma had cumulatively supplied more than 460 million vials of artesunate for injection worldwide, saving more than 92 million patients with severe malaria.

Strengthening Social Responsibility and Empowering Primary Healthcare through Technology

In order to better promote the fulfillment and implementation of corporate social responsibility, Fosun Foundation was established in 2012. It has been making unremitting efforts in areas such as global emergency relief, rural revitalization, health, education, culture and art, youth development, to create social value. In presenting Fosun International with "Best Initiative in Social Responsibility", The Asset singled out its "Rural Doctors" corporate social responsibility program and commended its introduction of the "AI Rural Doctor Assistant" into primary healthcare to expand access to healthcare and improve efficiency.

Since the launch of the Rural Doctors Program at the end of 2017, the program has covered 78 counties in 16 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions across the country, supporting 25,000 rural doctors and benefiting 3 million rural families. To harness AI to support rural revitalization and strengthen primary healthcare, Fosun Foundation partnered with the Alibaba Foundation to launch the "AI Rural Doctor Assistant", a technology-driven philanthropic initiative. It transforms the Rural Doctors' Pocket Guide, a clinical reference jointly compiled by experts, into a digital database. Rural doctors can access its intelligent question-and-answer interface at any time via a mobile phone or computer, helping them diagnose and treat patients more efficiently.

Fostering ESG culture from the top down and building a long-term ESG management system

Fosun prioritizes sustainability and has established a top-down and long-term mechanism for ESG improvement. The Company has included ESG management performance in the performance assessment not only for executive directors, but also for the CEOs of the Group and the personnel in charge of each business group. Fosun consistently fosters an ESG culture from the top down. Through regular global ESG networking workshops, ESG culture week activities and its ESG digital platform, the Company has established open and transparent communication channels across its member companies. These channels facilitate the ongoing sharing of best practices and help subsidiaries advance their ESG initiatives. The Company also maintains effective and transparent communication with stakeholders and rating agencies. The "Best Sustainability Team" award from The Asset underscores market recognition of the Company's ESG management and its efforts to advance environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance.

Looking ahead, as a global enterprise rooted in China, Fosun will continue to uphold its original aspiration of "Contribution to Society". Through continuous innovation and responsible global operations, Fosun will actively shoulder more social responsibility, striving to build a more responsible, inclusive, and sustainable future.

Introducing Autonex: the leading international automotive marketplace group across Europe and Canada

MUNICH, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The leading international automotive marketplace group launches today as one new unified entity, bringing together trusted brands including AutoScout24 and AutoTrader.ca across nine markets in Europe and Canada.

With annual revenues exceeding €800 million, Autonex and its subsidiaries ("the Group") bring together more than 40 million unique monthly users, over 45,000 dealer partners and more than two million vehicle listings at any given time. Across its portfolio, the Group holds leading market positions in most of the markets in which it operates, including Canada, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and the Nordics.

The launch of Autonex reflects the Group's increasing operational and technological integration around a shared platform featuring Autonex Intelligence. Autonex Intelligence is a suite of AI-powered products and capabilities built on trusted proprietary data, enabling new ways of interaction, automation and decision support for dealers and consumers alike. The shared platform provides a single focus for the Group's continued development.

The Group will continue to go to market through its established consumer- and dealer-facing brands, including AutoScout24 in Europe, AutoTrader.ca and AutoHebdo.net in Canada, LeasingMarkt.de in Germany, and AutoProff in European B2B wholesale.

"Autonex will redefine automotive marketplaces," said CEO Peter Brooks-Johnson. "We have built a business with the scale, technology and ambition to transform how vehicles are bought, sold and leased across Europe and Canada. By bringing together trusted brands on a single AI-enabled platform, we can innovate faster, deliver better outcomes for dealers and create a better experience for consumers."

Autonex is built on a unique combination of three key pillars which provide the foundation for the Group's long-term growth and value creation:

- Leading automotive marketplaces that connect buyers and sellers at scale across Europe and Canada.

- A shared, scalable platform that allows products, commercial capabilities and best practices to be rolled out efficiently across markets.

- An extensive suite of dealer solutions, including cross-border B2B trading through AutoProff.

A shared platform designed to scale

At the heart of Autonex is a single platform shared across all markets. Built on trusted proprietary marketplace data from millions of consumer interactions, dealer relationships and vehicle listings, it allows the Group to scale products, commercial capabilities and innovation quickly across countries while preserving strong local market expertise.

Autonex Intelligence: Turning AI into better outcomes for dealers and consumers

Autonex brings together its Group-wide AI capabilities under Autonex Intelligence, combining AI with trusted proprietary marketplace data and deep integration into the automotive journey to create tangible value for dealers and consumers. By improving product performance and broadening Autonex's offering across its marketplaces, these capabilities create additional commercial and growth opportunities. They are brought to market through AutoScout24 Intelligence in Europe and AutoTrader Intelligence in Canada.

AI supports both sides of the marketplace, helping consumers make better purchase decisions and dealers run their business more effectively. Two of the latest and upcoming Autonex Intelligence innovations include:

- Conversational search: As consumers increasingly turn to AI to research products and inform purchase decisions, conversational search brings this behaviour directly into the automotive marketplace. It evolves vehicle search into a personal car-buying assistant that helps buyers navigate their options and find the right car for their individual needs and budget. For dealers, this means better-informed buyers and more relevant, higher-intent enquiries.

- A dealer agent acts as an AI-powered business partner for dealers, helping them get more value from their inventory. It turns marketplace and performance data into actionable recommendations, highlighting where dealers can improve pricing, visibility or listing quality and helping them focus on the actions that matter most.

Supporting cross-border trade

Cross-border trade is an important and growing part of the Group's dealer proposition. There are significant dealer-to-dealer trading flows between European markets resulting from differences in supply, demand, pricing and vehicle mix. Much of this trade has historically taken place on an informal basis between dealers, resulting in fragmented and often inefficient processes.

Through AutoProff and the Group's wider marketplace capabilities, Autonex aims to make these transactions more efficient and accessible by supporting dealers with sourcing, auctions, pricing, inspection, escrow, transport and tax-related services.

CCTV+: Forum on Swift Response to Public Complaints opens in Chinese capital

BEIJING, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2026 Beijing Forum on Swift Response to Public Complaints opened on Monday, with the release of a number of research findings, reports on city hotline services, and global case studies on urban governance.

Beijing's 12345 hotline is the city's unified government service platform, allowing residents to report problems, lodge complaints, and seek information on public services ranging from utilities and transportation to healthcare and housing.

Since 2019, the hotline has evolved from a traditional call center into a smart governance hub powered by big data and AI. Data generated by the hotline helps identify recurring issues and informs policy decisions, turning everyday public concerns into input for improving urban services. The hotline has so far handled around 200 million requests from individuals and businesses.

Digital technology, particularly artificial intelligence, is a key focus for the two-day event.

For many participants, the forum is an opportunity to learn from Beijing's experience in urban governance and explore ideas that could be applied in their own cities.

The discussions will continue on Tuesday, with more parallel sessions and field trips to local communities. Participants will have the opportunity to see how public services and urban governance work on the ground.
