Firewall Growth Doubles to 18 Percent in 2Q 2026 on Refresh and Capacity Expansion, According to Dell'Oro Group

Broader Network Security Market Also Jumps 18 Percent as Securing AI Remains Top Priority

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- According to a recently published report from Dell'Oro Group, the trusted source for market information about the telecommunications, security, networks, and data center industries, the worldwide Network Security market reached nearly $8 B in 2Q 2026, up 18 percent year-over-year (Y/Y). Firewall growth accelerated from 9 percent in 1Q 2026 to 18 percent in 2Q 2026 as enterprises moved ahead with targeted lifecycle refreshes, capacity additions, branch modernization, and virtual enforcement. The broader market also strengthened as spending on data security and application front-door protection accelerated to support AI security initiatives, suggesting the quarter was broader than a hardware rebound.

"Firewall spending reaccelerated because customers had concrete reasons to modernize," said Mauricio Sanchez, Sr. Director, Enterprise Security and Networking at Dell'Oro Group. "Aging infrastructure, higher throughput requirements, branch redesigns, and expanding private-cloud workloads created multiple reasons to refresh or add capacity. This was a real modernization cycle, but it was targeted rather than an estate-wide replacement wave."

"The broader Network Security result tells a second story. Due to the growing need to secure AI, enterprises are extending cloud-delivered security into sensitive-data controls while treating the application front door as a more strategic enforcement point for APIs, bots, and automated traffic. Those motions are expanding security spending beyond the Firewall refresh and helping keep growth broad across the market," added Sanchez.

Additional highlights from the 2Q 2026 Network Security Quarterly Report:

- Firewalls: Refresh and capacity expansion were broad enough to lift multiple suppliers and deployment models, although vendor execution remained uneven. Virtual enforcement and branch modernization added to the opportunity.

- Web Application Firewalls (WAF): Demand continued to broaden from traditional web protection toward APIs, bots, automated traffic, and application-front-door consolidation, strengthening the role of WAF as a control point rather than a standalone rule-set product.

- Application Delivery Controllers (ADC): Installed-base modernization and capacity expansion improved the segment, led by F5's BIG-IP migration cycle. The improvement remained concentrated, however, and should not be interpreted as a uniform recovery across suppliers.

- Security Service Edge (SSE) [Core]: Enterprises continued to expand cloud-delivered policy across users, devices, SaaS applications, and private applications, reinforcing SSE as a central control point for distributed security.

- Security Service Edge (SSE) [Extended]: Data Security emerged as the clearest expansion layer as customers attached sensitive-data controls and AI-governance functions to existing SSE relationships, though vendors monetized those capabilities through different packaging models.

About the Report

The Dell'Oro Group Network Security Report includes manufacturers' revenue covering the ADC, Firewall, SSE, traditional SWG appliances, and WAF product segments. Moreover, SSEs are further broken down into core (CASB, FWaaS, SWG, and ZTNA) and extended (data security and digital experience management) functions. The report also splits many segments by form factor: physical, virtual, and SaaS. To purchase this report, please contact us at [email protected].

Leifras Continues to Operate Nagoya City's Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank, Addressing Instructor Shortage

Three-Year Contract — Platform Supporting Elementary Schools' "New Sports and Cultural Activities"

TOKYO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- LEIFRAS Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: LFS) (the "Company" or "Leifras"), a sports and social business company dedicated to youth sports and community engagement, and a leading operator of children's sports schools and school club activity support businesses in Japan, today announced that it had been awarded a continuation contract by the City of Nagoya for the "Nagoya School Club Activities Human Resources Bank Operation Services" (the "Contract"). Under the Contract, the Company will continue, for the three years beginning September 1, 2026, to comprehensively operate the recruitment, training, and matching system for instructors responsible for the "new sports and cultural activities" at Nagoya municipal elementary schools (the "Project"), which activities the Company has operated since April 2022. The Project is designed to address the challenge of securing qualified local staff capable of providing professional and safe instruction, as the country transitions the manner in which school club activities are conducted from school-based to community-based management, and to facilitate the establishment of a sustainable operating structure.

Nagoya City's "Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank" Initiative

Nagoya City has implemented "New Sports and Cultural Activities," under which the operation of club activities at municipal elementary schools is outsourced to private-sector service providers. Across municipal elementary schools in the city's 16 wards, sports, music, and other activities are offered after school on weekdays to students in grades four through six who wish to participate.

The "Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank" serves as a framework for recruiting and training instructors and other personnel needed to support these activities.

Through its operation of the Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank, the Company recruits and trains instructors and supports the development of an environment in which children in Nagoya City can safely participate in meaningful and fulfilling sports and cultural activities.

Overview and Features of the "Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank"

In furtherance of the Project, the Company manages the entire process of recruiting and training individuals to serve as instructors for new sports and cultural activities with a comprehensive approach.

- Large-scale recruitment through public relations activities: In addition to operating a dedicated website, the Company plans to conduct ongoing public relations activities, leveraging major recruitment advertising media and various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with the goal of attracting several hundred prospective instructors each year.

- Comprehensive training focused on safety and instructional quality: Leifras plans to provide registered instructors with basic and specialized training covering sport-specific instructional methods, safety management, allergy response, harassment prevention, and other areas. In addition, the Company plans to provide regular training to support continuous skill development to ensure the safety of children participating in activities in Nagoya City. These efforts will be supported by the Company's safety management expertise, which have enabled it to maintain a record of zero serious accidents.

- Dedicated matching system for efficient instructor recruitment: The Company plans to build a system designed to support smooth recruitment-matching by establishing a database of individuals interested in serving as instructors that allows club activity operators at each school to search for personnel based on preferred ward, sport, and other criteria and pursuant to which offers may be extended directly.

Future Outlook

Under its corporate philosophy "to change and design sports," Leifras expects to fully leverage the instructor platform and the training expertise it has developed to addressing challenges related to the "regional transition of school club activities" for local governments nationwide. The Company plans to apply the knowledge gained through the Project to develop a nationwide school club activity infrastructure that will support a sustainable educational ecosystem in which children can continue to enjoy safe and fulfilling sports and cultural activities.

Comfrt Athlete Campaign Draws 2.3x Expected Participation Through NIL Club
Image File
Original HTML

Atlanta, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Comfrt's latest college athlete campaign exceeded expectations, attracting more than 2.3 times the projected number of athletes through NIL Club, the largest team-based NIL platform in college sports. The campaign reached capacity ahead of schedule as athletes signed up faster than either company anticipated.

Athletes selected a Comfrt hoodie and sweatpants, created an Instagram Reel from a real moment in their day, and earned reimbursement for the apparel plus a 10 percent commission on every sale their content generated.

The campaign worked because the product already fit naturally into athletes' lives. Comfrt's slightly weighted, combed-cotton hoodies have become a familiar sight on travel days, recovery days, and the everyday moments between competitions. Many participating athletes already owned and wore the brand before the campaign launched. They weren't trying to convince anyone to buy an unfamiliar product. They were sharing something that was already part of their daily routine.

"The campaigns that fill this fast are the ones where athletes already love the product," said Mick Assaf, CEO and Co-Founder of NIL Club. "We didn't have to convince anyone to wear Comfrt. We simply gave athletes a way to get paid for sharing something that was already part of their everyday lives."

Comfrt gained direct access to one of the largest communities of college athletes in the country. NIL Club connects brands with more than 650,000 registered student-athletes across 2,000-plus schools and 20,000-plus team communities. Instead of paying for broad awareness campaigns, Comfrt reached engaged college audiences through authentic athlete-created content. Athletes received premium apparel, reimbursement for their purchase, and an ongoing commission that turned everyday content into meaningful income.

The campaign reinforces a broader lesson in athlete marketing. The strongest partnerships are the ones that already fit. When athletes genuinely use a product, the content feels authentic, audiences respond, and brands build credibility instead of simply buying attention.

NIL Club members can explore current brand opportunities through the NIL Club app.

Greg DuPey of Pillar To Post Home Inspectors Named Franchisee of the Year by International Franchise Association

Pennsylvania-Based Franchise Owner Recognized for Business Growth, Resilience, and Contributions to the Franchise Community

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Pillar To Post Home Inspectors (Pillar To Post), North America's leading home inspection company, is proud to announce that franchise business owner Greg DuPey has been named a 2026 Franchisee of the Year by the International Franchise Association (IFA). The prestigious award recognizes franchise owners who exemplify excellence in their businesses, communities, and franchise systems.

DuPey and his wife, Theresa, purchased an existing Pillar To Post franchise in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, in 2012 after he spent decades leading large-scale foodservice operations. What began as an opportunity to pursue business ownership became a nearly fourfold expansion of the business and a long-term commitment to the Pillar To Post franchise community.

The IFA's Franchisee of the Year awards recognize franchise owners who demonstrate excellence in business, give back to their communities, create opportunities for those around them and support their fellow franchisees. DuPey will be honored at the IFA26 Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., Sept. 14-16, for being an outstanding franchise owner with excellence in entrepreneurship, community outreach, workforce development, and service to others. Nominated by their brand, the IFA Franchisee of the Year awards are given to top franchisees from IFA member brands across industries and communities around the country.

"Franchisees of the Year demonstrate what franchising is all about – individuals who have committed their lives and careers to the betterment of those around them, building something bigger than themselves," said Matt Haller, President and CEO of the International Franchise Association. "Through their leadership, they create jobs and build careers, give back to their communities, and support other franchisees, all while exemplifying the entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of franchising. We are proud to recognize Greg with IFA's highest honor for individual franchisees and celebrate his commitment to making a difference both within his business and beyond."

DuPey's journey has not been without challenges. Shortly after acquiring the business, DuPey suffered a serious back injury after falling from a roof, leaving him in a body cast during his recovery. Even with the injury, DuPey never stopped working and both he and Theresa guided the business through injury, economic downturns and more. Consistently adapting, scaling strategically, and continuing to invest in relationships within his local market has led to tremendous success.

Today, DuPey is one of Pillar To Post's leading franchise owners and a trusted resource for fellow entrepreneurs. He has also been recognized by Pillar To Post as its Franchise Business Owner of the Year for his sales performance and contributions to the franchise system. Beyond his own business, DuPey regularly shares his experience with other franchise owners and serves as a mentor and resource within the Pillar To Post network.

"Greg's story is a powerful example of what makes franchising so special," said Charles Furlough, CEO of Pillar To Post Home Inspectors. "He has built an exceptional business, but what stands out just as much is his willingness to help the people around him. Greg has experienced the highs and lows of business ownership and consistently shares what he's learned with fellow franchise owners. He truly embodies the spirit of this award, and we couldn't be more proud to see him recognized by the IFA."

Pillar To Post continues to seek qualified entrepreneurs interested in building scalable home inspection businesses with the support of an established national brand. For more information about Pillar To Post Home Inspectors and franchise opportunities, visit www.franchise.pillartopost.com.

COLE HAAN LAUNCHES "COMFORTABLE ANYWHERE" CAMPAIGN STARRING CHRISTIAN SLATER AND JENNY SLATE
Image File
Original HTML

Cole Haan's fall 2026 global campaign is about staying comfortable, confident and completely yourself—whatever the day throws your way.

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Cole Haan unveils Comfortable Anywhere, its fall 2026 global brand campaign starring Christian Slater and Jenny Slate.

Comfortable Anywhere builds on Cole Haan's longstanding belief that looking good and feeling good should never be a trade-off. Christian's understated cool and Jenny's expressive wit bring two unique personalities to the campaign.

"We wanted Comfortable Anywhere to feel real. Not perfectly planned or overly polished," said Krissie Millan, Chief Marketing Officer at Cole Haan. "Christian and Jenny bring a sense of humor to everyday moments that made them perfect for this campaign. They know how to keep things in perspective, which feels very Cole Haan."

Shot in a day-in-the-life format, the films find Christian preparing for the arrival of dinner guests while Jenny faces a looming deadline. Christian takes a decidedly relaxed approach to hosting—and making homemade pasta for the first time—while Jenny searches for inspiration everywhere but her desk. Through it all, Cole Haan provides the comfort to keep moving through whatever the day brings.

Christian and Jenny wear the GrandPrø FlexCraft™ sneaker throughout the campaign, bringing Cole Haan's FlexCraft™ technology to a sneaker for the first time. Originally developed for dress footwear, FlexCraft™ allows lightweight cushioning to take on the refined look of a traditional stacked-leather heel—bringing an element of classic shoemaking craft and polished comfort to a modern sneaker.

Additional fall hero styles include the ØriginalGrand SkyWeave™ Everarc worn by Christian—Cole Haan's first performance runner, engineered with SkyWeave™ technology and FeatherFeel™ cushioning—and the GrandPrø Runner 2.0 worn by Jenny, an ultra-lightweight sneaker designed for all-day wear.

The featured styles are part of a broader fall wardrobe of sneakers, loafers, boots, handbags and accessories—all designed with the same idea in mind: looking pulled together shouldn't come at the expense of feeling comfortable.

Comfortable Anywhere brings Cole Haan's Feel What's Possible™ philosophy to life: when you feel at ease with where you are, you're more open to what comes next. With its centennial approaching in 2028, Cole Haan is building on nearly a century of craft while continuing to look ahead.

Developed in partnership with brand transformation agency Invisible Dynamics, Comfortable Anywhere launches globally on September 9, 2026, across digital, out-of-home, colehaan.com and Cole Haan retail. The launch will be supported by paid social and a strategic influencer and creator program, bringing the campaign and fall product assortment to new and engaged audiences. Seasonal products will be available at colehaan.com, Cole Haan stores and select wholesale partners worldwide.

ABOUT COLE HAAN Cole Haan is a global American lifestyle brand distributed in more than 100 countries worldwide. For nearly a century, Cole Haan has combined time-honored craft with modern innovation to create footwear and lifestyle accessories that bring style and comfort together in unexpected ways. HAMPTON, N.H., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet Fitness, Inc. (NYSE: PLNT) (the "Company") today announced an evolution of its brand identity and logo grounded in the welcoming energy and Judgement Free spirit of its clubs, and the momentum of its members around the world. The refreshed gear logo reflects movement, progress and the collective energy of the Planet Fitness community, complemented by a new custom font and an update to the brand's iconic purple and yellow color palette that reflects the warmth, energy, and optimism of Planet Fitness' clubs.

The refreshed identity, informed by member feedback, builds on the enhancements Planet Fitness has made across the member experience in line with consumer trends and preferences. Since 2025, the Company has expanded equipment offerings, refined club floor layouts to better reflect how members of all fitness levels train and rolled out new Black Card Spa® amenities such as red-light recovery.

"For more than 30 years, Planet Fitness has made fitness more approachable and accessible for all members, wherever they may be on their fitness journey," said Brian Povinelli, Chief Marketing Officer of Planet Fitness. "Our goal was to ensure that our evolved visual identity would continue to reflect our welcoming and supportive ethos while also allowing for a more seamless and flexible presentation of the brand across traditional marketing formats and digital channels. This refreshed identity is the culmination of a thoughtful process to elevate the member experience while staying true to the Judgement Free promise, and we look forward to rolling it out across our clubs and platforms in the coming months."

Elevating the In-Club and Digital Member Experience

The Company today also announced an upgraded Planet Fitness mobile app designed to make the member journey easier from day one, with tools that help members plan their visits, navigate workouts and track progress. The new app features began to roll out today and will include:

- A redesigned member profile with seamless syncing across major wellness platforms and a home screen that changes when a member is in the club.

- Enhanced equipment-aligned tracking, allowing members to log weights, reps, and sets directly from their phones.

- An upgraded, real-time Crowd Meter to help members plan their visits with ease.

The evolved branding will start to appear this month across all new and remodeled clubs, marketing assets, social media, the PF App, and PlanetFitness.com, with key in-club touchpoints rolling out through the first quarter of 2027 in existing clubs. Planet Fitness' "thumbs up" icon will also remain part of the brand's identity, showing up in select places to remind members of the 30 years of motivation and positive reinforcement the gesture has provided.

Roundstone Announces 2027 Medical Captive Forum in Nashville, TN

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Roundstone recently announced that its annual Medical Captive Forum (MCF) will take place May 11 and 12, in Nashville, Tennessee.

The complimentary two-day event will convene hundreds of CEOs, CFOs, HR leaders, benefits advisors, and healthcare innovators to discuss how employers can redesign health plans for greater transparency, cost control, and long-term sustainability.

Annually, MCF delivers powerful insights from focused sessions on plan design, captives, and cost containment during real-world success panels, collaborative roundtables, and high-energy networking sessions.

Originally created as an educational platform to demystify self-funded health plans, MCF has evolved into a national gathering for organizations seeking to move beyond traditional fully insured models and toward accountable healthcare financing. In addition to complimentary programming, employers are reimbursed for one night's hotel stay.

"Each year, MCF brings together the brightest minds in healthcare benefits, and we're excited to welcome attendees to Nashville in 2027," said Mike Schroeder, Founder and President of Roundstone. "MCF has become a place where employers, advisors, and industry partners come together to share ideas and challenge conventional thinking. We're looking forward to another year of actionable insights that attendees can take back to their organizations."
