NEW YORK, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwind Group, a Manhattan-based real estate private equity firm and debt fund manager, today announced the origination of a $219 million first mortgage construction loan for 100 Wall Street, a 29-story, 463,000-square-foot office building in Manhattan's Financial District. Loan proceeds retired the existing debt on the property and will fund the conversion of floors 2 through 11into 168 residential rental apartments, while floors 15 through 29 are nearly fully leased and will remain as office space.

The conversion is being led by a joint venture between Lloyd Goldman's BLDG and David Werner Real Estate Investments, two highly experienced New York City real estate sponsors. The joint venture acquired the building in July 2024 and quickly advanced the property through planning and predevelopment, which included successful relocations of office tenants from the base of the building into its top floors.

100 Wall Street is an ideal conversation candidate, with efficient floor plates providing optimal spacing between the windows and the building's core and the freestanding nature of the building delivering four sides of natural light and air to the residential units. Additionally, the building already features two distinct elevator banks to allow for separate access points for residential and office tenants. Residents will have access to a full-service amenity package including a pool, fitness center, sports simulator, theatre, and rooftop deck with an outdoor kitchen.

The Sponsor has assembled an experienced project team to execute the conversion. Triton Construction, who alongside BLDG recently completed construction of The Orchard, a 70-story residential skyscraper in Long Island City, will serve as construction manager. Gensler Architecture, Design & Planning, one of the world's largest architects, has been engaged as executive architect.

David Werner, President of DWREI, said, "It was great to have closed this transaction with Ran Eliasaf and Michael Ainbinder of Northwind Group. They have been an excellent partner to DWREI, and their certainty of execution is unparalleled in the marketplace. We're very pleased to be moving ahead with the next phase of 100 Wall Street. Lloyd Goldman and the BLDG team have been terrific partners."

Justin Kleinman, Executive Vice President and COO of BLDG, said, "100 Wall Street is uniquely suited for adaptive reuse, allowing us to create 168 luxury residences while maintaining a Class A office component with best-in-class amenities. We are thrilled to continue our outstanding financing relationship with Northwind Group and this closing represents an important milestone for the project. We appreciate Northwind's continued confidence in the vision at 100 Wall Street."

The loan was originated through Northwind Group's discretionary debt fund platform as part of the firm's ongoing strategy of providing financing for well-located, institutional-quality office-to-residential conversions across New York City and other supply constrained markets.

Ran Eliasaf, Founder and Managing Partner of Northwind Group, commented, "We are pleased to continue our partnership with Lloyd Goldman and David Werner, two of New York's most established real estate investors. We believe 100 Wall Street is an ideal conversion that will deliver 168 much-needed residential units to the city and the fact that the office component is already over 95% occupied and cash flowing is very positive. Great work by our team executing this financing and expanding our initial $95mm pre-development loan into a full construction loan. This is the 8th conversion project we have financed in the city, and we are implementing all experience we have learned as we continue expanding our credit platform into this strategy."

Northwind was represented by John Vavas of Polsinelli Group.

The Birmingham-based firm's third office will open at Dallas' historic Old Parkland campus, extending a $16 billion model serving more than 80 families.

DALLAS, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Arlington, an independent multi-family office providing multi-disciplinary services to selected ultra-high net worth families, today announced it will open a Texas office at the historic Old Parkland campus in Dallas. The office is scheduled to open in September 2026. The new location extends a business Arlington has built organically since 1998.

Since its founding, Arlington has established a distinct model of service centered on the belief that a family office has one purpose: to Build a Better Family®. The firm oversees more than $16 billion in Assets Under Stewardship for 84 families and 870 Souls Under Management ®, with 67 team members holding 42 advanced designations between them. Arlington has built its reputation on a foundation of deep, multi-disciplinary expertise and long-term partnership across tailored investment solutions in both public and private markets, wealth management, legacy planning, and fiduciary, tax, and philanthropy services.

"Our expansion into Dallas is a natural evolution of our commitment to provide a high-touch, boutique experience for our clients," said Ken Polk, CEO and Founder of Arlington. "Old Parkland provides an environment that reflects the spirit of excellence of both our firm and the families we serve. By establishing a permanent presence in Dallas, we are better positioned to serve our existing client families in Texas, build new client relationships, and add great talent to our team. This opportunity only enhances our unique position and our commitment to a model of family office service prioritizing the growth of a family's human capital alongside the growth of its financial capital."

As the firm expands to Dallas, it brings with it a proven model and position as the Purpose-Governed Family Office – an identity defined by the values that have anchored Arlington since its inception:

- Built Organically: Arlington's growth is fueled by entrepreneurialism, internal innovation, and meticulous bespoke service rather than external acquisition.

- Owned Independently: The firm has taken no outside capital investment. Every owner works inside the business and directly with client families, aligning the firm's interests with the families it serves.

- Protected Permanently: Through a Delaware perpetual purpose trust, Arlington has codified its independence, safeguarding the firm's long-term autonomy and insulating it from the pressures of short-term value extraction.

"The continued rise of Dallas and Texas as centers of business, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation makes this an exciting next chapter for Arlington," said Stephen Rowe, President of Arlington. "We believe deeply in the long-term potential of this market and in the opportunity to serve families whose ambitions extend beyond building financial capital to creating a lasting legacy."

The Dallas office will join Arlington's existing locations in the historic John Hand Building in Birmingham, Alabama, and the restored Courtney House in Franklin, Tennessee. Each location is deliberately curated to give visiting client families an environment built for collaboration and long-horizon planning.

As outbreaks accelerate worldwide, the agreement brings Alveo's rapid, on-farm molecular diagnostic testing to farmers and health officials on three continents

ALAMEDA, Calif., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Alveo Technologies, Inc., a global leader in rapid, point-of-need molecular diagnostics for early disease detection, today announced a distribution agreement with Alliance Global (AGBL) to bring the Alveo Sense Poultry avian influenza test to farmers, integrators and public health officials across the Africa, Central Asia and a portion of the Eastern Mediterranean at a time when the threat of bird flu has never been more urgent.

Avian influenza is spreading at alarming rates, infecting more than 208 million domestic birds in the U.S. alone and at least 633 million globally, putting farms, supply chains and workers at serious risk. For the agricultural and public health communities in these regions, rapid on-site testing is a critical line of defense to safeguard businesses, protect flocks and reduce the risk of transmission to workers.

Under the agreement AGBL has rights to distribute the platform across:

- Africa

- Central Asia

- Select countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region

The collaboration combines Alveo's palm-sized diagnostic technology with AGBL's regional network and operational expertise. Together, the companies are addressing vulnerabilities in the food supply chain and delivering rapid, accurate and scalable testing solutions to support compliance, quality control and public health protection.

"AGBL's reach across Africa, Central Asia and the Eastern Mediterranean Region gives us a direct path to farmers, integrators and health officials who need reliable avian influenza testing where outbreaks are affecting poultry producers," said Scott Thomas, chief commercial officer at Alveo. "This agreement extends the availability of Alveo Sense Poultry to communities that depend on healthy flocks for their livelihoods and food security."

"Farmers, public health and other officials in these regions need a way to rapidly and accurately determine whether flocks are infected with avian influenza so they can take fast action to protect other animals," said Nassim Marie Hambouz, vice president, operations at AGBL. "We're looking forward to providing people in these regions with access to Alveo's revolutionary diagnostic."

With this expansive, new AGBL agreement, the Alveo Sense Poultry platform is now available globally, reflecting the company's continued momentum in building a regional commercial network for point of need avian influenza testing. For more information, visit www.alveotechnologies.com.

BIODANCE New Study Finds Real Deep Mask Supports Skin Recovery Post Laser Treatment
Image File
Original HTML

New clinic study showcases Biodance Hydrogel's ability to return skin to baseline hydration and barrier function after a single use.

NEW YORK, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Biodance, the leading Korean beauty brand and pioneer behind the now-viral Real Deep Hydrogel Mask category and authority on hydrogel technology, has announced the results of a new clinical study examining how its signature hydrogel mask supports skin recovery immediately following laser treatment, one of the most demanding tests a skincare product can face.

Inspired by Biodance founder, Mihwa Kim's personal journey with skin damage and recovery, an experience that led her to discover the power of hydrogel, reimagining it entirely for skincare and leading to the iconic hydrogel sheet masks taking over social media feeds.

Founded with the belief that skincare should guide you back to your best skin, this study presented by board-certified dermatologists Dr. Luke Maxfield and Dr. Christopher Tomassian, saw 32 participants undergo fractional laser, a treatment known to temporarily compromise the skin's barrier and trigger redness and moisture loss. Using a split-face design, each participant's face was divided down the middle with Real Deep Mask applied to one half and the other left untreated, allowing researchers to directly compare results on the same person under the same conditions.

Following a single application of Real Deep Mask, the treated side showed evidence of:

- Barrier recovery: Skin's TEWL rate returned to pre-procedure levels, while the untreated side remained elevated.

- Visible calming: A reduction in redness compared to the untreated side.

- Improved hydration: The largest change observed in the study saw skin moisture levels rise substantially above baseline, while the untreated side returned to its normal.

- A meaningful safety profile: Zero adverse events and dropouts across all 32 participants, even though the mask was tested on freshly lasered, sensitized skin.

- Strong patient satisfaction: 100% of participants reported a positive experience across all surveyed measures.

The results were attributed to the three properties of hydrogel:

- Semi-Occlusive Structure: The 3D polymer network of a hydrogel holds a large volume of water while in contact with the skin's surface, while the hydrogel matrix still permits air flow to help avoid maceration and follicular occlusion.

- Adherence as Effective Surface Layer: A viscoelastic gel follows curved surfaces (nose, nasolabial folds, jawline) that a flat carrier lifts away from. Uniform contact provided uniform TEWL reduction.

- Duration of Contact: Recovery from acute barrier disruption is a function of time. Unlike most topical formulations, hydrogel physically remains in position, sustaining conditions while recovery takes place.

"What stood out to me in this data wasn't a single dramatic number, it was that skin treated with the mask returned to its pre-procedure baseline within hours, while the untreated side didn't," says Dr. Luke Maxfield, board-certified dermatologist. "That's a meaningful, measurable difference in how it expedites the skin recovery after damage."

Dr. Christopher Tomassian, board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology, adds, "In my own practice, I already reach for hydrogel-based dressing after laser treatments because they calm inflammation and give patients real, immediate relief. Seeing that decision now back by controlled clinical data is exactly the kind of evidence our field needs."

With over 300 million hydrogel masks sold globally, Biodance is evolving beyond a single product into a hydrogel-powered skincare ecosystem, developed in partnership with dermatologists to support every unique skin journey.

The Real Deep Mask is available in five formula – Collagen, Cera-nol, Vita Niacinamide, Sea Kelp, and Caviar PDRN – each built on the same hydrogel technology examined in this study. The mask now sits at the center of a growing Biodance hydrogel exosystem, which includes the Gel Toner Pads, Jelly Serum Mist and Eye Patches, with new and exciting innovations to be announced later this year.

Full study, methodology, results, and commentary are available upon request.

Biodance Real Deep Mask is available online at Sephora and Amazon.

About BIODANCE

Biodance began in 2021 with one belief: skincare should guide you back to your best skin. Inspired by Founder Mihwa Kim's personal journey with skin damage and recovery, the experience led her to discover the power of hydrogel, reimagining it entirely for skincare and leading to the iconic hydrogel sheet masks taking over social media feeds. Underneath the virality is innovative design that redefined the category, solidifying active ingredients without a fabric base, helping the mask adhere comfortably to the skin and deliver visible results. What began as one innovation has since become the foundation of the brand. With over 300 million hydrogel masks sold globally, Biodance is evolving beyond a single product into a hydrogel-powered skincare ecosystem, developed in partnership with dermatologists to support every unique skin journey.

About the study

Study HM-P26-0933 (Final Report HM-R26-0933) was conducted by the Human Skin Clinical Trial Center Co., Ltd., under Principal Investigator Won Gyu Hong, M.D. Skin was treated with PicoSure Fraxel (picosecond Nd:YAG + fractional lens array, non-ablative) and tested via a split-face design, with half of the face treated with Biodance Real Deep Mask, while the other half was left untreated. Skin was tested before the procedure to establish a baseline, immediately following the procedure, and then after a single application. Three endpoints were measured to establish post-procedure skin recovery: Barrier Function (VapoMeter), Redness (Antera 3D), and Hydration (Epsilon E100)

Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program Marks National "Report Medicare Fraud" Day

LAWRENCE, Mass., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- September 12 was National "Report Medicare Fraud" Day, an opportunity to remind Medicare beneficiaries, families, and caregivers that reporting suspected Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse can help protect not only individual beneficiaries but the Medicare program as a whole.

While preventing Medicare fraud is critical, prevention alone cannot stop every instance of fraud. Detecting questionable charges and reporting them are equally important parts of protecting Medicare. The Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program provides free, confidential assistance to Massachusetts Medicare beneficiaries, their family members, and caregivers who have questions and concerns about possible Medicare fraud, errors, or abuse.

The MA SMP Program encourages beneficiaries to keep track of the healthcare services they receive and compare those records with their Medicare Summary Notices (MSNs), Explanations of Benefits (EOBs), and other billing statements. Beneficiaries should look for charges for services, medical equipment, or tests they do not recognize or did not receive.

When beneficiaries are unable to address a concern on their own, the MA SMP Program is poised to help review the situation and determine next steps. As appropriate, MA SMP refers complaints of suspected fraud or abuse to investigative authorities.

"Beneficiaries reviewing their MSNs and EOBs and reporting any and all discrepancies is essential to fighting Medicare fraud," said Lucilia Prates, Statewide Director of the Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol Program. "We want Massachusetts Medicare beneficiaries to know that if they see something, they should say something. Beneficiaries are the first line of defense, and the MA SMP Program is here to help you."

Contact the MA SMP Program at (800) 892-0890 or visit masmp.org.

About Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program

The Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program, under the leadership of AgeSpan, Inc., empowers and assists Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report healthcare fraud, errors, and abuse. NCCN Announces Awards for Quality Improvement Initiatives for Metastatic Prostate Cancer (mPCA)
Image File
Original HTML

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network announces funding for selected quality improvement research projects to advance health care quality and improve provider performance in mPCA care.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) Oncology Research Program (ORP) today announced funding awards for quality improvement initiatives in metastatic prostate cancer (mPCA), with funding and project oversight provided by Pfizer Global Medical Grants (GMG).

Many patients with mPCA do not receive the full range of life-prolonging therapies for which they may be eligible. The treatment gap is driven by several interconnected factors. Healthcare Access Disparities—differences in geographic location, insurance coverage, and healthcare infrastructure limit patient access to advanced treatments. Variability in Care Delivery—inconsistent clinical practices across institutions result in unequal treatment standards. Limited Support Systems—patients may lack adequate psychosocial, financial, and logistical support to navigate complex treatment options. Clinical Trial Access—inequitable access to clinical trials prevents eligible patients from accessing cutting-edge therapies.

The selected projects will support innovative approaches to improve quality of life and outcomes for people with mPCA and improve equitable access to high-quality, evidence-based care; standardize testing and diagnostic practices to ensure all patients receive appropriate evaluation; enhance clinical decision-making through scalable, sustainable strategies; and aim to increase participation in clinical trials to advance treatment options and improve outcomes.

"It is critical that we work collaboratively to ensure everyone has access to evidence-based, guideline-concordant care across the entire cancer care spectrum, as optimal care results in better outcomes for people living with and through a diagnosis of cancer," said Crystal S. Denlinger, MD, Chief Executive Officer, NCCN. "We are committed to developing projects that are not only impactful but also scalable and sustainable for long-term benefit. We congratulate these researchers and anticipate the meaningful findings from their work will shape the future of mPCA care."

The selected projects are:

Changchuan (Charles) Jiang, MD, UT Southwestern Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center

Closing the Biomarker Action Loop in Metastatic Prostate Cancer at a Major U.S. Safety-Net Cancer Program

Paul Leger, MD, Georgetown University

Multilevel Interventions to Improve the CARE of Patients with Advanced Prostate CAncer in the Medstar Health Network (I-CARE PCA)

Michael Liu, MD, MPH, Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University

Boston Dynamics Gave Up on Hydraulics. A 4-Meter Robot From China May Change the Conversation.

A 4-meter hydraulic-electric hybrid humanoid from Beijing pairs a 500 kg payload with micrometer-level fingertip precision — built for the jobs humans won't, can't, or shouldn't do.

BEIJING, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Transformers, Gundam, the mechs of Pacific Rim — for decades these were fantasy. At the World Robot Conference (WRC), wrapped up recently in Beijing, one machine made the leap from science fiction to physical hardware.

Neo1, a 4-meter hydraulic-electric hybrid humanoid from Beijing-based NeodraDynamics Robotics, pairs a 500 kg dual-arm payload with fingertip repeatability of ±0.05 mm — empowered by digital hydraulics technology, heavy industrial muscle with micrometer-level control. It directly challenges a trade-off the industry has largely accepted: that a humanoid must choose between finesse and force. The launch drew immediate attention from global tech media and capital markets. In interviews with Xinhua, CCTV and Russia's RIA Novosti, founder Yang Tao framed it as a shift in what robots are for: "Digital hydraulics and electric actuation are complementary. Together they let a robot go airborne, underground and deep-sea — breaking limits of force and endurance and freeing it from the constraints of human form." His thesis: "Machines should not be constrained by the physical limits of human beings; instead, we should empower humanity with machinery and intelligence."

The industry is building robots for the wrong jobs. Today's pure-electric humanoids hit a hard ceiling — limited power density, accelerated wear under load, and poor tolerance for heat, cold, dust and radiation. That is why so many robots never leave the lab. Much of the field is chasing humanoid form and lightweight service demos, which misses the point of why robots were invented. Robots exist to take the work humans won't, can't, or shouldn't do — the Dull, Dirty, Dangerous and Difficult ("4D") scenarios that are the real market.

What the industry retired was an old control paradigm, not hydraulics themselves. Could digital hydraulics drive the same leap in robotics that digital electronics brought to computing?

Neo1 is built around a micro digital hydraulic cylinder that weighs 1.1 kg yet drives a 1,000 kg load at 1 micrometer repeatability — while withstanding nuclear radiation, deep-sea pressure, extreme temperatures, heavy dust and intense vibration. With a 5-finger dexterous hand and a 7-DOF humanoid arm, it handles heavy assembly, heavy load logistics, mining, constructions and deep-sea work, etc., and still performs precise, delicate operations. Heavy payload. High precision. Extreme robustness. That is the Neo1 value proposition.

Founded in 2024, NeodraDynamics skipped the industry's homogenized race toward lightweight consumer robots. It targets the arduous, high-risk operations where robots are urgently needed. Neo1's debut poses a question the whole field should answer: if robots go back to their core mission — tackling the hardest, most dangerous work — can digital hydraulics open a genuinely new commercialization path for humanoid robotics?

New solar installation expected to supply more than 30% of the factory's electricity needs and pay for itself in approximately three years

SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Yuyu Pharma (KRX: 000220) has completed a major expansion of solar power at its manufacturing facility in Korea, bringing the site's total on-site solar capacity to approximately 1 megawatt (MW). The new 869-kilowatt (kW) solar system builds on earlier installations of 30 kW in 2020 and 96.6 kW in 2021. Together, the solar systems are expected to provide more than 30% of the electricity used at the manufacturing facility.

The newest installation is expected to generate at least 1.2 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually. Over 25 years, Yuyu Pharma estimates that it could generate approximately 30.96 million kWh of electricity.

The project is designed to deliver both environmental and economic benefits. By generating more electricity on-site, Yuyu Pharma expects to reduce its dependence on purchased electricity and lower long-term operating costs. Based on the company's current projections, the investment is expected to pay for itself in approximately three years.

"Solar power makes environmental and economic sense for Yuyu. We can generate more of our own electricity, reduce long-term operating costs, and make our factory more resilient," said Robert Wonsang Yu, CEO of Yuyu Pharma. "For an 85-year-old company, staying competitive means continuing to invest in how the next generation of Yuyu will operate."

The solar expansion is part of Yuyu Pharma's broader effort to modernize its operations while improving efficiency and sustainability. Founded in 1941, Yuyu Pharma has continued to evolve alongside Korea's healthcare industry. The company views investments in areas such as renewable energy and smarter manufacturing as part of preparing its operations for the decades ahead.
