Centrus and Radiant Announce Long-Term Partnership for Domestic HALEU to Supply Kaleidos Microreactors
Image File
Original HTML

Agreement adds another domestic, U.S.-origin source of HALEU to support commercial and national security deployments of Radiant's Kaleidos microreactors

Adds another HALEU customer to Centrus' backlog and includes prepayments to Centrus that advance its build-out of domestic enrichment capacity

BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Centrus Energy Corp. [NYSE: LEU] ("Centrus"), a trusted supplier of nuclear fuel and services, and Radiant, a leading developer of transportable plug-in ready nuclear microreactors, today announced a definitive multi-year contract to supply high-assay, low-enriched uranium (HALEU) fuel needed to deploy multiple Kaleidos microreactors. Under the agreement, Centrus will begin delivering HALEU before the end of the decade, adding another domestic source of fuel to support commercial scale-up of Radiant's Kaleidos fleet.

The contract further strengthens Centrus' position as a leading fuel supplier for next generation nuclear technologies while expanding its role in the emerging microreactor market. The agreement includes Radiant prepayments to Centrus to support its domestic commercial enrichment capacity program. For Radiant, the contract adds another domestic source of HALEU as the company moves from its first Kaleidos test toward commercial and national security deployments, reinforcing the fuel supply it continues to build in parallel with the reactor itself.

"The contract with Radiant marks another important step in building the domestic fuel supply chain needed to support the next generation of nuclear energy," said Amir Vexler, President and Chief Executive Officer of Centrus. "By expanding our work to include innovative microreactor developers like Radiant, we are strengthening the U.S.-based fuel supply network. This will help ensure that emerging nuclear technologies have access to the reliable fuel they need to reach commercialization and meet growing demand for clean, secure, and dependable energy."

"You can't deploy nuclear reactors without fuel, so we have approached our fuel supply the same way we have approached the reactor: build it in parallel, and don't depend on any single path," said Dr. Rita Baranwal, Chief Nuclear Officer of Radiant. "This agreement gives Kaleidos a continued source of HALEU for commercial and national security applications and removes one of the biggest constraints facing advanced nuclear deployment. We're securing the fuel supply chain alongside the reactor so that when Kaleidos is ready to deploy at scale, the infrastructure behind it is ready too."

Because Centrus' technology is U.S.-origin and relies upon a U.S. manufacturing supply chain, the enrichment that Centrus provides to Radiant will be "unobligated" – meaning that it can be used for national security applications. Centrus' AC100 centrifuge design is the only deployment-ready U.S.-origin technology available for unobligated enrichment today. Radiant is developing transportable microreactors designed to provide reliable power for remote locations, data centers, defense applications, and/or other commercial and industrial uses, representing a broad potential market for Centrus' domestic HALEU supply.

Data center energy storage systems provide data center operators with a means of storing electricity and making it available when needed, helping maintain continuity of operations and providing greater flexibility in managing the facility's power requirements. As data center infrastructure continues to evolve, these systems are being considered alongside other critical power infrastructure rather than solely as a backup measure. The market is gaining momentum from the increasing development of hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers, which are expanding to support growing demand for cloud platforms, AI services, digital applications, and data-intensive business activities. The increasing concentration of computing capacity within large facilities is raising the importance of having dependable and readily available power resources, particularly where interruptions can affect large volumes of digital services and customers. At the same time, data center operators are seeking greater flexibility in managing electricity demand as facilities become more power-intensive and grid infrastructure faces capacity constraints. Energy storage is, therefore, gaining relevance as operators look to strengthen onsite power capabilities while supporting more efficient use of available electricity. The transition toward cleaner energy sources is providing another area of opportunity, as data center operators increasingly incorporate renewable electricity into their energy strategies and require greater flexibility to manage its availability. Continued investment in new data center capacity, expansion of existing facilities, and increasing emphasis on power resilience are consequently creating sustained demand for energy storage systems.

By data center type, the cloud & hyperscale data centers segment is expected to account for the largest market share, in terms of value, throughout the forecast period.

Cloud & hyperscale data centers are likely to account for the largest market share over the forecast period, supported by the large-scale presence of these facilities and their substantial reliance on continuous and reliable power. The growing use of cloud computing, AI, digital services, and data-intensive applications is encouraging the development and expansion of large-scale data center facilities. As cloud and hyperscale facilities operate with significant computing capacity and increasingly power-intensive workloads, maintaining reliable power availability becomes particularly important. Energy storage systems support these facilities by providing backup power, improving power reliability, managing electricity demand, and providing flexibility in energy use. The scale and power requirements of these facilities also create greater opportunities for energy storage deployment compared to smaller data center environments. The extensive use of cloud and hyperscale infrastructure and its increasing power requirements are, therefore, supporting substantial demand for ESS, enabling this segment to account for the largest share of the data center type market.

By application, the extended backup power (UPS companion) segment is estimated to account for the largest market share throughout the forecast period.

The extended backup power (UPS companion) segment, by application, is likely to hold the largest share of the data center energy storage systems industry over the forecast period, driven by the fundamental need for continuous and reliable power across data center operations. Data centers support critical digital services and applications that require uninterrupted operation, making protection against power interruptions an essential requirement. While UPS systems provide immediate power continuity, energy storage systems can complement them by extending the duration for which backup power can be maintained, providing additional time during prolonged interruptions or until alternative power sources become available. As data centers expand and their power requirements increase, the importance of dependable backup power also increases. This creates sustained demand for energy storage systems that can support longer-duration power availability and improve overall power resilience. The critical requirement for continuous data center operations and the need to maintain power availability during extended interruptions are, therefore, driving widespread ESS adoption for extended backup power applications, supporting its largest share among other applications

DENARIUS METALS ANNOUNCES 7 KM EXTENSION OF PROPERTY HOLDINGS AT ITS TORAL PROJECT IN NORTHERN SPAIN, INCLUDING THE FORMER PRODUCING ZN-PB ANTONINA MINE; ALSO ANNOUNCES MAIDEN NI 43-101 MINERAL RESOURCE ESTIMATE FOR THE TORAL PROJECT
Image File
Original HTML

TORONTO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Denarius Metals Corp. (Cboe CA: DMET) (OTCQX: DNRSF) ("Denarius Metals" or the "Company") announced today that it has been granted a preferential option by the Regional Government of Castilla and Leon in Spain to secure up to 28 new mining grids (the "Toral West Claims") which are located contiguous to the Company's 100%-owned Toral Project. The mining grids cover an area of approximately 800 hectares and, subject to completion of the administrative procedures associated with the award, would bring Denarius Metals' total property holdings in the Leon Mining District to approximately 3,700 hectares.

Serafino Iacono, Executive Chairman of Denarius Metals, commented, "The Toral West Claims extend the Company's property holdings along the known Toral mineralized structure to the northwest by approximately 7 kilometers, including the historic Zn-Pb Antonina Mine, a former mining operation located in the municipality of Sobrado, near Toral de los Vados. Opened in 1935 and closed in 1983, the Antonina Mine was known for the extraction of zinc, lead, copper and mercury. According to available drilling data, the ore grades in the Antonina Mine were similar to those found in our Toral Project. The reopening of the Antonina Mine could accelerate the start of mining operations at the Toral Project, initially providing access to the down-dip extension of the known mineralization below the historic mine and subsequently as a potential alternative access to the deep mineralization at Toral. In the coming months, we will advance the administrative process required to formalize the corresponding investigation permits over the awarded mining grids and will incorporate Antonina and the western extension of the Toral trend into our exploration program being planned for 2027".

Significance of the Toral West Claims

The Toral West Claims represent a strategic addition to the Company's land portfolio in the area (refer to Attachment 1) as they encompass the projected western extension of the Toral deposit. The geological interpretation indicates that the favorable host stratigraphy and mineralized structure extend westward from the existing Toral Project, providing an opportunity to evaluate the potential continuation of the known carbonate-hosted Zn-Pb mineralization over a considerably larger district-scale trend.

The Toral West Claims also include the historic Zn-Pb Antonina and Nieves mines, where previous mining activity demonstrates the presence of Zn-Pb mineralization within the same regional geological environment as the Toral deposit. Historical information suggests that the Antonina area may retain exploration potential for additional mineralization comparable in style to that identified at our Toral Project.

Historical records indicate that the Antonina Mine was operated on an industrial scale by several different companies between 1968 and 1983. Mining development is understood to have extended over approximately 700 meters of strike, with between five and seven underground levels reaching a depth of approximately 300 meters.

Importantly, the historical exploration database for the Antonina-Nieves area includes records of approximately 35 exploration drill holes. These historical drill holes provide evidence that the mineralized system is open to the west and at depth with grades similar to those for Toral, supporting the Company's view that the area warrants systematic modern exploration to determine the potential for additional mineral resources.

The expanded land package provides Denarius Metals with the opportunity to investigate a prospective mineralized corridor extending approximately 7 kilometers west of the existing Toral deposit. The Company believes this substantially enhances the long-term exploration upside of the Toral Project and reinforces its strategy of consolidating district-scale opportunities within the Leon Mining District.

NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate for the Toral Project

Denarius Metals also announced today that it has completed a maiden Mineral Resource estimate (the "2026 MRE") for its 100%-owned Toral Project in Spain prepared by Resource Development Associates ("RDA") in accordance with the Canadian Institute of Mining Metallurgy and Petroleum ("CIM") Definition Standards incorporated by reference in National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") with an effective date of July 24, 2026.

- Mineral Resources are reported in accordance with the CIM Definition Standards (2014) and NI 43-101.

- The independent Qualified Person for the 2026 MRE is Scott E. Wilson, C.P.G., SME-RM, of RDA. Effective date is July 24, 2026.

- Mineral Resources are not Mineral Reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. There is no certainty that all or any part of the 2026 MRE will be converted into Mineral Reserve.

- All Mineral Resources are classified as Inferred. No Measured or Indicated Mineral Resources are declared. It is reasonably expected that the majority of Inferred Mineral Resources could be upgraded to Indicated Mineral Resources with continued exploration (closer-spaced infill drilling).

- Resources are reported above an NSR cut-off of US$61/t, which is approximately equivalent to 3.05% ZnEq on a pure-zinc basis. The cut-off is based on Reasonable Prospects for Eventual Economic Extraction (RPEEE) using underground mining and Option A processing (on-site crushing, XRT ore sorting at ~45% mass rejection, grinding and dual-circuit flotation).

- Operating cost basis used for the cut-off: mining US$36.30/t + processing US$18.33/t (effective after sorting) + G&A US$6.28/t = US$60.91/t, rounded to US$61/t for reporting.

- ZnEq% = Zn% + (Pb% × 0.7482) + (Ag g/t × 0.000248).

- NSR (US$/t ROM) = (Zn%/100 × 0.81 × 2,900 × 0.85) + (Pb%/100 × 0.87 × 2,020 × 0.95) + (Ag g/t × 0.49 × (37/31.1035) × 0.95).

- Assumptions: long-term prices Zn US$2,900/t, Pb US$2,020/t, Ag US$37/oz; overall recoveries (flotation + XRT) Pb 87%, Zn 81%, Ag 49% (WAI 2022 carbonate testwork); payabilities Zn 85%, Pb 95%, Ag 95% (industry-typical pending commercial terms). It is the QP's opinion that Zn, Pb and Ag have a reasonable potential to be recovered and sold.

- Contained metal is in situ. No metallurgical recovery is applied to contained-metal figures. Metal values, if quoted, are illustrative only and are not NSR or revenue.

- Bulk density (mineralized): 2.73 + 0.022 × (Pb% + Zn%), capped at 3.50 g/cm³. Waste assigned 2.70 g/cm³.

- Numbers are rounded. Totals may not add due to rounding. All tonnes are metric.

- The mineralized structure remains open along strike to the southeast and at depth.

Following a period of project evaluation through a definitive option agreement with Europa Metals Ltd. ("Europa"), the Company acquired its 100% interest in the Toral Project from Europa in November 2024. On November 30, 2022, following completion of its 2022 drilling campaign, Europa had announced an updated JORC 2012 compliant Mineral Resource (the "Europa MRE") prepared by Addison Mining Services Ltd. ("AMS") with an effective date of November 5, 2022 comprising 7.0 Mt Indicated and 13 Mt Inferred at a 4% ZnEq (PbAg) cut-off. The 2026 MRE announced today by the Company is a new estimate, not a restatement, that has been completed by RDA in accordance with NI 43-101. Differences between the 2026 MRE prepared under NI 43-101 and the previous Europa MRE prepared under JORC 2012 arise from (i) CIM classification under NI 43-101 applied to the current drill spacing and high-nugget geometry (Inferred only), (ii) a change from median-indicator kriging to anisotropic ID³, (iii) an NSR cut-off of US$61/t using updated prices, recoveries and XRT-inclusive process assumptions, and (iv) a revised grade-dependent density assignment. The two Mineral Resource estimates are not directly comparable.

The resource estimation methodology carried out by RDA in the 2026 MRE involved the following procedures:

- Database compilation and verification;

- Construction of three-dimensional vein wireframes for five mineralized domains;

- Definition of resource domains;

- Data conditioning (2.0 m compositing and capping) for statistical analysis;

- Variography;

- Block modeling and anisotropic inverse-distance cubed (ID³) grade interpolation of Zn, Pb and Ag;

- Resource classification and validation;

- Assessment of reasonable prospects for eventual economic extraction and selection of the NSR reporting cut-off; and

- Preparation of the Mineral Resource estimate.

The 2026 MRE is supported by a validated drill-hole database of 127 diamond and reverse-circulation holes (including wedges) totaling 66,783 meters that have assay support, including the validation and infill drilling program carried out by the Company in 2023. Mineralization is hosted in five modeled veins. The estimation dataset comprises 698 assay intervals (688 meters of mineralized length) within those veins, composited to 2.0 m down-hole for a primary estimation set of 417 composites.

Grades of Zn, Pb and Ag in the 2026 MRE were interpolated independently into a 3-D block model constrained by five vein wireframes using anisotropic inverse-distance cubed (ID³) in two passes. Search orientations were taken from the directional variography (principal strike ~285°, steep north dip). Ordinary kriging was tested and rejected: kriging efficiency was persistently negative and slope-of-regression indicated conditional bias under the current drill spacing and high-nugget, narrow-vein geometry. Multiple-indicator kriging (the 2022 AMS method) was considered and not adopted for the same support reasons. 2.0 m length-weighted composites were used. Density is assigned after grade estimation using the linear formula above. Validation included global composite-versus-block statistics, nearest-neighbor comparison, swath plots and visual long-section review.

"By combining our industry-leading pipeline and innovation capabilities with Globachem's expertise in formulation, we aim to scale and accelerate the delivery of more tailored, comprehensive solutions for core crops in targeted markets."

The JV will build upon an existing, multi-year partnership between Corteva and Globachem, allowing both companies to immediately benefit through enhanced collaboration. New solutions developed by the JV are expected to launch in the early 2030s and will be sold through established commercial channels.

"The entry into a definitive agreement regarding the establishment of the JV represents an important milestone in our long-standing relationship with Corteva and reflects our shared belief that collaboration is the fastest way to bring meaningful innovation to farmers," said Koen Quaghebeur, Chief Visionary Officer and Co-founder of Globachem. Z Squared Acquires Energized Arkansas Campus to Advance AI Infrastructure Strategy

Union County Campus has existing electric service of up to approximately 8.0 MW and a phased development target of an estimated 150+ MW

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Z Squared Inc. (Nasdaq: ZSQR) ("Z Squared" or the "Company") today announced the closing of its acquisition of Paradox Data, LLC from Paradox Infrastructure LLC, bringing the energized Union County Campus in El Dorado, Arkansas (the "Union County Campus"), into its computing infrastructure portfolio. The acquisition gives Z Squared its first owned, energized campus and a site from which to advance its planned AI colocation business.

The campus has electric service already flowing under an existing interruptible service arrangement with Entergy Arkansas, LLC for up to approximately 8.0 MW. That existing grid connection provides a starting point for phased conversion into high-density space for customers that bring and operate their own computing equipment.

Paradox Data, LLC also holds contractual rights to acquire adjacent land and a development pathway targeting 150+ MW of AI-ready capacity over time through a combination of utility power and on-site generation. Expansion will depend on additional power arrangements, customer commitments, financing, permitting and construction. Capacity above the existing service arrangement is a development target and is not currently contracted, energized or delivered.

"In August we told our shareholders to judge us on four things: whether the Paradox acquisition closes, whether we sign our first paying tenant and megawatt commitments, whether energized capacity at Union County grows beyond the current 8 megawatts, and whether we add sites without taking on debt," said David Halabu, Chief Executive Officer of Z Squared. "We have met our first goal. We closed, we paid in stock, and we took on no debt to do it. Union County gives us power already flowing, land under contract for expansion, and a path to pursue 150+ megawatts of AI-ready capacity. The work now is the first phase: the engineering, the power planning and the first customer commitment. We will report against those same four measures as we go. Our intention is for Union County to be the first owned campus rather than the only one, subject to the same discipline we have applied here."

Advancing the First Phase

With the acquisition complete, Z Squared's near-term priorities at Union County include first-phase high-density electrical and cooling design, utility and on-site generation planning, advancing the adjacent land acquisition, and securing the first binding customer request for service.

As previously announced, the Company has engaged A2 Advisors, a strategic advisory and executive management firm focused on digital infrastructure, to support site-development planning, project delivery, vendor and partner alignment, and leasing and capital strategy at the campus.

Union County is intended to contribute to Z Squared's previously announced Phase 1 objective of developing 100 MW of AI-ready capacity across multiple U.S. sites. The Company's approach is to acquire energized, grid-connected properties and deploy conversion capital site by site against customer commitments and operational readiness.

The acquisition was completed entirely in stock, with no cash paid at closing and no debt financing incurred for the transaction.

Additional information regarding the transaction, including the material terms of the purchase agreement, is contained in the Company's Current Reports on Form 8-K filed or to be filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

About Z Squared Inc.

Z Squared Inc. is a computing infrastructure company operating advanced computing equipment and expanding into AI infrastructure. The Company's strategy is built on three principles: lead with power by acquiring operating sites where power is already flowing; build for AI workloads by converting that capacity into AI-ready colocation where the customer brings the compute and runs what they need; and scale with discipline by deploying conversion capital site by site, against signed contracts and operational readiness. Z Squared's common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol "ZSQR" in April 2026.

Alliant Credit Union Partners with Blend to Reinvent the Digital Home Lending Experience

New home lending platform is the first in a series of investments designed to make banking with Alliant remarkably simple

CHICAGO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliant Credit Union, one of the nation's largest credit unions with nearly 1 million members and $20 billion in assets, today announced a strategic partnership with Blend Labs Inc. (NYSE: BLND) to launch a completely modernized digital experience for mortgage and home equity borrowers.

Together, Alliant and Blend have created an end-to-end digital home lending experience designed to simplify one of the biggest financial decisions people make. Members will be able to move from instant mortgage prequalification to a full mortgage application in minutes, either independently or with help from one of Alliant's Loan Specialists.

The new experience will soon include automated pre-approvals, income and asset verification, identity and fraud checks, real-time application status, and digital closing. Alliant also plans to introduce AI-powered capabilities that can extract and populate information from documents, further reducing manual entry.

"We are committed to making the home-buying process as simple and seamless as possible," said Dan Bauer, head of residential lending at Alliant Credit Union. "By providing automated pre-qualification within minutes, we are helping members move quickly and confidently in a competitive housing market. This platform allows us to provide an enhanced experience and deliver market-leading turn times from application to closing."

This launch marks an important milestone in Alliant's broader effort to reimagine the member experience, guided by the simple belief that consumers should expect more from their financial institution. Whether members are applying for a mortgage or car loan, opening an account, managing their finances online, or connecting with a representative for support, Alliant believes every interaction should be intuitive, frictionless, and beautifully simple.

"Consumers don't compare their digital banking experience with other financial institutions anymore. They compare it with the best digital experiences they have anywhere," said Mike Dobbins, CEO of Alliant Credit Union. "We want Alliant to set that standard by combining compelling products, exceptional people, and best-in-class technology to make managing your financial life remarkably easy."

Alliant plans to expand the Blend experience to home equity lending, including home equity lines of credit (HELOCs), creating a consistent digital experience across the home lending journey.

"Our members expect speed, convenience, and flexibility when accessing the equity they have built in their homes," Bauer said. "By reducing HELOC closing times to 15 days or less, we are enabling members to access funds faster for home improvements, debt consolidation, and other important financial needs. This enhancement reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional service and innovative lending solutions."

Home lending is part of a much broader effort underway at Alliant. "We're not approaching digital transformation as a series of technology projects," Dobbins said. "We're rethinking every experience our members have with us. Our goal is to bring best-in-class experiences across all of Alliant — making it extraordinarily easy to save, borrow, buy a home, and manage your financial life. Home lending is one of the first places members will see that vision come to life, but it won't be the last."

About Alliant Credit Union:

Alliant Credit Union wants people to expect more from their bank. Built for members instead of shareholders, Alliant is a national digital credit union that delivers tangible value through rewarding financial products, thoughtful digital experiences, and personalized service. With more than 90 years of history and nearly 1 million members nationwide, Alliant combines the strength of a leading financial institution with a member-first mission—helping people feel seen, supported, and rewarded as they move forward financially. Bonkers Toys to bring the "Rizz Face" to toy aisles with Master toy license for viral influencer, The Rizzler
Image File
Original HTML

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bonkers Toys has secured a master toy agreement with popular influencer The Rizzler, also known as Christian Savasta. This partnership marks the first time the TikTok creator's viral personality will transition into an officially licensed toy line, including collectible plush, figures, and accessories. Bonkers Toys is expected to launch The Rizzler toys at major US retailers nationwide in Fall 2027.

The Rizzler represents a new era of creator-led content that defines cultural moments for a new generation of entertainment. The now 10-year-old social media personality rose to fame on TikTok for his exaggerated "rizz face"—a playful mix of squinting eyes, raised eyebrow, pursed lips, and chin stroke. His nickname "The Rizzler" comes from the slang term rizz, meaning charisma.

"Our new toy line will capture the iconic "rizz face" expression and hilarious energy that catapulted The Rizzler to a social media phenomenon," said Dan Meyer, Head of Brands, Bonkers Toys. "With his unmistakable personality and highly engaged fanbase, The Rizzler has evolved from viral sensation into a true pop-culture personality, making him a natural fit to bring from the screen into the physical world through a fun and collectible line of plush, figures and accessories."

"Being The Rizzler has helped me connect with fans all over the world," said The Rizzler, "It's so cool that now they'll have their very own Rizzler toys to play with!"

Bonkers Toys continues to successfully identify creators and characters currently defining entertainment for a modern demographic. The Rizzler's expansion into toys signifies a broader shift where New Media trends successfully bridge the gap into mainstream consumer goods. The new collection will prioritize collectability and fan engagement, featuring playful replicas of the creator's signature personality and viral moments that resonate with audiences.
