Tieto ocenenia vyzdvihujú kombináciu priemyselného dizajnu, technickej výkonnosti a úžitkovej hodnoty tohto produktu.

S celkovým výkonom 150 kW a hrúbkou zariadenia približne 100 mm rieši nabíjačka BUDC spoločnú výzvu v rámci európskych projektov rýchlonabíjania jednosmerným prúdom: inštalácia vysokovýkonných zariadení v obmedzenom priestore.

Jej systém chladenia kvapalinou a nezávisle vymeniteľné moduly striedavého prúdu, jednosmerného prúdu a riadenia zjednodušujú údržbu a podporujú spoľahlivú prevádzku.

„Získanie cien iF DESIGN AWARD aj Red Dot Award potvrdzuje, že nabíjacia infraštruktúra môže poskytovať vysoký výkon bez toho, aby ohrozovala priestory, v ktorých je nainštalovaná," povedal Jundan Wang, generálny riaditeľ spoločnosti EVB. „Nabíjačka BUDC bola vyvinutá s cieľom pomôcť prevádzkovateľom nabíjacích staníc a zákazníkom s vozovým parkom efektívnejšie využívať obmedzený priestor a zároveň poskytovať spoľahlivý a intuitívny zážitok z nabíjania."

SONY PICTURES' SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY BECOMES CJ 4DPLEX'S HIGHEST-GROSSING FILM OF ALL TIME ACROSS SCREENX AND 4DX

Film sets new all-time CJ 4DPLEX record in just 33 days, drawing more than 6.7 million moviegoers across 1,200 screens with a record 40% average occupancy

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CJ 4DPLEX, the world's leading entertainment technology and content company specializing in premium film formats, cinematic production, visual effects and immersive experiences, today announced that Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: Brand New Day has become the highest-grossing film of all time across its SCREENX and 4DX formats, generating more than $104 million in combined global box office.

In just 33 days, Spider-Man: Brand New Day surpassed the previous all-time CJ 4DPLEX global box office record established by Avatar: The Way of Water, which accumulated $103 million across its 228-day theatrical run. The unprecedented speed at which Spider-Man: Brand New Day reached the milestone underscores the growing global demand for differentiated premium theatrical experiences and the increasing value SCREENX and 4DX can deliver to filmmakers, studios and exhibitors.

Since its global release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has drawn more than 6.7 million admissions across SCREENX and 4DX, playing more than 115,000 shows across 1,200 screens worldwide. The film has achieved a record 40% average occupancy rate, demonstrating extraordinary audience demand and the ability of premium formats to drive moviegoers to theaters and maximize the value of every auditorium. It also set opening records for SCREENX in 36 countries and 4DX in 22 countries.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day marked the debut of CJ 4DPLEX's "Shot for SCREENX" initiative and the first time the company collaborated with filmmakers from on-set production through theatrical exhibition. Working alongside director Destin Daniel Cretton and the filmmaking team, SCREENX provided a new creative canvas designed to extend select moments beyond the traditional screen and surround audiences with imagery conceived specifically for the format, moving SCREENX further upstream in the creative process and giving filmmakers new tools to expand the scale and impact of their storytelling.

"The global response to Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been extraordinary," said Steven O'Dell, President, International Marketing & Distribution, Sony Pictures Entertainment. "The success of Shot for SCREENX demonstrates how creative collaboration can enhance the theatrical experience, and we're thrilled to see that innovation resonate with audiences around the world."

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day has achieved something no film has ever done across SCREENX and 4DX, and to establish this record in just 33 days makes the accomplishment even more extraordinary," said Jun Bang, CEO, CJ 4DPLEX. "As the first film in our Shot for SCREENX initiative, it represents an important evolution in how we collaborate with filmmakers and studios. We are incredibly grateful to Sony Pictures, Destin Daniel Cretton and the entire filmmaking team for embracing this new creative approach and helping demonstrate what is possible when premium formats become part of the filmmaking process from the beginning."

"This record demonstrates the tremendous opportunity premium formats create across the theatrical ecosystem," said Don Savant, CEO, CJ 4DPLEX Americas. "For studios and filmmakers, SCREENX and 4DX provide differentiated ways to showcase their biggest films, create excitement and drive incremental box office. For exhibitors, they provide a premium experience audiences actively seek out and are willing to pay more to enjoy. Most importantly, we are incredibly grateful to Sony Pictures for embracing our vision for 'Shot for SCREENX' and working with us to make it a reality. Their partnership and commitment were instrumental in achieving this historic success."

With SCREENX and 4DX now reaching audiences across major theatrical markets worldwide, studios and filmmakers have a powerful global premium platform through which to differentiate major releases, while exhibitors can offer audiences experiences that cannot be replicated at home.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now playing in SCREENX and 4DX theaters worldwide.

A Day on the Course, A Difference in the Community: Cristo Rey Memorial Golf Outing
Original HTML

SUSSEX, Wis., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On August 26th, Spectrum Investment Advisors proudly hosted the annual Cristo Rey Memorial Golf Outing at Ironwood Golf Course—a day filled with purpose, community, and celebration. This year, we raised $18,000, allowing us to award one scholarship, supporting the Cristo Rey graduate for two years of college.

This year's scholarship recipient is Nataly Esquivel Campos. She will attend MSOE in the fall.

The recipient is selected by a dedicated committee that evaluates applicants based on the following criteria:

- Good financial standing with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School

- Strong academic performance

- A clear interest in pursuing a degree in Business or Finance

The outing was originally created in memory of a dear friend of the firm who passed away unexpectedly. His passion for Cristo Rey inspired a lasting bond, and this event continues to honor his legacy by investing in the futures of local students.

One of the most moving moments is the awards dinner, where scholarship recipients share their goals and personal stories. Hearing their testimonies reminds us why this event matters—it's more than golf; it's about opening doors.

Each year, the outing grows in spirit and support. This year, Rick Danning's neighbors, family, friends, the Cristo Rey community, and countless others came together to champion education. It's a true reflection of one of Spectrum's Guiding Principles: "We Give Back."

And to top it off, a local conga band brought rhythm, joy, and festive energy to the day.

At Spectrum, we believe that when you invest in people, you build a stronger future.

Cohen Veterans Network Launches "Ask Anyway: Conversations to Save a Life" Suicide Prevention Awareness Campaign

New firearm safety toolkit, supported by Face the Fight®, offers practical guidance and conversation tools for veterans and military families

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Suicide remains a critical public health issue among veterans. The veteran suicide rate is 60% higher than the national average, and firearms remain the most common method of suicide among veterans, accounting for nearly three-quarters (73.3%) of veteran suicide deaths in 2023. As September marks Suicide Prevention Month, Cohen Veterans Network (CVN), a global not-for-profit integrated network of mental health clinics for post-9/11 veterans, service members and their families, today announced the launch of Ask Anyway: Conversations to Save a Life, a new public awareness campaign that encourages people to overcome hesitation and start conversations that can make a difference.

"People rarely regret asking a caring question, but after a tragedy, they may regret the conversations they never had," said Dr. Anthony Hassan, president and CEO of Cohen Veterans Network. "Whether it's asking about suicide, talking about firearm safety or reaching out for support yourself, these conversations can create connection, increase safety and open the door to help and hope."

Ask Anyway provides veterans, service members, military families and their support networks with practical tools to navigate discussions about mental health, suicide prevention and firearm safety. By building confidence and connecting people to trusted resources, the campaign empowers individuals to turn concern into support and connection. It is organized around three key actions:

- Ask the Question: Research suggests that asking someone directly and compassionately if they are experiencing thoughts of suicide can help them feel seen, supported and less alone. Campaign resources help people recognize warning signs, start conversations, and support someone who may be struggling.

- Ask About Firearms: For many veterans and service members, firearms are an important part of daily life and identity. They are also the most common method of suicide among veterans. To help people navigate conversations about firearm safety and secure storage, CVN developed Ask Anyway: How to Have Conversations About Firearm Safety, a new toolkit supported by a grant from Face the Fight, a veteran suicide prevention coalition. The toolkit offers practical guidance and resources for veterans, military families and their supporters.

- Ask for Help: Veterans, service members and military families are reminded that seeking support is a sign of strength. Visitors are connected to suicide prevention resources including the Veterans Crisis Line and mental health care through the network's Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics.

"Suicide prevention is a shared responsibility," Hassan added. "Whether you're checking in on a fellow veteran, talking with a family member about firearm safety, or reaching out for support yourself, every conversation matters. Don't wait until you feel completely comfortable or confident. Ask anyway."

As CVN marks 10 years, the network has provided care to more than 106,000 clients and delivered more than 953,000 clinical sessions. The network treats a wide variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, military transition challenges, anger, PTSD, grief and loss, family issues, relationship problems, and children's behavioral problems. Therapy options include individual, couples, family, and group sessions. Care is available in-person and via CVN Telehealth, face-to-face video therapy. The network has 23 Cohen Clinics serving 22 states and the District of Columbia and five clinics on U.S. military bases in Asia opening soon.

HUDSON, Fla., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- September is Pain Awareness Month, and the Bonati Spine Institute is marking the observance by publishing a set of questions that patients with chronic back and neck pain should ask any surgeon who proposes an operation on their spine.

"Most of the people who come to us have been in pain for years, and most of them have been treated for years," said Dr. Alfred Bonati, founder and chief orthopedic surgeon of the Bonati Spine Institute. "Many of them have never gotten a straight answer to one basic question: what specifically is generating this pain, and how do you know? With September being Pain Awareness Month, we feel it's beyond a reasonable time to ask it."

Much of the guidance concerns spinal fusion, among the most common operations offered for degenerative spine conditions. For the common degenerative reasons people are fused, including degenerative spondylolisthesis and lumbar stenosis, several major randomized trials comparing fusion against decompression alone found no meaningful difference in patient-reported outcomes. In one five-year follow-up published in The Bone & Joint Journal in 2024, patients who were not fused reported better quality of life than those who were.

Fusion also carries a documented pattern of further required surgeries. Between 5% and 15% of fusions never achieve solid bone union, and a substantial share of fusion patients undergo an additional operation at an adjacent level within a decade, as the vertebrae above and below are forced to take on the work that the fused vertebrae used to perform.

September is also recognized as National Recovery Month. One retrospective study of 260 fusion patients found that 44.2% were still taking opioids 90 days after surgery.

"These are serious concerns for the patient, concerns which are not often discussed prior to performing a significant procedure like a fusion surgery," Bonati said. "For some patients, a fusion may be the correct procedure, however, these issues should absolutely be a part of the informational process before any surgical decision is reached. For a lot of the people I meet, they were not properly informed of the risks."

The questions the institute recommends:

- What is generating my pain, and what diagnostic test established that?

- Am I being offered decompression, fusion or both, and what does each one accomplish?

- What does the published evidence show for my specific diagnosis, rather than for back pain generally?

- What is my likelihood of a second operation, and at which level?

- Who reads my imaging, and what is that person's training?

- What would make me a poor candidate for what you are proposing?

On the last question, the institute said patients should be skeptical of any practice that cannot answer it. The Bonati Spine Institute declines patients whose conditions fall outside what its outpatient approach can address.

The institute performs the proprietary Bonati Spine Procedures in Hudson, Florida, using small incisions and local anesthesia, with patients leaving the same day. It also treats patients who have had prior spine surgery, including removal of previously placed hardware and treatment of failed back surgery syndrome. Imaging is read by a fellowship-trained neuroradiologist whose training includes Weill Cornell and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Corgi Insurance Launches 'Corgi Re' to Modernize Reinsurance With Technology-Driven Underwriting

NEW YORK, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Corgi Insurance, the AI-native, full-stack insurance carrier, today announced the launch of Corgi Re, a reinsurance platform designed to bring modern underwriting technology, speed and operational efficiency to the reinsurance market.

Reinsurance is the financial backbone of the insurance industry, allowing primary insurers to transfer portions of their risk to reinsurers and maintain the capital and capacity needed to pay claims. Yet much of the market continues to rely on longstanding relationships, manual processes, spreadsheets and lengthy underwriting cycles.

Corgi Re brings Corgi's technology-driven approach to a market where understanding risk, deploying capital and moving quickly are increasingly important.

"Reinsurance is one of the hardest markets to enter for a reason. Carriers are handing you part of their risk, and those relationships are typically built over decades, not overnight," said Jeremy Eisemann, Head of Government Affairs & Deputy General Counsel at Corgi Insurance. "The foundation of reinsurance is trust. Technology can make the process faster and more efficient, but it doesn't replace that trust. Corgi Re is being built around both."

Corgi Re combines Corgi's underwriting technology and lean operating model with the institutional expertise and relationships required to operate in reinsurance.

"There is an enormous opportunity to modernize the way reinsurance is underwritten without losing what makes the market work," said Eisemann. "The goal isn't to take the relationships out of reinsurance. It's to give the people on both sides better tools, better data and a faster way to make informed decisions."

The launch expands Corgi's role across the insurance ecosystem. Corgi initially built its business around providing insurance directly to modern companies, including startups and technology businesses. With Corgi Re, the company is expanding upstream to help provide capacity and risk management solutions to insurance companies themselves.

Corgi Re will operate within Corgi's broader regulated insurance infrastructure, maintaining the company's emphasis on regulatory compliance, underwriting discipline and responsible risk management.
